AeroWorks: Graphic User Iterface for Autopilot
Duryagina, Viktoriya ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
The objective of the bachelor thesis is to design a graphical user interface for autopilot control system. The first chapter is dedicated to automatic flight control system theory overview. The next part discusses the user interface requirements and human-computer interaction problems. Subsequently, the design process and the development of new user interface are described. The final solution is implemented in the SimStar simulator.
AeroWorks: Visual Identification of Aircraft Flight Regimes
Kardoš, Juraj ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the visual identification of an aircraft flight's regimes. It describes the spatial motion of an airplane along with the visualization of flight parameters and also proposes a system for a flight regime visual identification. The system processes the input video on a frame by frame basis in two steps. Initially, the video is being stabilized and the system subsequently proceeds in identification of flight related quantities describing the current flight state. Video stabilization is based on feature points detection and an optical flow calculation. Video frames are transformed in order to achieve sufficient consecutive frames overlap and thus to minimize the parasitic oscillations of the video acquisition system. Identification of values indicated by flight instruments is based on the Hough line transform approach. The thesis also includes a description of an application that analyzes a video from the cockpit of an aircraft and is able to recognize the instrument values displayed on specified flight instruments.
Visualization of Data from Flight Loggers
Martiš, Adam ; Rydlo, Karol (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
The present work is focused on the analysis of the flight logger from the theoretical as well as practical, using available materials and valid regulations. The aim of this thesis is to explore the issue of available flight recorders. Suggest a suitable method of data visualization as a basis for design and build an application that visualizes data from flight recorders done.
Multimedia Diff - Audio Documents
Komadel, Michal ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This work describes development of a diff tool working with audio files containing general sound such as music, speech and other sounds. There are presented facts from different domains of science related to sound, such as psychoacoustics, speech recognition and automatic music genre categorisation. This paper also contains description of some diff algorithms and external tools needed for development of the goal application. Moreover, there is introduced design and implementation of the application, settings used for sound features extraction and evaluation of attained results.
Runway Visual Identification
Mudrík, Samuel ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the usage of optical signal in aircraft navigation systems. The solution is based upon the creation of runway identi cation system working with the record of an onboard camera.
Hybrid Control System for Quadrocopter
Sojka, Stanislav ; Mlích, Jozef (referee) ; Dittrich, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and theoretical description of the hybrid control system for quadrocopter. First, a mathematical model is presented, sensors needed for development and their principles. This work shows the system architecture design and scheme of communication channels between the blocks. Implementation section discusses specific uses of computing nodes/sensors and their settings. In this thesis there are illustrated messages sent between computing nodes and the control loop machine. It also describes how to test the sensors, measurement results and techniques for improvement.
Night Sky on Mobile Device
Plešek, Jan ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo} This thesis describes concept and implementation of the application designed to observate the night sky in the simple and intuitive way using the concept of augmented reality. Based on the brief specification of the most widespread mobile operation systems, the iOS system was chosen as the implementation platform. The thesis describes methods to calculate the position of celestial objects based on the data gathered from GPS module, magnetometer and accelerometer. Stars, planets and other objects are rendered by the stereographic projection. The user can see celestial objects trough the mobile device display and control the direction of the view by positioning and turning the device. The application could be used for quick orientation in night sky during astronomical observation or educational purposes.
AeroWorks: Mode Selection Panel for Autopilot
Cibula, Peter ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of the aplication for the autopilot mode selection panel. It describes automatic flight control systems from their origins to the present. It deals with the spacial model of aircraft motion. It also describes the hardware characteristics of the panel, the application in terms of implementation and functionality, testing on flight simulator SimStar and future plans.
Data Cube Visualization
Dittrich, Petr ; Kupčík, Jan (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The topic of the master's thesis is a concept and implementation of the prototype application TOPZ demostrating the data warehouse. All theoretical facts about the data storage space are discussed at first. It is also specified the areas of possible improvements of the data warehouse. The specification of requirements and concept of the demonstration application are described in the following part. Testing the performace of the data warehouse is discussed in last chapter.
Electronic Flight Bag for IPad
Černý, Tomáš ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the EFB systems, its standards, types and modes of operation. It describes the design and implementation of an Apple iPad application, intended to be used as an EFB by the Czech general aviation pilots. The real utilization of such application allows for simplification of the preflight check and safe execution of flight while removing the usual load of paper documents from the cockpit. This is achieved through a SW im- plementation of operationally attractive functions. It could be for example: searching in regulations and pilot's handbooks, acquisition and viewing of meteorological informations and recent changes in air traffic, interactive calculation of important parameters or flight navigation.
