Bullying in labour law relations
Žák, Jakub ; Soušková, Milena (advisor) ; Spirit, Michal (referee)
Problematics of bullying in labour law relations is very actual topic. The main aim of this thesis is to demonstrate that presence of bullying in Czech labour law relations is not on retreat but quite opposite despite all efforts to eradicate it. First of all, in first two chapters there are defined basic concepts closely linked to problematics of bullying and then there are examinations of bullying related legislation on international, European and national levels. Result of third chapter is comprehensive summary of available means which victims of discrimination or bullying in work space can use to defend themselves. Practical part based on survey from years 2011, 2013 and 2015 deals with individual occurrences of bullying incidents in Czech labour law relations, average frequency and duration of those incidents and also ways victims of bullying in work space proceed in solving it.
Methods of study habitats and microhabitats preferences of freshwater fishes of Central Europe
Žák, Jakub ; Švátora, Miroslav (advisor) ; Drozd, Bořek (referee)
Small streams are a common habitat in Central Europe with unstable, rapidly-changing conditions. We can examine habitats on three different scales: microhabitat, mesohabitat and macrohabitat. Habitat preferences were among the fields of interest of Antonín Frič as he tried to describe the changing gradient of fish assemblages from source to the river's mouth on the macrohabitat scale. Habitat preferences are examined from a spatial point of view (substrate, depth, shelter), temporal point of view (season, day/night), biotic point of view (interspecies and intraspecies competition) and abiotic point of view (dissolved chemicals, velocity). For obtaining data of good quality, it is necessary to choose the right location and select the opti- mal strategy of examining fish assemblages (e.g. electrofishing, radiotelemetry, cameras). All variables which can affect habitat preferences in fish are measured. Multivariate statistical methods (e.g. PCA, RDA, CCA, CA) are used for evaluation of obtained datasets. Currently, we live in a fast developing period of this scientific area because of the need of evaluation of the human impact on freshwater biotope. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce variables which influence habitat pref- erences of fish, to propose a modern review of methods commonly...
Analysis of the Sports Organization and Suggestions to Improvement
Žák, Jakub ; Nováková, Svatava (referee) ; Blahutková, Marie (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is focused on analyzing sport club VSK Technika Brno. This thesis is divided into several chapters. First chapter is theoretical one. In following chapters we analyze the club by PEST analysis and SWOT analysis. During investigation, we use survey and interview techniques. Based on the gathered data, we propose suggestions for improvements and their contribution to the club.
Application of Neural Networks for Human Face Localization
Žák, Jakub ; Štancl, Vít (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
This paper describes aplication of multi layered neural network for solving problem of detection human face in static picture. This Method has good generalizational capabilities in general and there is no need to assembly complex models of analyzed data. There is also mentioned posibility of using neural network with changed architecture in this work.
Wireless Sensor Network with Static Topology for Building Monitoring
Koudelka, Jan ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on realization of wireless sensor network (WSN) for buildings monitoring and real-time obtaining of data. Just for work on this project the micaZ sensor nodes have been chosen. The main task is to create WSN with a static topology and some communications mechanism. That network consists of several nodes, and there is a special one called base station. It also has a special function, different from the others. The function is that the base station is collecting data from all of the nodes and sending them to a computer through an USB port. In addition to designing the network topology the other tasks are to implement a comunication protocol and to create computer application and application for sensor nodes. Data will be visualised in text and graphical form. Moreover there are some information about the simulation tool called TOSSIM which allows testing applications without having a physical access to micaZ sensor nodes.
Testing of Indicators for Technical Analysis in Stock Market Trading
Melichar, Josef ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with testing indicators of technical analysis and their behavior with different kinds of market. In this thesis we tested simple moving averages, exponential moving averages, relative strength index indicator, MACD indicator, and stochastic indicator. At the end we tested a combined indicator, and that was stochastic with MACD. We created an automatic trading system for each of these indicators. From the results we can find out, that by optimizing the technical indicators we can get satisfying results by increasing the profitability. Indicators that seemed non-profitable were in fact profitable after the optimization. However testing parameters of indicators of technical analysis alone is not enough to make a stable profit.
Application for Alignment of DNA Parts
Kašpárek, Tomáš ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with DNA sequences alignment methods with focus on execution speed of given task and its optimality. The outcome of this thesis results in multiple programs, which presents DNA alignment algorithms and their versions programmed with OpenCL libraries, which are optimized on calculation rate. Text of this thesis apprises reader with DNA alignment problematic and its importance in biology. Further, algorithms for DNA alignment and options of their speed-up using libraries like CUDA or OpenCL are presented.
Chess Program with Various Chess Variations with Various Initial Arrangement
Dvořák, Pavel ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis focuses on describing required components in the process of creation of modern chess application. Goal is to create chess program with several chess variations using structures and algorithms based on professional chess programs. Thesis describes principles of chessboard representation and various factors of chessboard state evaluation used in classic chess and implemented variants. Finally thesis describes game-tree search algorithms and enhancements and compares their effect.
Hand Writing Letters Recognition
Jelínek, Radek ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with handwriting recognition and conversion into digital form. Recognition is focused on recognition of letters and finding success when you did not use the dictionary for word recognition. One part of document is compare with commercial applications.
Editor and Simulator of Traffic by Cellular Automata
Vašátko, Libor ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Žák, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with cellular automata, mainly with their application in traffic simulation. Existing simulation models Nagel-Schreckenberg and Brake-light are analyzed, and their extension to simulate intersections is designed. Application for editing and simulating of any intersection is designed and implemented. This application allows to compare different simulation models also allows to add new simulation model created by user. In the end, designed extension for simulation models is tested.
