Translating drama: influence of the theatrical potential of drama on translating with examples on plays by J.N. Nestroy

The objective of this paper is to identify the main specifics of dramatic text that play a decisive role for the text's transformation through translation. Our approach was informed by the assumption that dramatic text is already intended to undergo a further (theatrical) transformation. Also, we chose not to reflect extreme cases of stage productions such as mime theatre, dance theatre, etc. Given the scope and intent of this paper, it proved impossible to exhaust this very broad topic in all its aspects comprehensively; we have therefore strived to draw attention to key issues which must be considered when translating dramatic texts. We focused primarily on non-verbal cues contained in dramatic text. The theoretical part of this work is devoted to the category of the "theatrical potential" that is inherent in dramatic texts, its possible sources, and the theatrical code. We concluded that the dramatic text does not merely contain one single possible staging solution, but that the text allows for several interpretations, and thus for several ways in which to perform it. At the same time, we found that non-verbal elements are not contained directly in the text, whose material is solely linguistic code, but that the text gives rise to them. Diplomová práce Resumé ____________________________________________________________________________ Legal status of a surety in tax proceedings Resume This paper deals with the legal status of a surety pursuant to the Tax and Fee Administration Act and to the applicable Code of Tax Procedure not effective yet. It is generally known that the procedural legal status of a surety in tax proceedings has always been one of the problematic topics for tax administration. It was covered by Section 57, Subs. 5 of Tax and Fee Administration Act No. 337/1992 Coll. as amended, by one paragraph only, which resulted in many disputes, discussions, and last but not least, civil proceedings. This was mostly caused by the fact that standing surety for someone, being one of the securities provided, was ranked in section six, called "Tax payment"; however, a surety had never been explicitly stated in legal provisions which related to its legal status. The judicature had always characterised only a principal, not a surety. The surety was explicitly mentioned in the provisions of S. 7, Subs. 2 ZSDP, in which it was ranked as a party to tax proceedings. The Role of the Configuration of Objects When Determining Their Number

The diploma thesis is based on the bachelor thesis "Individual déviations in the perception of configurations of objects when detennining their number". The diploma thesis deals with the role played by configurations in pre-school age, i.e. how children create such configurations. Subject to monitoring were configurations of six small spot. The manner of creating the configurations was left to the children. The theoretical part focuses mainly on the évolution of cognitive processes and on the création of concept-fonning process relating to numerals in the case of pre-school children. The theoretical part is followed by a description of an experiment conducted on two samples of 99 five- to six-year children. The diploma thesis not only defines configurations, but also reveals the création stratégies and relates the children's work with the concept-forming process of number 6. Tourism and Terrorism

The main objective of this study is to describe the changes that tourism industry has made because of the terrorist activities around the world. Further to study impacts that terrorist attacks have had on tourism and try to find a possibility how to prevent and minimize the negative impacts of terrorism. The study method is bibliographic search of literature and internet sources. Egypt has been chosen as a case study because in this country there are big impacts of terrorism on tourism industry. The study higlights the main motivation factors that affect tourists when they choose their holiday destination. It indicates that tourism is highly resistant industry. Didactic games and their inclusion to physics teaching at basic school

This thesis is focused on the inclusion of educational games in teaching physics at the elementary schools. The work aims to create a set of educational games for teaching physics at the elementary school. The theoretical part analyzes the theory of didactic games and use of games in education, increasing motivation among pupils. Further the theoretical part consists of an analysis of the selected thematic unit "substances and bodies". The practical part consists of a set of my own didactic games. Created didactic games can serve mainly for practicing, repetition and consolidation of curriculum and are designed to develop the selected key competencies to stimulate the innate playfulness and creativity of students. They also provide feedback on students' knowledge. It is possible to include games into the teaching in the form of competitions of individuals, couples or groups of pupils. Didactic games' benefits were verified in tests. Evaluation and results of these tests are elaborated at the end of this work.

Effect of Act on assistance in material poverty and the beneficiary of assistance in material need to Dačice and Slavonice

The thesis is focused on the modification of the law of help in a material poverty, issued in January 2012. The research of the thesis is concerned with the effect of the modification on beneficiaries of the help in a material poverty. The theoretical part is focused on social benefits firstly according to law of social need and afterwards according to law of help in a material poverty. There are introduce basic concepts as material poverty, persons in a material poverty, persons considered together, incomes, subsistence level and existential minimum. Particular benefits are described in detail benefit for living, housing benefit, extraordinary immediate help. The practical part is focused on the most important modifications of the law. They are briefly described, analysed and on the particular example is explained what the modification meant for a client.

Study of microscopic fungi in Zbrašov Aragonite Caves

The first study of microscopic fungi in the Zbrašov Aragonite Caves was focused on microfungal outbreak of aragonite surfaces. Recently, the investigations were focused on the comparison of microfungal occurrence in sites with various CO.sub.2./sub. concentration and in the terms of monitoring of microscopic fungi in all show caves of the Czech Republic. Since 2009, microscopic fungi were regularly studied in cave air and sediments, species diversity and CFU counts were estimated in both substrates. Very interesting microfungal spectrum including a novel species of the genus .i.Aspergillus./i. (.i.A. "pseudoinsuetus"./i.) as well as interesting records about quantitative microfungal occurrence were found.
