Design of stand for magnetic seal testing
Švec, Jaroslav ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of mounting board of stand for magnetic seal testing and with control of mounted asynchronous motor using inverter. In this thesis was done analysis of ways of controlling three-phase asynchronous motor with inverter, analysis of sensors for measuring testing conditions and analysis of modular aluminium profile systems. There was created three conceptions of mounting board from which the most suitable was chosen to be built. From ways of control was chosen the most convenient way. The result of this thesis is stand for magnetic seal testing, using which will be possible to gain new knowledge of magnetic sealing and its future use.
Design of the jig for an injection mold parts
Macháček, Ondřej ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Prokeš, František (advisor)
The basic aim of this bachelor’s thesis is design of jig for alignment position of an injection mold parts. Specifically it is used for production of plastic bearing cages, manufactured by INA LANŠKROUN Inc. The solution is based on the jig used today and tries to improve it. The essential outcome is complete design documentation.
Production technology of Magnetorheological fluids
Nováček, Vladislav ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis deals with the overview over the current knowledge at the field of magnetorheological (MR) fluids. It includes definition of basic characteristics of MR fluids and technological aspects in production of the most important particles and carrier fluids. The aim of the thesis is to describe technological methods used in MR fluids production that can be used for different purposes at BTU. Finally, the thesis tries to estimate possible ways in MR fluids development in the future.
Measurement of wear in shock absorber with magnetorheological fluid
Žáček, Jiří ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with measurement of abrasivity of magnetorheological fluids and its effect on hydraulic shock absorber. The abrasion could be measured and evaluated by many ways. The pin on block measurement method has been selected for this test. The pin was moving on a steel block while the whole system was surrounded by magnetorheological fluid. According to results, the lifetime of magnetorheological shock absorber is 4 times shorter than classical damper. Results of this thesis could be helpful in damper construction or in development of new magnetorheological fluids.
Optimisation of gear ratio for racing cars
Bém, Pavel ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
Pavel BÉM Optimisation of Gear Ratio for Race Cars DW, IAE, 2008, pp. 62, fig. 69. At first I labellig problems about gearboxes than, I review dataloggers for racing cars using now. I create model of dynamic simulating car move during at akcelerating and decelerating on choice track. I create program analyzating data from telemetry and applicated dynamic model to optimisation gears ratio.
Axle assessment using the EUSAMA methodology
Vítek, Lukáš ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachaleor thesis deals with optimalization of axle assessment. The introduction is directed to description shock absorber, non-assembling diagnostics and dynamics of vehicles. The automotive suspension is meant to provide comfort and mainly safety for the passengers. Because shock absorber are stressed, it must be controled. The most important kind of non-assembling diagnostics for this thesis is EUSAMA methodology. All measurement are realized with resonant adhesive tester, which is named TriTec. This device is structural simpler, then other one.
Design of dual-chamber pneumatic spring
Pantůček, Michal ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Macháček, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis is engaged in the design of a pneumatic spring which will be useful for a design of a strut intended for cosmic applications. The design will be supported with an analytic calculation which to be subsequently verified by means of experiments, however, those reach beyond the scope of this thesis. The spring will be a part of a strut with adjustable shock damping. For this reason it is desirable for the spring to have the lowest passive resistances occurring mainly during sealing mutually moving parts. For the spring they are the piston, the piston rod and the cylinder. On the theoretical level the thesis should explore the possibility of replacing conventional sealings by unconventional ones and possibly determine the influence upon dynamical behaviour of the spring where the piston would not be sealed at all.
Test of remanency in a sport damper in dependence on a material of magnetic circuit
Polášek, Jan ; Kubík, Michal (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with testing of maximal magnetic induction, remanence and B-H curve of different kinds of steels and application of this knowledge when choosing materials for magnetic circuit of magnetorheological (MR) dampers. The introduction of the thesis is intended to analyse knowledge of magnetorheological fluids and magnetic characteristics of different kinds of materials. Another part of bachelor’s thesis deals with the choice of steels of different chemical composition, heat treatment of steel, testing and comparing with FEM results. The aim of the thesis is also to design a clamping device for testing of magnetic circuit and to describe used measuring instruments and measurement methodology too.
Experimental determination of the response time of MR damper with modified piston group
Kučera, Petr ; Roupec, Jakub (referee) ; Strecker, Zbyněk (advisor)
This work is dedicated to measuring of response time of magnetorheological damper. Introduction part includes description of present used conceptions of passive dampers that are basis for MR dampers. This part also includes description of limits of MR damper. First part of experiment contains measuring of magnetic induction on air. Second part includes measuring of response time of force using hydraulic pulsator.
The study of sedimentation of MR fluids for space applications
Vančurová, Martina ; Strecker, Zbyněk (referee) ; Roupec, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with experimental determination of the effect of iron particle size on the sedimentation rate of magnetorheological (MR) fluids. MR fluids from three producers are examined here: Liquids Research Limited (Great Britain), HaoHua (China) a LORD Corporation (USA). Particles describing the effect of MR fluids’ different attributes on their sedimentation are summarized in an overview of current knowledge. The development of the Matlab script, that detects and measures the size of particles in the input electron microscope images, is presented. The particles are also measured manually in some images, which is partly used as a reference measurement for the developed script. The particle size measurement results are then compared with the sedimentation behavior of examined MR fluids.
