C++ programming examples for education
Šabatka, Pavel ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is implementation utilities for beginners in programming. These utilities could make passing subject BPPC easier. Theoretical part dissertates about programming languages C, C++ and about differences between them. There is also talked about compilers of these languages with accent for development environment MS Visual C++ 2005 and it’s diversities form ISO standards. This path contains also some basic chapters of programming, which are often noticed later. The second part is implementation libraries for checking programs. Library check.h checks programmer’s using of dynamic allocated memory and files. Library adtcheck.h was designed for checking and printing topology of abstract data types, which were implemented by programmer. There was designed also web pages with documentation for both libraries.
Eye recognition system
Zvak, Martin ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with biometric methods, aiming at possibilities of eye recognition, and their application. It contains overview of biometrics evolution such as independent, fully accepted science during last decades and nowadays. Also it contains overview of most expanded biometric methods and takes a look on chosen method of eye recognition – iris recognition. Next aim of this work is design and description of implementation of suitable identification method for iris recognition, based on simple practices of image processing.
Barcode recognition system
Svoboda, Radovan ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with principle and technological process used to detect barcodes that are commonly used. It contains brief overview of barcodes according to type and structure. Also it takes a closer look on type DATAMATRIX and its analysis. It describes possible hardware and software approaches that can be used to detect barcodes, describes concrete concept of scanning barcode and software solution for its identification.
Web defects classification
Janošík, Zdeněk ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)
In this master thesis is described how to design and implement classifier of defects detected during the final stage of production nonwovens. The beginning of the thesis is devoted to the analysis of options for image processing and classification. Followed by the part, where is described process of image segmentation and extraction of feature vector. Description of classifier implementation and table of achieved results of classification on real images of detected defects.
Modern methods for digital scene capturing
Nováček, Petr ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The thesis composes conventional and modern methods for digital scene capturing. The target of the thesis is a comparison of CMOS with Bayer mask and Foveon X3 Merrill sensors followed by a design of algorithms for image fusion which can combine advantages of the both sensor types. The thesis starts with an introduction and a description of methods and processes leading to scene capturing. The next part deals with capturing a gallery of test images and with a comparison of both sensors based on the gallery images. Further there are algorithms designed for image fusion which can combine advantages of the selected sensors. The last part of the thesis is devoted to an evaluation of results and of the used algorithms.
Barcode recognition system
Pribula, Wojciech ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis describes barcodes which are used in postal services. Specifically, it is concerned with Intelligent Mail Barcode, the GS1-128 code, the C128 code of Ceska posta (Czech Postal Services) and the QR code. The thesis attempts to analyze methods of encoding information into barcodes and error detection algorithms used for error correction during the decoding processes. Most importantly, there is described Reed-Solomon error correction in the QR code. There are presented and evaluated different methods of code detecting which are suggested by authors of various academic articles. The thesis also describes the method of creating test sets of images and proposed appearances of the scanning scene. Additionally, there are described algorithms for detection and decoding barcodes GS1-128, C128 and IMB in the image which was created during the work on this thesis. Finally, there is the evaluation of the percentage success of algorithms.
MODAS DataPoint binary and analog inputs tester
Beránek, Jakub ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
Main accomplishment of this master’s thesis is to make a module for verification of the function binary and analog inputs (analog inputs only for current loop between 0-20mA) on data logger MODAS DataPoint. Hardware testing device will be made on development kit STM32F3-Discovery from STMicroelecronics Company. Device generates testing signals for confirmation of the function MODAS DataPoint device. Testing device communicates with MODAS DataPoint device via Ethernet, communication between PC application and hardware of the testing device is realized by USB interface in DFU mode. Solution included PC application, where you can connect to the tester device and tested Modas DP device. Furtheremore, the test starts here and application inform user about during a test, processed measured data and generate output protocols.
Measurement and linearization unit for flow meters
Maštera, Martin ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
Thesis describes the design and realization of linearization display unit that will receive pulses from a gear flow meter KRACHT whose frequency corresponds to a flow. The measured value is flow that nonlinearly depends on the temperature and viscosity of the medium. The dependency is described by calibration curves for each flow meter. The task of the diploma thesis is to design, implement, and verify the operation of the display unit, which calculates the actual flow rate from the input data (pulse rate, temperature, viscosity, and flow meter calibration curves). The device will contain a suitable user interface to display all measured values, inputs for connecting measuring sensors, and outputs for transmission of measured data. A part of the device will be a USB interface for configuration and uploading calibration curves from a PC application, which is designed by diploma student.
Coupling of images
Gorgol, Martin ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis describes the design and implementation of the application that created the basis set pieces "puzzle" according to the shape of the folded edges of the original image. This application is developed using Matlab. The work also describes how to create a database of actual pieces of the puzzle composite photo image. Closer was also focused on finding the characteristic section points, their segmentation and appropriate description. There is dismantled procedure for selecting the types of symptoms and their extraction. On the basis of suitably described pieces of segmented parts is designed and implemented the algorithm of comparing and grouping into clusters. Using the proposed method of visualization is then displayed in the resulting composite picture puzzle.
