Foreign direct investments and its Impact on Unemployment – Case Study of Libya
Eldeeb, Osama Ali ; Maitah, Mansoor (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
Developing countries need to develop their economies and one of the most important issues related to this development is capital accumulation. Capital accumulation is no longer an easy task even for developed countries. Developing Countries have many difficulties with income generation and employment creation. There are two ways how to solve such crucial issues, even borrow finance which is expensive way or attract foreign direct investments. The new Libyan government declared its intention to develop the economy and involve it in the international economy in order to reach entire economic development. This thesis examines and explores the Libyan doing business conditions in relation to foreign direct investments in all economic sectors. The most important task of this thesis is to quantify the inflow of foreign direct investments and its impact on employment in Libya, their impact on economic growth and the impact of foreign direct investments on exports volumes. The thesis will attempt to evaluate the benefits of foreign direct investments to Libyan economy. The research examines whether they bring benefits such as the transfer of know-how, the transfer of new technologies, the introduction of new procedures and the improvement of labor force. In addition the research attempts to evaluate whether Libyan business environment is appropriate to attract foreign direct investments. The thesis conclusions will contain recommendations regarding the implemented policies and procedures which can be beneficial in improving the business environment which enables the attraction of additional foreign direct investments. The main aim of this thesis is to examine the impact of foreign direct investments on employment in Libya and to fulfill this aim there is a need to identify the main determinants that determine the evolution of employment and jobs creation in Libyan economy. Based on these calculations and conclusions of the research, certain economic measures and recommendations will be suggested. The contribution of the dissertation should therefore be based on econometric techniques that we will be able to discover the scope and potential opportunities for economic and employment policies in Libya. The study also revealed that there are many challenges facing policy makers in order to reform the business environment to make it more attractive for foreign direct investments.
Optimization and application of in vitro techniques in selected members of the family Brassicaceae
Hilgert-Delgado, Alois Antonín ; Fernández Cusimamani, Eloy (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
This thesis is focused on the application and optimization of biotechnological methods within the family Brassicaceae. Most of this thesis is focused specifically the genus Brassica. The main objective of this dissertation thesis was to optimize and apply selected biotechnological methods in the resynthesis of oilseed rape (B. napus) from its baseline species (B. oleracea, CC and B. rapa, AA) and subsequently create valuable genetic plant materials. The optimized procedure implemented in my work have exhibited better results of hybrid production (resynthesis) than in similar published experiments and provides a simplified and less laborious method via simple ovule culture and early hybrid verification. The next accomplished step was to work with a wider range of materials using a broader source of different and contrasting genotypes from Brassica rapa (spring and winter oilseed and vegetable turnips) and B. oleracea (green and purple curly kales and cabbages) for new combinations and wider genetic diversity. It was concluded that the optimized ovule culture protocol with early verification, developed in the framework of this thesis, is satisfactorily sufficient enough to be applicable in breeding programmes, aimed at diversity expansion of winter oilseed rape gene pool, as the resynthesized embryos were derived in most combinations. New resynthesized verified lines were colchicine treated in order to obtain diploid regenerants and the fertile plants were self-pollinized and crossed with elite oilseed rape lines for further research and breeding.

Burnout syndrome in teachers population
Vilčková, Stanislava ; Hanušová, Marie (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the problem of burnout syndrom of teachers on secondary schools. The aim of this thesis was find out dependence of burnout syndrome on several factors, they are the age, the pedagogic practice, the type of secondary school, the number of pupils in the class and the number of pupils with special educational needs in class. It was used questionnaire method and individual talks with teachers on secondary schools for findings of experimental aids. Resultes shew, that measure of burnout syndrome don´t depends of age nor on longitude pedagogic practice, while number of pupils depends. Influence of number of pupils with special educational needs wasn´t evidenced. The reason was low number of respondents which haven´t this pupils in the class. Burnout syndrome arise on long term stress and presence is very individual for each teacher. There aren´t guaranteed methods how to stop development of this syndrome. Tolerance depends on several factors which are personal charakteristics, skills manage of stress, influence environs, type of profession. Preventive step is to be well- informed about burnout syndrome and know how it rise and which are it´s phases.
Applying elements of ethics education in the practical training
Stryjová, Jolanta ; Hanušová, Marie (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
This thesis titled Applying elements of ethics education in the practical training analyses current situation of implementing and incorporating Ethnics into secondary school education system in the Czech Republic, as well as an overall morale of secondary school pupils. This thesis applies (quantitative/ qualitative) methodology, using questionnaires as a primary source of data. Key findings reveal low ethical awareness and passivity among pupils towards the society as well as their own future as a consequence of insufficient incorporation of Ethics in secondary school curricula. Therefore, this thesis argues that that teachers' knowledge of Ethnics should be increased along with the number of teaching hours dedicated to Ethnics and, what is more, to incorporate Ethnics as a core module in secondary schools.

Morphological variability of birch genus (Betula L.) in chosen regions of the Czech Republic with a focus on tetraploid taxa
Linda, Rostislav ; Kuneš, Ivan (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
The aim of this work is to propose reliable method for distinguishing between diploid (2n) and tetraploid (4n) taxa of the genus Betula L., based on leaf measurements. These measurements are realized by common tools, such as ruler or protractor. Main advantage of these methods is that they can be applied even in the field. The further aim of work is to describe and evaluate genetic variability within tetraploid taxa, whose taxonomic relationships are still unclear and under discussions. For statistical analysis, 97 individuals from 6 localities within Šumava region were selected and 4 leaves from every individual were analysed. In total, 20 parameters were measured on every leaf (16 quantitative and 4 qualitative). Each individual was also analysed by flow cytometry method to determine real genome size (ploidy). Differences in selected parameters between individuals with different ploidy were statistically tested. Significant results were observed in 12 of 16 quantitative and 2 of 4 qualitative parameters. For real ploidy prediction, the classification function was designed, whose reliability was 96 % for the primary data. The reliability of classification function was verified on samples from three different regions within the Czech Republic and compared with functions suggested by other authors. Function designed in this work was able to correctly determine real ploidy in 89 %, which is the most of all compared functions. Genetic variability, especially within tetraploid taxa is mentioned in relation to other author's previous studies. Distinguishing between B. pubescens and B. carpatica was not possible using selected genetic markers. Genetic conformity of these taxa is also mentioned in publications of foreign authors, as contrasted to Czech literature, which generally distinguishes B. pubescens and B. carpatica as separated species.
Marriage and divorce rates in the Czech Republic and the importance of marriage in the concept of Czech public
Hrabáková, Kateřina ; Procházková, Radka (advisor) ; Jana, Jana (referee)
The thesis is focused on the analysis of the demoraphic indicators marriage and divorce rate in years 2000 to 2014. Then the analysis is focused on qualitative characteristics in connection with the problem. The first half of the work explains the theoretical concepts and metodological part. The second part is then focused on the actual analysis of selected indicators and the analysis of the qualitative characteristics. The analysis shows that the nuptiality and divorce rate have declaining trend of development. In case of nuptiality the lowest values in Czech republic were recorded in 2013, most marriages were then concluded in 2000. The divorce rate recorded the highest decline in 2012, while the most marriages were divorced in 2004. Qualitative analysis shows that the persons who want to get married the most in the future are single persons. The most negative responses were recorded for persons widowed and divorced. The most common reason for marriage is starting a family and children.
