Cultural educational activities in libraries of Pilsener region

Bakalářská práce podává přehled o pořádání kulturně vzdělávacích aktivit v knihovnách Plzeňského kraje. Úvodní část je věnována definování klíčových pojmů. Zaměřuje se na systém knihoven ČR, jejich aktivity, komunitní roli a Plzeňský kraj. Druhá kapitola se zaobírá Studijní a vědeckou knihovnou v Plzni, její historií a funkcemi. Dvě služby jsou rozebrány podrobněji, vzdělávání pro knihovníky a výkon regionálních funkcí. Ve třetí části je vybráno deset knihoven Plzeňského kraje, u kterých je sledována jejich kulturně vzdělávací činnost. Následuje shrnutí vycházející ze statistik a informací poskytnutých samotnými knihovnami. V závěru jsou zmíněny výhody a nevýhody programů pro čtenáře a doporučení pro knihovny, jak se mohou vypořádat s ubývajícím zájmem, konkurenty a přizpůsobit se době.

Abstrakt Bakalářská práce se zabývá informačním chováním a informačními potřebami uživatelů Střediska vědeckých informací Ústavu organické chemie a biochemie AV ČR, v.v.i. Charakterizuje uvedenou instituci a Středisko vědeckých informací, analyzuje jejího uživatele, jeho informační chování, a popisuje vývoj práce s informacemi v konfrontaci se zaváděním informačních a komunikačních technologií. Součástí práce je také dotazníkové šetření zaměřené na identifikaci informačního chování uživatelů (jejich informační návyky: hlavní zdroje informací, frekvence užití zdrojů, využívání informačních služeb, správu kolekce článků, preference užití tištěných nebo elektronických materiálů apod.). Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaké je informační chování uživatelů a zda současné služby Střediska vědeckých informací korespondují s jejich informačním chováním a potřebami. Analysis of the project "Information system of basic registers" and its implementation

This diploma thesis deals with Information system of basic registries and its implementation. The information system consists of four main registries (Registry of Inhabitants, Registry of Persons, Registry of Territorial Identification, Addresses and Real Estates and Registry of Rights and Obligations) and system of ORG. The thesis defines crucial documents which deal with this project and the basic terms of Basic Registries Act No. 111/2009 Coll. and other related acts are explained. This thesis also compares the public administration before and after the activation of basic registries and the most important part is public survey which discovers knowledge about basic registries and responds to determined hypotheses.

The Municipal Library Benešov - library charged with execution of regional function

V úvodu jsou uvedeny zákony týkající se této problematiky. Ve druhé kapitole představuji město Benešov a Městskou knihovnu Benešov z pohledu minulosti, současnosti a budoucnosti. Ve třetí kapitole vysvětluji situaci výkonu regionálních služeb ve Středočeském kraji a uvádím činnosti regionálního centra Městské knihovny Benešova.Ve čtvrté kapitole jsou popsány jednotlivé programy podpory knihoven a různé projekty. V páté kapitole se jednotlivě věnuji profesionálním a neprofesionálním knihovnám.V závěru se zamýšlím nad případnými inovacemi v poskytování služeb obsluhovaným knihovnám. V příloze je seznam neprofesionálních knihoven, seznam webových stránek knihoven či jejich zřizovatelů a fotografie Městské knihovny Benešov.

Center for Scientific Information of the Psychiatric Center Prague - past, present, future

Práce popisuje více než pětapadesátiletý vývoj informačního střediska Výzkumného ústavu psychiatrického/Psychiatrického centra Praha/Národního ústavu duševního zdraví. Všímá si změn a posunů v oblasti prostorového a materiálového vybavení, personálního zajištění, činnosti knihovny, poskytovaných informačních služeb a dalších činností informačního střediska v jednotlivých dekádách vývoje. Na pozadí vývoje výzkumného programu instituce hledá zásadní milníky v rozvoji informačních služeb. V závěru navrhuje některé další směry činnosti, aby se středisko maximálně uplatnilo i v nových a aktuálně výrazně ekonomicky změněných podmínkách nové instituce - Národního ústavu duševního zdraví. Education of Librarians in the Central Bohemia Region

(in English) The aim of this thesis is to introduce the system of further professional education of librarians in Central Bohemian Region. After an introduction to the topic, a definition of legislative framework follows. The thesis also describes terminology including its development, the end of the chapter presents a list of possible funding means. The next section briefly describes the history of further professional education of librarians in Central Bohemian Region from 1960s to 2005. The main analytical section acquaints the reader in detail with contemporary educating schemes, their methods and forms in context of individual target groups and with particular topics, as well. This section works with the period between 2006 and 2012. Following section brings an outline of possible further education of librarians. It contemplates possible sources of important and essential topics. A survey between methodical workers has been chosen as a basis for determining possible future forms of professional education. The end of the thesis summarizes options as well as limitations of further professional education of library workers in Central Bohemian Region.

This semestral thesis deals with usage of design patterns in a network tool Netfox Detective. The thesis contains analysis and identification of issues regarding their implementation. Also, a description of writing unit tests for a part of application is present and its automation. This thesis describes Netfox Detective contribution process as well.

Interconnection of school libraries in teaching in secondary schools

This bachelor thesis brings a case study focusing on better integration of the activities of school libraries in an educational process and prepars a draft suggesting how to implement the knowledge in the area of Information and Library Studies into the framework education plan for high schools. The case study relates to the library of Gymnasium Přibram, Legionářů 402. The work has a theoretical part developing policies and work possibilities of school libraries within their schools. In the application Part it processes, implements, and evaluates the example lesson for the educational area Man and Society on the topic of information sources for historical seminary,citation ethics. It is the level of literacy of children on the basis of the findings of international surveys PISA and IALS. Analyzes technical, spatial and personal capacities involvement of school libraries in the education of students. Analysis framework educational plan for the student competence grammar sets that are consistent with the content of information literacy standards. Detects the status of the information needs of secondary school students based on analysis of information requests readers school library Gymnázia Pribram, Legionářů 402 in the years 2010 - 2015. Activities of the Public Library Varnsdorf in the area of The Lusatia culture

7 Abstract The bachelor theses deals with the cooperation of Lusatia and the Czech Republic. It focuses mainly on the cooperation of Lusatia and town of Varnsdorf and with the Varnsdorf public library. There is a brief description of Lusatia and Lusatian Sorbs. Then follows presentation of development of the cooperation of the Czech Republic and Lusatia, beginnings of the cooperation of Varnsdorf are mentioned as well as specific examples of activities and organizations. The bachelor theses focuses on activities of Varnsdorf public library which has long lasting history of cooperation with Lusatian Sorbs. Therefore a brief history of the library and description of its departments is a part of the theses. Next, the theses describes history and activities of the library concentrating on Lusatian Sorbs including three year project of the public library called "Varnsdorf public library - Meeting over the border ". For practical part of the theses was chosen questionnaire survey with two independent questionnaires, one for Varnsdorf library members and second for North Bohemian libraries members. Both questionnaires listed questions about the knowledge of Lusatia, Lusatian Sorbs and activities with lusatiasorbian topics.
