Kubičová, Lucie ; Vacek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Libra, Jiří (referee)
Addictology is a multidisciplinary field of addictive behavior. The theme of my thesis is the effort to find a possible connection between the selection of the given field and the use of addictive substances by the students of addictology or by someone in their immediate vicinity. The final thesis from previous years show that addictology students have a higher prevalence of alcohol consumption than general medicine students and dental students, and that more than half of all students in the Bachelor's cycle study smoking tobacco. The aim of this research study is to determine the extent of addictive behavior among students of addictology and then to compare it with students of other university disciplines. I suppose that the extent of addictive behavior will be higher among students of addictology than students of other university disciplines. The data was obtained through an anonymous electronic questionnaire filled out by 220 students of different schools and subjects. A survey sample of respondents was divided into an experimental group of addictology students and a control group of students of other higher education disciplines. At the statistical level of significance, I have succeeded in verifying the hypothesis that addictology students have a higher degree in their immediate vicinity of a...
