Emulation of Memory Subsystems in Multiprocessor Environment
Rajčok, Andrej ; Husár, Adam (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
This study cover problem of design of emulation platform for multiprocesors systems. This study discuss problem of multiprocessor communication, it discuss different kind of communication systems for multiprocesor communication and protocols for data coherency. One of the solutions is picked, and the design is made and implemented into integrated design enviroment. In the end, study analyze created emulation system with focus on performance and memory load.
Extension of Generic Debugger of the Lissom Project
Hons, Petr ; Husár, Adam (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with an introduction to debugging and debuggers. The thesis describes principles of the debugging information, especially the DWARF format and its Call Frame Information (CFI), that enables a debugger to visualize the call stack. Furthermore, extensions of the debugger used in the Lissom project were designed and implemented. These extensions added support for call stack visualization, history value storage and step return and step over commands.
Demonstration Program of Searching of String in Text
Šatka, Petr ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
My work deals with the problems of strings searching algorithms. The objective of this work is to create a program for demonstration of the strings searching algorithms described in the mimeographed for course Algorithms. The algorithms are demonstrated by the animations.
CodAL Language Editor in Eclipse Framework
Hynek, Jiří ; Dolíhal, Luděk (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Master thesis is focused on creation of an editor of CodAL language for the development toolkit of the project Lissom which is based on Eclipse framework. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the problem of editor creation and the features in existing editors which add some value to their usability. The outline of parser creation and subsequent code analysis of the source codes written into the editor is described in the theoretical part. It also explains the syntax and semantic aspects of the CodAL language. In the practical part the new CodAL language editor is designed and developed. The new CodAL language editor integrated into the development toolkit of the project Lissom is the final outcome of this thesis.
Analysis of the Possibility of Password Break through for RAR, ZIP and 7z Formats
Prustoměrský, Milan ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This Thesis deals with analysis of the possiblity of password breakthrough for common compression formats and password extraction from self-extraction archives used for malicious software. Structure of compression programs, ciphers and connection between cipher and archives is described. Common and specialized attacks on archives and ciphers are described. Structure of self-extracting archives and password location is used to create extractor of passwords in self-extracting archives.
Influence of detergents on the accelarated lifetime tests of PE pipes grades.
Štolfová, Kristýna ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Nezbedová, Eva (advisor)
This thesis studies the lifetime of the PE pipes materials. For determination of the lifetime one of the standard accelerated tests (Full Notch Creep test) was used. The main goal is to assess the influence of different types of detergents on lifetime. Specimen preparation and measurement procedure corresponding to the relevant ISO standard (ISO 16770: Plastics - Determination of environmental stress cracking (ESC) of Polyethylene (PE) - Full Notch Creep Test (FNCT)). Air, distilled water, Arkopal N 090 and Arkopal N 110 were used as detergents.
Transformation of a Processor Description in CodAL to SystemC Structures
Ondruš, Tomáš ; Hynek, Jiří (referee) ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a generator of simulators and hardware representation of application specific processors in a SystemC language. An aim of the first part is to create a wrapper layer compatible with SystemC TLM 2.0 that wraps an existing simulator to avail modeling of transaction oriented systems. The second part is a generator of a hardware representation for the processor that is suitable not only for logical synthesis, but also for the simulation on a cycle accurate level. A final result is a state of the art solution comparable to existing generators.
Usage of a DWARF Format in Debugger for Generic Microprocessor Simulators
Janečka, Pavel ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
This paper gives basic introduction to source-level debugging, DWARF debugging information format and it is possible applications. Further it presents the Lissom project to the reader. The goal of this paper was also to draw on gained knowledge in order to extend Lissom's debugger.
Automated Testing in FPGA
Valecký, David ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to analyze the testing of processors developed by Codasip and find out which of the tests should be performed using FPGA devices. Furthermore, the goal is to design and implement a system for remote operation of FPGA devices connected to a central server in order to perform tests. The system is programmed in Python using the client-server architecture and Flask framework. The interaction of the server with the FPGA devices is ensured with the help of OpenOCD. The implemented system allows a~user to find out the status of connected FPGA circuits, configure these devices and then use them to run tests. The work uses FPGAs Artix-7 series made by Xilinx, placed on Digilent Nexys A7 development boards. The resulting testing of programmed chips in an FPGA representing a microprocessor is accelerated when using an FPGA device. Its results are faster on hardware representation than on its simulation in some cases.
Utilization of Linux Containers for HW/SW Co-Design
Juřica, Jiří ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Hruška, Tomáš (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis a way of replacement standard virtual machines by Linux containers is described. The goal is to create a~fully working system for performing parallel jobs with prepared environments for software build and test purposes. For containerization the Docker platform was chosen, which is used with automation tool for computers preparation. The system is also connected with continuous integration tool called Jenkins. This solution proves that usage of the Linux containers is more efficient than older virtualization technologies. The due time of each job was shortened about 24 % in average. The main benefits of this thesis is the comparison of two ways of virtualization and the introduction to the Docker technology.
