Tha photography as a performance of author subject
Šnajberková, Jaroslava ; Musilová, Helena (advisor) ; Grygar, Štěpán (referee)
The basic of this work is common research of the authorship, communication between author and audience and especially the author´s reasons for working with themselves and the possibilities of this kind of creation. The initial point of the work is the age of the performance art, happenings and body art actions of 50´s, 60´s & 70´s during the last century in Czechoslovakia and photography of this kind of actions including the transformation of meaning in today. In connection of today I think of author´s performance in larger criterion not only as a happening but also from the criterion of working with myself and with photography as a tool of selfreflection.

Romani Theme in Czech Photography
Kubíčková, Dora ; Musilová, Helena (advisor) ; Silverio, Robert (referee) ; Grygar, Štěpán (referee)
Romani people have been a popular subject of Czech photography, mainly the documentary one. This theme is very attractive both by its exoticism and availability. The focus was mainly in the research of sources. We targeted the photographers of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries for whom this theme was crucial - whether they dealt with it on a long-term basis or it appeared in just one of their series.
Photography of architecture and photography in architecture of Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron
Vopátková, Eva ; Grygar, Štěpán (advisor) ; Kolář, Viktor (referee)
The bacheloreal work is focused on a mutual get-togetherness of two branches, architecutre and photography. It investigates relationship between reality and its interpretation, a kind of a three ? dimensional presentability and backward influence of these categories on architecture. In the concrete it is applied to authors, who fixate their attention on the top of the present world's architecture ? on Swiss studio ?Herzog & de Meuron?. It concerns the authors of documentary and free photography and also an integration of photography directly to architecture itself. The work is divided into several parts. At first, there are presented architects whose work is a topic of all alluded photographs. It is followed by a chapter speaking generally about relationship between architecture and photography (with bellow-chapters: perspective, trend, artificial image, digital image). The second half is devoted to the particular photographs and according to Eric de Maré it is divided into: ?Record?(I), ?Illustration?(II) and ?Picture ?(III). Following authors are assigned to single chapters: Margherita Spiluttini, Hisao Suzuki (I), Jeff Wall, Thomas Ruff (II), Hiroshi Sugimoto and Luisa Lambri (III).
