The main task is to determine whether economic performance of the regional city is in some equivalence to the road infrastructure. This means at first to develop the description of selected regional cities in terms of population, GDP per capita and GDP growth dynamics. Then it's logically connected with analysis of transport connection to regional cities, in the context of highway and road transport in comparison with the particular distances between them. Previous analysis lead to the synthesis of socioeconomic perspective, where we find out how the regional cities are more or less similar from socioeconomic perspective and in terms of transport links and hierarchical arrangement of the transport potential of regional cities.
