The Project of Religionistic Reinterpretation of Christian Origins in Dialogue with the New Testament Studies
Dostál, Martin ; Hošek, Pavel (advisor) ; Papoušek, Dalibor (referee) ; Pokorný, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with "The Christian Origins Project" proposed by Burton L. Mack in 1995 and supported by other scientists. The Project strongly criticises the traditional picture of Christian origins in the New Testament studies and calls upon rewriting Christian origins with the help of "a new hermeneutic". At the same time it offers a fresh and authentic view on the social history of the early Christianity based on a detailed study of the early Christian documents including non-canonical writings and brings an alternative picture of Christian origins that includes the Cynic hypothesis and also analysis of the Christian myth. The Project integrates the perspectives of religious studies and sociology and formulates a social theory of religion and myth. The thesis which incorporates a critique of the project and points to its context aims to answer the question whether the Christian Origins Project provides a space for a dialogue with the New Testament studies. It also wants to consider the relationship between religious studies and theology. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

City Traffic Simulator
Dostál, Martin ; Dalecký, Štěpán (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on microsimulation of city traffic, specifically a small city circuit in Brno. The thesis describes approaches for solving the problem of road network representation and presents basic methods and models needed for traffic simulation on the level of individual vehicles control as well as on the level of simulator control. In the case of more possible solutions to the given problem, the features and suitability of these solutions are compared. In the practical part of the thesis, the structure of the proposed simulator is presented with all the dependencies among individual submodels, along with the description of implementation details related to the individual parts.
Dimensioning of Overhead Line Conductors According to ČSN EN 50341 and ČSN EN 50423
Dostál, Martin ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Orságová, Jaroslava (advisor)
Overhead line must be designed to be able to resist variety of influences. These influences are mechanical, which are caused by wind and rime during the normal conditions and electrical influences. Therefore all parts of overhead line have to be designed and built to withstand mechanical and electrical stress. This bachelor’s thesis is focused mainly on electrical parameters of overhead line, climatic stress and calculation of mechanical stress during limit states. There are described formulas and steps of calculation of line straining MV and HV and there are also described examples of calculation in detail.
Hiding Moving Objects in Video Sequences
Dostál, Martin ; Zahrádka, Jiří (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Hiding moving objects in video sequences is an interesting topic in computer vision. In this thesis, a real-time single object tracking and removal method is proposed. An input video is assumed to be captured with static video camera. Motion detection is based on a background subtraction using Mixture of Gaussians as the representation of background. The object tracking is realized by a combination of blobs comparison and computation of optical flow using Lucas-Kanade method. Consequent object removal makes use of created background model.
Wavelet Transform in Image Processing
Dostál, Martin ; Klíma, Ondřej (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
The wavelet transform has been used for several decades and it is still an object of research - especially its recent modifications which are using the so-called second generation wavelets. It has several advantages over other integral transformations. The most important of them are the ability to localize both in time and frequency and an ability to decorrelate some real non-stationary signals such as images. For this reasons, the wavelet transform became an often used tool in many image processing tasks, for example in image compression, edge detection or contrast enhancement. In this thesis, the wavelet transform is explained, including the theoretical foundation and implementation for use with two-dimensional discrete signals. Some of the applications of the wavelet transform are presented and described. The wavelet transform showed to be suitable tool for edge detection, noise reduction, contrast enhancement and HDR compression.
Rationalization of production technology body
Dostál, Martin ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
In the introductory part of the thesis, there is a description of machining technologies used in the production of body. This is followed by a detailed analyse of the current technology of production of this component with an emphasis on finding its problematic parts, including a proposal of the options of the rationalization. After the methods of rationalization assesment, a new technological process was developed and the alternative tools were proposed. Considerable time and money savings were achieved by this rationalization. In the discussion section, there were designed some options of solving problems arising during the installation of this rationalization into working.
Diagnosis of mechanical vibrations in asynchronous motor origin
Dostál, Martin ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
Every machine needs to be maintained and controlled, if may work reliably during they service life. Big part of service life of expensive machines are those machines in operation. Vibration diagnostics is type of analysis, that doesn’t need removal of rotation machinery. The vibration, that are created by running machinery, are used as source of information about mode of operation. This master’s thesis contains theoretical analysis of vibration diagnostics and vibration measurements of a particular machine. This thesis contains 3D models of bearings and rotor asynchronous machine, which are created by software Autodesk Inventor 2014. Bearings vibration analysis of this models is performed by software Ansys Workbench.
