Upgrading of Prostějov hl.n. Railway Station
Raif, Lukáš ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is the reconstruction of Prostějov hl. n. railway station. The platforms with access persons with reduced mobility are designed in this station. The rail substructure and station drainage system design was necessary to do within the reconstruction. New assembly of a switches and crossing is the part of reconstruction design as well.

Methodology for designing the dead end tracks
Guziur, Petr ; Týfa,, Lukáš (referee) ; Kohout,, Martin (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
This work aim is designing of dead-end tracks with focus mainly on the friction buffer stop design. There are numerous factors in decision-making process of ending the dead-end track, such as position of the track in station, level of train control system, area capabilities, number and types of trains that regularly run on the track, etc. The recherche part of this work shows that friction buffer stop is the most suitable construction and preferred type of ending the dead-end track abroad. This is the reason for paying attention to that type of buffer stop with emphasis on the process of design itself. This work includes design of a program using a spreadsheet editor and Visual basic to make the design of friction buffer stop easier. There are described selected factors with highest impact on the design.

Quality of The Track Geometry Progress
Peňázová, Gabriela ; Volejník, Miloslav (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the development of track geometry over the course of time. The first part describes current system of measuring and evaluating of track geometry. The second part uses the described system on the specified track section of the double-track line Hodonín-Rohatec. The measured data provided by SŽDC are evaluated and compared with the track maintenance work. For the chosen sections the exponential and linear functions for the development of longitudinal elevation were established and we judge the possibility of using them for the prediction of track quality development.

Upgrading of Jeseník Railway Station
Francová, Aneta ; Sobotka, Lukáš (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The master thesis "Upgrading of Jeseník Railway Stations" deals with designing new platform that is suitable for people with reduced mobility in accordance with applicable laws and standards. Platform with the platform edge height of 550 millimetres above the top of rail were designed. The speed limit was increased. Moreover, the thesis design reconstruction of railway superstructure and railway substructure and deal with the drainage system.

Railway Tracks Possessions
Gelová, Zuzana ; Hoza, Miroslav (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis deals with the costs quantification analysis of a particular track possession according to the New methodology. This thesis focuses to quantify costs of replacement transport, to analyse the influence of the track possession to surroundings and to analyse other factors. The first chapter describes the area of railway transport, in particular the concepts and laws concerning to railway track possessions. The second chapter describes the current situation, we learn about the regulations and procedures for the implementation of track possession according to SŽDC. The third chapter consists of goals of my thesis. The fourth chapter describes the principle of functioning of the New methodology. The fifth chapter consists of calculations and quantification of all alternatives of our track possession. The last chapter evaluates the cost results of all alternatives of our track possession. Summarized findings are used to define a better alternative of possession.

Comparison of Plain Line Tamping Methods
Bombera, Jan ; Hartmann, Miroslav (referee) ; Svoboda, Richard (advisor)
The diploma´s thesis deals with evaluation of adjusted track tamping technology and its comparison with currently used technology. This is based on track geometry parameters measuring and its vertical movement on the test section, which was created on double track Břeclav – Přerov near Rohatec station. On this test section one line was tamped with the currently used method within regular maintenance work and the second line was tamped with the adjusted technology. The technology modification is based on application of increased number of tamping tines squeezing strokes, which results in a creation of bigger and more compacted sleeper bed. The point of this thesis is to verify, that the speed of the track geometry parameters degradation is smaller in case of adjusted technology use. Thanks to that it would be possible to extend the maintenance cycles in case of compliance with track parameters maintenance limits and traffic safety.
