Ownership of flats
Dvořák, Petr ; Salač, Josef (advisor) ; Dvořák, Jan (referee)
73 The flat ownership The flat ownership institute has found its feet within the Czech Republic and is experiencing a boom, despite the not perfect legal regulations. The topicality of this issue and practical experiences in aplication of legal regulation of flat ownership institute have been the decisive factor when thinking over which topic of my Diploma Thesis to choose. In this Work, I have tried to describe the existing German legal regulations of the flat ownership that has significantly been changed following the 2007 amendment and that evidently has not been noticed by the professional public so far, which is why theses expressed earlier by others are often repeated in literature and articles. That is why I hope my Work will help readers form a picture of the real state of the German legal regulations. Our legislator could also be inspired with some things and include them in his new bill on flat ownership. The Work further includes a description of the Czech legal regulations of the flat ownership and problems arising when applied that are partly caused by the ignorance of the law and, to some extent, by the imperfection of the legal regulations. As mentioned above, the flat ownership issue is related to considerable part of the Czech population, which is why it is necessary these arising relations...
Interactive textbook of stereometry
Peter Singer's ethics as a challenge to traditional morality
Šestáková, Kateřina ; Čapek, Jakub (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
This essay chietly discusses the most controversial consequences of Peter Singer's preference utilitarianism in these three areas: 1) Singer's critique of human attitude towards animals and his demand of vegetarianism; 2) Singer' s rejection of sanctity of life ethics and his advocacy of abortion, infanticide and eutanasia; 3) Singer's conviction that we have a moral obligation to help financially poor people in third world countries to such an extent that giving more would cause us comparable amount of suffering as that we are trying to reduce. I also attempt to summarize main arguments of Singer' s critics. In my own criticism I tend to be quite generous to Singer and attack his opinions from within in most cases. I do my best to share not only my own arguments and examples, but also my personal experience and emotions, because this topic deserves nothing less in my opinion.
Filing and Processing of Coded Information in Picture Form for Children between Five and Seven Years of Age
Dvořáková, Jana ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
The diploma work is based at the presumption that at the beginning of the school attendance a mixed picture - acoustic communication in mathematics is prevailing. The work describes the difficulty in the process of executing of pronounced information at the children of pre-school age and the children attending the first class at school. The work also describes how to eliminate this difficulty by including of some innovative activities in which an oral communication is prevailing. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Understanding representations of space via computer technology
Dvořák, Petr
There was and is written a big amount of literatuře with the topič of three-dimensional imagery, this literatuře afflicts almost all areas connected with this problematic. But just a few places are given to the possibility ofusing information technology for development of three-dimensional imagery. Simultaneously the children grow into the world of computers and we can not neglect this fact. Children approach to computers with a quite commonplace and without fear (in contrast to adults). They are moving in virtual environments, which simulate a real world more and more punctually and also with its physical rules. Every of these experiences can influence their three-dimensional imagery. Also the ability of transformation of the surrounding three-dimensional world into the picture-two- dimensional form (and of course contrariwise) - it closely bears on the three-dimensional imagination. Mainly the ability to read the planar pictures and to use the gained information in the creation of three- dimensional conceptions. This ability is at school knowingly evolved, for example through channelling the body in free parallel projection. Emphasis insists on the work with real models and their pictures. In my work I try to refer to the advantages and crags of using computer programmes, which simulate to us real models...
Using Projects to Motivate Students in Mathematics
Složilová, Šárka ; Kubínová, Marie (advisor) ; Dvořák, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis aims to show the possible use of project teaching in order to motivate pupils to study mathematics. The thesis is interspersed with author's self-reflections which came up during her study of motivation questions, project teaching and above all, the construction of projects. The content is divided into five parts. The first of them follows the author's motivation to write this thesis. Second chapter is theoretical; it is concerned with the psychological and didactical point of view on pupils' motivation to study. Third chapter deals with projects. In this chapter, a development of the project method is described, the basic notions are defined, the applicability of projects is analysed from the point of view of new approaches to motivate pupils and the project teaching is characterised as a specific educational theory. The fourth chapter contains a general description of planning and construction of projects in mathematics, an analysis of author's primary projects in comparison with her new knowledge and a new project creation detailed process. Fifth chapter gives information about the Czech education reforms, about the fundamental themes of RVP ZV (General educational programme for elementary school) and about the use of project teaching in school educational programmes. Nature and solution of solutionless problems with special regard to Buddhism
Šmilauer, Václav ; Dvořák, Petr (referee) ; Bockover, Mary I. (advisor)
An Analysis of the Factors Affecting Credit Risk in Personal Lending
Kissík, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Fleischmann, Luboš (referee)
This thesis takes up the issue of consumer loans credit risk. It aims to identify factors that influence the likelihood of default during the repayment of bank retail products. Theoretical part is focused on the theory of bank loans, credit risk together with its regulation within the Basel guidelines and a description of the most commonly used statistical methods for the creation of scoring models. In the practical part, logistic regression parameter estimates are used on real set, the main features linking loans in default are examined and their impact on the proportion of bad loans in the portfolio is measured.
Analysis of the approaches of Central and Eastern European countries towards their membership in the Banking union
Samuelis, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Fleischmann, Luboš (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to analyze the approaches of countries in Central and Eastern European region towards their membership in the Banking Union. The selected topic has been investigated based on structural characteristics of the banking sectors of the impacted countries. The comparison of these characteristics resulted in identification of inconsistencies between the 2 standpoints (Opt-in and Opt-out). The thesis monitors the motivation of banks in choosing or changing the legal form of 'their' banks in host markets. The work identifies areas in which the host government can act to prevent banks from converting into branches, thus retaining the regulatory powers in local authorities. The thesis in the first 2 chapters maps the first and the second pillar of the Banking Union, Single Supervisory Mechanism and the Single Resolution Mechanism respectively. Furthermore, it summarizes the results of the European Central Bank in carrying out the Comprehensive Assessment exercise.
