Proposal for the Portfolio of the Mutual Fund of Collective Investment Expansion

This bachelor thesis focuses on the selection of Australian Stock Exchange listed companies for the management of an investment company managing a collective investment trust. At the beginning of the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the theoretical and legal aspects of collective investment funds in the Czech Republic and the tools of fundamental analysis. The empirical part includes the selection of stock titles in accordance with the status of the fund and their subsequent analysis in the form of ratio indicators. The results of the ratios are then compared with each other by applying the scoring method. This is followed by a verification of the companies in terms of their potential bankruptcy, which excludes two companies from the sample. After the evaluation of the results obtained, a proposal for the expansion of the management portfolio of the fund was drawn up.
Proposal for Addition of a Hedge Fund Investment Portfolio

The master's thesis focuses on the development of a proposal to expand the investment portfolio of a hedge fund according to management requirements. The knowledge gained in the theoretical part is applied in the analytical part. First, the properties of the fund and the requirements of its management to expand their portfolio are defined. The selected companies are subjected to a financial analysis, the intrinsic value of their shares is determined. The results are compared with each other. The bankruptcy model is used to assess the riskiness of companies. Based on the analyzed results, a recommendation for expanding the hedge fund's investment portfolio is drawn up.
Expansion of the Investment Portfolio of the Industry Based Hedge Fund

The bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal for expansion of the investment portfolio of the industry-based hedge fund. In the theoretical part, two types of investment funds are described, however, the hedge funds and the terms related to them are outlined in more detail. The selected tools of financial analysis are also discussed. The practical part of the thesis begins with the definition of the statute and management requirements of the fund. Then an initial selection of the companies follows. The chosen companies were further analyzed by means of the financial ratios, then the companies were compared to each other and verified by a bankruptcy model. At the end, the proposal for expansion was delivered.

The diploma thesis deals with the elaboration of a proposal for an investment recommendation to expand the investment portfolio of the industry-focused fund with shares of companies from the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. The theoretical part deals with collective investment, hedge funds and also contains methods of financial analysis. The practical part includes an initial selection of companies, which are then subjected to analysis, their mutual comparison and verification in terms of their potential bankruptcy. The proposal part deals with an investment recommendation for the expansion of the hedge fund.
Investing in Commodities through Futures Contracts

The diploma thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of selected commodities in order to create an investment recommendation to diversify the hedge fund's equity portfolio. The theoretical part deals with issues related to the investment portfolio, commodities, trading through futures contracts and explains the applied analytical methods. In the practical part, commodities are first selected, which are then analyzed by selected methods and finally compared by a comparative method. The last part of the work contains, based on the results, a proposal to expand the investment portfolio and the process of making investments through commodity futures contracts.
Specification of requirements and selecting the tool for the project development management

Thesis is mainly focused on tools used for team development management in a small company, engaged in software development and providing marketing services across multiple development teams. Thesis is based on the practice of the author and its main objective is to evaluate the possibility of tools implementing to provide support to the management of development teams at AITOM. The main goal is to evaluate existing tools used and suggest a suitable solution for improving in this area. The first part of thesis defines basic related terms, the second part provides the analysis of the current situation in management of development teams at Aitom and the third part is destinated to the implementation of JIRA tool.
