Flying drones rescue systems
Hájek, Tomáš ; Janhuba, Luboš (referee) ; Pejchar, Jan (advisor)
This paper addresses the issue of security and integration of UAVs in air traffic operations and analyses possible risks. This work defines methodology to demonstrate airworthiness of the parachute recovery system under extreme climatic conditions. The first part of the methodology deals with the compliance performance requirements in external environment and the second part verifies performance parachute canopy. Methodology developed herein is subsequently verified by practical tests on parachute recovery system Galaxy GBS 10.
Analysis of the operational risks of newly introduced aircraft types
Sklenář, Filip ; Janhuba, Luboš (referee) ; Chlebek, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis examines the process of introducing a new aircraft into the service, in particular by the steps from initial vision of a new aircraft until after the aircraft. The content of the thesis consists of seven parts. In the first four sections, I describe the organizations involved in aviation and reliability, physical principles of aircraft systems, accident statistics, regulatory requirements. The fifth section focuses on reliability and describes the procedures for the analysis of reliability. The sixth part is focused on the procedure for introducing new aircraft into service and also includes the methodology for eliminating the element of lack of confidence, which was one of the main objectives of this work. The seventh part is a demonstration of the procedure for the introduction of aircraft into operation.
Cockpit instruments for four-seater sport and leisure aircraft
Liberda, Jiří ; Janhuba, Luboš (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
This master thesis includes a comprehensive review of four-seater sport and leisure aircraft with focus on their cockpit instruments. The description of the selected glass cockpits is listed. Thesis also includes design of instrument panel, which is designed according to the relevant regulations and standard configuration of existing aircrafts. There is also a brief overview of the regulations necessary for the installation of these systems in the aircrafts. At the end of the this work is failure mode and effects analysis, with calculation of probability malfunction for critical functions.
Functional Hazard Assessment of Small Aircraft
Hartman, Matěj ; Janhuba, Luboš (referee) ; Hlinka, Jiří (advisor)
The object of this diploma thesis is to perform Functional Hazard Assessment of small four-seat aircraft according to Federal Aviation Regulations Part 23, which would be similar to present aircrafts on market. Input data were acquired by research of systems aircrafts use on current market. On this basis the Functional Hazard Assessment was performed ad aircraft level. Total loss of power supply was qualified as Catastrophic therefore is used in following assessment. A preliminary failure rate assessment of typical parts used in electrical system was performed at the end of diploma thesis. For the most crucial parts a simple model was created and failure rate computed.
