Title: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of distorsio articularis talocruralis pedis l. dx gravis Summary: The aim of this thesis is to introduce readers to the topic of physiotherapy sessions at diagnosis ankle sprains. The general described the anatomy and biomechanics of the foot, with a focus on the ankle joint. Injuries of the ankle will focus on the distortion. It is here described mechanism of injury, classification, clinical presentation and diagnosis. The general conclusion of the thesis describes the methods and therapeutic procedures and physical therapy to help the patient to full recovery. A special part is prepared on the basis of patient case studies. They also described individual therapy in the treatment. Name of bachelor`s thesis: Case Study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of status post osteosynthesis of lateral ankel Author: Petra Smolová Objective: The aim of this study was to give comprehensive information on the basic form of ankle fractures, their treatment options and develop a case of a patient with this diagnosis. Method: The work is a form of retrieval processing of the issue of external ankle fractures, and is divided into general and special. The general part is divided into various sections and subsections that describe the basic anatomical knowledge of the lower leg, ankle and foot. Is outlined here ankle kinesiology and basic biomechanical aspects. Another part of the general part deals with the classification of fractures, their complications and surgical solutions and specifically fractures of the external ankle, possibilities of their treatment and rehabilitation. Hamstring Injuries in Athletes

Objective: To give a coherent view on the problems of hamstring injuries in sports. Make an inquiry into muscle injury occurence in elite athletes (athletics- sprints, football, basketball and handball) in the Czech republic and consequently regard the possibilities of treatment by means of physical therapy and other metodes to make the time necessary for returning an injured sportsmen to competition shorter. To establish the possibilities of diagnostics, injury treatment including prevention procedure; to detail risk factors and opinions etiopathology of hamstring injury, muscle injury symptoms; to desribe the most common investigative metodes in sportsmen who suffered from hamstring injury, and various aspects of returning to training, including potential complications; and finally a brief outline of the possibilities of how to solve the problem in question in selected sport fields. Last but not least, to answer the set sientific questions. Effect of manual lymph drainage on the healing of muscle

Title of work: Effect of manual lymph drainage on the healing of muscle Objective: The aim of this thesis is to assess the impact and effect of manual lymph drainage on wound rupture of the muscle. Method: Development and comparison of six case studies of patients diagnosed with muscle rupture. Three patients were treated with manual lymphatic drainage, the remaining three patients were treated with rest therapy. The effect of treatment was documented using diagnostic ultrasound. All patients were performed one frame muscle rupture after myocardial muscle injury and second inspection, after three weeks of the treatment. Size rupture were compared before and after treatment. Results: After comparing six case histories of patients diagnosed with muscle rupture was found that for the first group that was treated with manual lymphatic drainage has been reduced swelling, hematoma, and thus muscle rupture. Conclusion: The effect of manual lymph drainage in the group of probands was noticeable. However, such results shouldn't be generally applicable due to the small number of probands.
