Correction of flatheads on the example of child ice hockey

Title: Correction of flat- bed on example of children's ice hockey Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine whether and how the flat-foot affects the performance of the individual (speed and style of skating) and how the correction works (application of thermoplastic insole and tape). The issue of flat feet in sports can be related to other issues of the musculoskeletal system and the associated injuries. Therefore, if the correction proves that has a positive effect, it will prevent further damage during the load in this sport. Methods: It is going to be an empirical-theoretical study with an experiment. The probands (research participants) will be first examined on a podoscope. During the examination, photo documentation of the dorsal foot load with focus on the Achilles tendon line will be taken. In addition, will be made to plantogram to each participant, followed by a diagnosis of flat feet. Finally, I will examine the foot pressure load with an F-scan in regular shoes, ice skates and ice skates with a correction aid (tape). Subsequently, I compare the load rate without and with the correction aid in the ice skate, and assess whether and how (with respect to performance) the correction aid aids in optimum foot pressure distribution or increase individual performance. 5 Abstrakt: Cílem této bakalářské práce je u vybraných jedinců s jednostrannou transfemorální amputací analyzovat možnosti ovlivnění zaměstnání. Práce byla vedena jako pilotní sociologický průzkum a empirická rešerše. Z hlediska metodologického jde o sběr dat formou řízeného rozhovoru. V teoretické části se zabývá empirickými studiemi a definicemi amputací, protetiky a pracovní legislativy. Výzkum je zaměřen na kvalitu návratu do zaměstnání, dobu od amputace, přizpůsobení pracoviště, aspekty přispívající k lepšímu návratu, dopad na kvalitu práce z fyzického i psychického hlediska. Zdali jde o stejný post, nebo o změnu pracovního zařazení, popř. změna zaměstnání aj. Klíčová slova: protetika, dolní končetina, amputace, pracovní uplatnění tělesně postižených. Title: Metofology of gait school of a patient with transfemoral amputation Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to give a comprehensive overview of methodology of the gait school from the prosthetic and rehabilitation care perspective of patient with transfemoral amputation. Methods: A qualitative research was used together with method of data collection, informal interview with an expert and observation of therapy. Results: The methodology of gait school is necessary for proper use and wearing prosthetic device. It positively influences the life of a patient with a transfemoral amputation. in conclusion of this thesis is proven the crucial importance of early starting with the methodology of gait school as soon as possible is important for quickly return to normal life. Prosthesis for high amputation of geriatric patients

Title: Prosthesis for high amputation at geriatric patients Objectives: The aim of this work is to prove the importance of prosthetic device at geriatric pacients after amputation of the femoral part and comparison with functionality of knee joints at primary prosthesis, which can be applied according to the activity and financial possibili- ties of insurance companies in Czech Republic. Methods: For this pilot qualitative research will be applied empirical method and the use of controlled structured interview in probands with amputation in the thigh area. Results: After the amputation of femoral part, geriatric patients have got the opportunity for neces- sary prosthetic equipment and compensatory aid financially limited by the insurance com- panies. To live a full life, they are equipped with primary prosthesis, it is covered by insur- ance company and they can purchase the wheelchair from their own resources. Methods: It will be a pilot qualitative research, where it will be applied empirical method using Rize Joint-structured interviews with subjects after stroke. Results: Persons after stroke are equipped with a serial orthotic devices in the full-payment of healthcare insurance. Companies with these tools are adequately represented on the Czech market. Title: The frequency and possible solutions of amputations of lower limb. Goals:To give an overview of causes and types of amputations. To evaluate the number of performed amputations that are based on data from. To demonstrate and evaluate possible solutions of prosthetic equipment for patients with different causes of amputations of lower limbs. Methods: The basis of a theoretical part is a literature review. The data are processed into graphs in a practical part. Case reports are created according to an expert consultation with a prosthodontist. Results: An increase of amputations of lower limb is obvious from the graphs, especialy in case of the patiens sufering from diabetes mellitus. On the other hand, the number of patients with amputations as a result of a traumatic event is decreasing.
