Exeiting Situations in the Life of Afghan Refugees in the Czech Republic
Jenková, Pavla ; Hubertová, Lucie (advisor) ; Martinek, Jan (referee)
The thesis is titled "Exciting situations in the Life of afghan Refugees in Czech Republic". The main objective of the theoretical part is to present the "exciting situations" with which the Afghan Refugees are in confrontation (in their homeland, during their travel to the host country, in Czech Republic during the Asylum process, and in the Czech society) and the consequences of these situations on the psychosocial environment of the refugees. In the practical part, a questionnaire'based research is presented. This is focused on the "exciting situations" of the informants - the Afghan refugees, living in Czech Republic. The research has practically confirmed the theoretical part concerned with these "exciting situations". The end of the research is focused on comparing two studies on "exciting situations" - Iraqi refugees and Afghani ones; are there any similarities between the refugees of these two different countries? Or on contrary, differences lie ahead? The research has included so small sample of informants that it cannot be used as an objective resource. It is created to be an example to reflex and support the theoretical part of the work, and to be a theme of better understanding and introduction of the presented issues. Gender Stereotypes in Czech School Books
Teoretická část pojednává o socializaci dětí a vrůstání do rodových rolí. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Hozáková, Hana ; Vorlová, Marie (advisor) ; Hubertová, Lucie (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is based upon the synthesis of my own findings and experience with working with the children of migrants. It results from my three-year involvement in Berkat Civil Society Organization activities. In the first part of my thesis I focus on introduction of the issues related to migrants in the Czech Republic. I address particularly the integrative process and the institutions that play important role in inclusion of foreigners into society. In subsequent chapters I investigate primarily the lives of children of migrants in schools and families as well as their mental troubles I encounter during my work with them. I also introduce a specific example of the work with children through detailed description of one of the trips with children outside of Prague. By using various examples I present particular specific dissimilarities of children of migrants from other children. In the final conclusion I introduce several suggestions for changes that would, according to my opinion, enable improvement of the programs of Berkat Civil Society Organization. Psychosocial Problems of Children with an Inborn Visual Impairment
Hloušková, Jitka ; Hubertová, Lucie (advisor) ; Dočkal, Jan (referee)
I'm dealing with the problems of a children with an inborn visual impairment from availible literature in my work. From world history, where I detect the first mentions about the disability and some reactions to it, I'm gradually getting in a time into the current situation and systems support in the Czech Republic, especially I mentionan an Early intervention. This topic is followed by a brief overview and some history of the compensatory tools for the visually impaired, which has an irreplaceable place in the life of disabled children (adults too) and it's very helping to them in a daily life. In a next chapter I deal with the classification and characteristics of particular visual impairment where I mention the most common birth defects of the eye, then their causes and division into the groups. Then I mention the specific needs of these children where I analyze their personal development, communications, plays and toys, environment, special needs according to the age and also education at schools. There I make a detail focus on the concept of integration and specifics of early and preschool age mainly, but also I describe other terms for the integrity of my work. I also emphasize the importance of the family and its influence and the ways how child copes with the defect. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
