Bednář, František ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This work describes new standard 802.11n for wireless network. The work contains two parts: theoretical and practical. Theoretical knowledge and understanding our problems will be used in design and simulation wireless network. Theoretical part will discuss about function and methods, which the standard picking over from older standard 802.11a, 802.11g a about new features, that should raise transmission data rate and throughput on MAC sublayer dramatically. Data rate of networks based on standard 802.11n will be comparable with Ethernet networks. Main features that increase data rate on PHY layer is method of multiple antennas calls MIMO and use 40 Mhz channel. On MAC layer will be add frame aggregation that cause linear dependent of throughput on MAC layer and data rate on PHY layer. In practical part we will pay attention simulation of stream video high definition in wireless network. This part contain design and components configuration in network. We will be able to compare simulation results individual standards, by creation of several duplicate scenarios.
Real-time protocol implementation
Procházka, Jan ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Thesis deals with multicast broadcasts, discusses the type of ASM and SSM. Also deals with the principle of RTP / RTCP protocol for large multicast groups, for example, broadcasting IPTV. It was created a model for simulating the behavior of the network load in a large number of receivers. The application was developed in Java and uses the recommendations of RFC3550. There are also analysed processes of communication, initialization, log out, the structure of the data packets and signaling packets. The system is designed that can simulate multicast network and obtain the estimated parameters of the operation, or can operate in real traffic, for example, as a third-party monitor. In both modes, the measurement was carried out model situations. The results of the measurements were then compared. Principle and system control was described in detail. Output measurements are graphically processed and included in the work.
Mobile IPv6 handover analysis
Klügl, Richard ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on IP mobility support for mobile users and their devices in IPv6-based wireless networks. Then the Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) protocol was proposed for this purpose and that is also the main objective of the thesis. This consists of several basic sections and is organized as follows: The first one deals with the overview of the function of Mobile IP, which enables the mobility of nodes around the Internet, without a change of their original IP address. Moreover there are introduced the primary differences between MIPv6 and its previous version – i.e., MIPv4, proposed for IPv4-based environment. The second chapter of the master’s thesis thereafter describes detailed information about all the most important mechanisms and features of Mobile IPv6 and this way tries to explain principles of its functioning. Further the thesis analyses some of proposed MIPv6 extensions – i.e., Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6), Mobile IPv6 Fast Handover (FMIPv6) a Fast Handover for HMIPv6 (F-HMIPv6) protocols, and mainly aim at signaling process during the handover of a mobile node. In the last main section of the master’s thesis an analytical method to evaluate the performance of IPv6-based mobility management protocols was proposed. Subsequently, this method is applied on the protocols which were mentioned above and are studied the effects of various network parameters on the performance of these protocols.

Závodný, Ondřej ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
The content of this work is to research possibilities of simulation data networks in a simulating environment OMNeT++ with INET framework and at observance of standards 802.3 (ethernet) and 802.11 (Wi-Fi).\ In a given environment will be simulated handover in a Wi-Fi network and on the second layer of the reference model ISO/OSI. In this example will be processed visualization of the conditions and sending informations between network elements.\ In the next practical example will be simulated the operation on the application layer (video current, ftp communication) at using a relevant transport protocols (UDP,TCP). For routing between network elements will be utilized configuration files. By transport protocol UDP will be displayed a delay graph between final elements and jitter, by TCP protocol will be represented so-called three-way-handshake.

New Mobility Trends in Data Networks

SDL model for Source Specific Multicast
Záň, Stanislav ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with questions of IP net communication, with using metod Source-Specific Multicast. It focused on questions of registration, unregistration and administration of clients in multicast group and IGMP protocol, which is made for this communication. Work deals also about problems of signalization between source of data and clients of multicast group. In the introduction of this work questions of communications in multicast are analyse. I tis followed by the chapter focused on the specific metod of multicast – Source Specific Multicast (SSM). Next chapter is based on the protocols in SSM, which are used for distribution of data stream in source to clients direction and also in the reverse direction. The net chapter deals with signalization of communication in SSM. It specializes for reflection and summarization metods, which are used here. This chapter also shows basic matematics formules for sending signalization packets and proposes other solutions and ways for simplify communication and minimalize delay, which is for signallization very important. After that, the work deals with differences between these two metods of signalization. The aplicationis builded in practical part of work from the knowlidge of theory from previous chapters and it simulates the real communication between data source and clients situated to multicast group. This communication is explained in MSC diagrams. The aplication also simulates both used metods of signalization and real count of cients in multicast group. The results of simulation are interpreted in the last part of work.
