Comparison of free available software for the calculation of electric network parameters
Dvořák, Radim ; Janík, Daniel (referee) ; Ptáček, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare freely available software for calculating the parameters of electrical networks. The first part is used to give an idea how to operate in the programs Sichr, DOC, Spider (xSpider) and ~ SIMARIS design and their evaluation in terms of usability, requirements, graphical interface and controllability. Furthermore, a technical analysis of specific topologies of specified distribution networks is performed in the work. In the second part, the calculation of network parameters was performed using the SW above. Finally, the realized calculations of voltage drops and short-circuit currents using individual programs were compared with each one another.
Laboratory Demonstrator for LPWA Technologies Enabling the Communication via the Lightweight M2M (LWM2M) Protocol
Dvořák, Radim ; Štůsek, Martin (referee) ; Mašek, Pavel (advisor)
As the number of wireless devices rises, so does the demand for reliable data transmission. To ensure the reliability of data transfers with such devices, suitable wireless technology, and a suitable transmission protocol have to be chosen according to the device capabilities and requirements. This thesis describes LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) technologies currently available on the market, both on licensed spectrum and non-licensed spectrum, focusing on licensed spectrum technologies (Narrowband Internet of Things, LTE-M) and also commonly used M2M enabled protocols for IoT devices. Furthermore, it compares those protocols from the communication parameters and data traffic perspectives with focus on overheads that further increase the amount of data transmitted but are necessary to ensure reliable data transmission. Lastly, it focuses on LWM2M protocol describing it to the detail and describes an LWM2M C++ library created as part of this thesis. In addition, a laboratory demonstrator was created utilizing this library.
Electronic RLC meter
Dvořák, Radim ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with measurement methods of passive components R, L ,C used almost in every electrical circuit. Work describes progress of choosing the right methods for measurement and also the process of designing the autonomous RLC meter with use of ATMEL microprocessor chips. The RLC meter will be powered from rechargable battery and will be able to measure primary attributes of RLC components.
Dynamic Changes in the Terrain
Dvořák, Radim ; Bílek, Václav (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design, implementation and analysis of the model for dynamic changes in the terrain. Present state of terrain deformation in OpenSceneGraph environment is described and available relevant software called TDS, which allows terrain adaptation to new inserted objects is presented. Special emphasis is placed on design of model for physically based terrain deformations that are caused by moving object or by bomb explosion. The results of simulation tests are presented and on the base of model analysis, the optimizations, which significantly improve final algorithm, are designed and realized.
Efficiency increasing of assembly cell
Dvořák, Radim ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with increasing the efficiency of the assembly workplace (production line). Thesis gradually discusses with lean production, their basic methods and the EURO VI emission standard, which is closely related to the produced product. In the main part, an analysis of the current state is performed with the help of the above-mentioned methods and a proposal of solutions to ensure efficiency. On the base of these findings, the automation of the test station is proposed, including a 3D model, drawing documentation, phases of implementation and real cost calculations with a final assessment of efficiency, return of investments and risk analysis. The second elaborated complementary variant deals with the ergonomics of the production line and includes a 3D model of newly designed tables, real calculations and final economic evaluation.
Physically-based Modeling and Simulation
Data Processing from GPS Receiver
Srnec, Pavel ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Dvořák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about data processing from GPS receiver, specifically about surface maps. In the beginning part, principles of GPS technologies and NMEA protocol are described to understand calculation actual position on the map using geographic coordinates. It analyses communication with GPS receiver, data processing to maps and display position. Concept and implementation of final application, which is proposed as graphical user interface, is descibed. Application has been tested in terrain with GPS receiver u-blox 5 and results behavior application are at the end of bachelor. As a result of the bachelor, executed targets and requierement is summarized and possibilities of uprading project are analysed.
Searching of Transport Public Connections on Mobile Phones
Krch, Petr ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Dvořák, Radim (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to design an off-line application for mobile phones, enabling the fastest line within the public transport. User interface is designed so that its operating was intuitive and friendly. In conclusion, the importance of application and assessed the proposed options for further development.
Detection of Interrupted Friction Ridges of a Fingerprint and Their Reconstruction
Cejpek, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Stružka, Jaroslav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis describes creating application with graphical user interface for editing a fingerprint ridges. They are interrupted due to dry fingerprint. The proposed algorithm uses Gabor filter for editing fingerprint ridges. He is implemented in C++ and uses a library aimed at work with images OpenCV and Qt application for creating graphical user interface. The thesis is also about testing and evaluating the results of a proposed algorithm for editing fingerprint ridges.
Personal Multimedia Library
Koukal, Jan ; Dvořák, Radim (referee) ; Kubát, David (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to get acquainted with specifications of multimedia files and their attributes and study options that can be used for their management too. Further was necessary to focus on already done solutions of similar type from which it was able to inspire and draw on experience. The goal of this work was to design a functional multiplaform application on past experience that will allow effecitve management and browsing of these files and provide user enough of relevant informations. In the next step was application implemented and tested so it represents a fully functional result of the thesis.
