Žohová, Magdalena ; Lovaš, Karol (advisor) ; Novotný, David Jan (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the historically significant castle of Topoľčianky and its surroundings. In the form of a radio podcast, the author presents a comprehensive information package that introduces the castle and its surroundings from a historical perspective and offers interviews with historians and locals. The podcast form in this case incorporates several well-known and defined radio genres. It combines elements of the classic interview, documentary, but also reportage. Listeners of the practical output (podcast) should learn a lot of summarized information about the historically significant place used by former rulers and presidents, led by Tomas Garrigue Masaryk, as their summer residence. The result of the work should therefore be a mapping of the site in a varied and attractive, yet informative form.

Protasevičová, Alexandra ; Novotný, David Jan (advisor) ; Čeňková, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with a comparison and compilation of the media response to the various versions of Karel Jaromír Erben's The Bouquet. The subject of comparison is the multiple reviews, starting with those published in the press immediately after the first historical publication of the poetry collection, followed by the reaction to the theatrical production at the Semafor theatre in 1972, to the reactions to the more modern adaptation in 2009. The theatrical production at the National Theatre, which premiered in 2019, was chosen for a further appropriate comparison. The thesis also focuses on film production, specifically Bouquet, directed by F. A. Brabec from 2000. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question of how the different versions of Erben's Bouquet differ, and what causes the significant differences. Another question is why artists feel the need to return to the work and reinterpret the story according to them. Minkovová, Beatriz ; Novotný, David Jan (advisor) ; Štoll, Martin (referee)
Forests form an integral part of both the natural and cultural wealth of the Czech Republic. Similar to other countries, these forests are also plagued by various calamities. Various actors comment on these calamities in the media, between whom conflict sometimes arises due to conflicting opinions, attitudes, interests or experiences. It is media conflicts in the issue of calamities in Czech forests that are the subject of this diploma thesis. The introduction is followed by a theoretical part presenting the main concepts of the work, which are forests and harmful agents that cause forest calamities. Since conflicts between actors often have a legal character, the theoretical part describes the legal regulation regarding forests in the Czech Republic. The next part is the methodological part, in which the research questions are defined, which consist in determining the main conflicts, groups of actors and the specification of forests and forest disasters. Quantitative content analysis was chosen to find the answers to the set research questions. The methodological part is followed by the practical part, in which the data is analyzed and the answers are explained. The results are then summarized in the conclusion of the work. Keywords forest, calamity, conflict, actors
