Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit on physical education on fitness of girls from seventh of elememntary school
Floriánová, Linda ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation. Results: From the results of the work emerged that as far as the chosen motoric activities and their influence on the chosen segments of the fitness are concerned, during the time given only the segment of flexibility in...
Methods of affecting overweightness and obesity by applying non-pharmaceutical intervention with middle-aged women.
Černý, Petr ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Topic - Methods of affecting overweightness and obesity by applying non-pharmaceutical intervention with middle-aged women Goals - The goal is to lay out the methods of intervention in terms of reducing obesity and overweightness, by applying regime changes, or more specifically diets and appropriate physical excercises. Methods - While composing my thesis, I used the literary research method which uses printed and internet sources. Results - The success of regime changes in terms of obesity and overweightness shows only then, when we ensure higher energy usage. We have to change the lifestyle as well as apply a diet coupled with frequent physical activity, all of which should be based on the health state and actual physical abilities of the individual. Keywords: Body Mass Index, fatness, energetic balance, alimentation, movement.
Regeneration in the pre-season period in sports aerobics
Kordíková, Kamila ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Regeneration in the pre-season period in sports aerobics The aim of this study is to show modern methods and forms of regeneration in a period which is the most demanding for competitors in terms of mental and physical pages and to describe the effects and behavior of individual forms so that the competitors could choose the most suitable for him. Further classification of individual procedures in specific weekly microcycles for optimal readiness athletes access the following season and prevent overvoltage and overtraining. The goal is to show the importance of regeneration and its wide range available and the positive effects in the form of improved performance. Keywords: forms of regeneration, pre-season period, sports aerobics, performance
The exercise regimen of high school students and its impact on body composition.
Říha, Radek ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: The exercise regimen of high school students and its impact on body composition Objectives: The main goal is to use a literature research and measurement to identify the current high school population relationship to physical activity and the revenues resulting effect on their body composition. Methods: This work uses the methods of literature analysis and measurement. The target group, consisting of young male probands, is measured in their first year of high school (15 - 16 years). The exercise regimen was tested with pedometers and the body composition was determined by bioelectrical impedance B.I.A. 2000 - M. apparatus. Results: The volume of physical activity in high school is inadequate, which shows both the average number of steps per day and percentage of body fat and the relationship between these two components. Only 2 of 9 students met the standard 10 000 steps per day and the same 2 matched standards of 11,3 % body fat, which evidently shows the relationship of these two components. Further it shown that the implemented exercise regimen has no significant effect on the value of the ECM/BCM Key words: physical acitivity, health, lifestyle, overweight and obesity, body composition
Physical activity as a means of lifestyle change
David, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Thesis title: Physical activity as a means of lifestyle change Thesis objective: The objective of the thesis at hand was to verify effectiveness of the exercise program that leads to a change from predominantly sedentary lifestyle to an active one. Methods applied in the thesis: To find out the effectiveness of the controlled exercise intervention, it was applied, for three months, to a group of four persons (one male and three females, aged 28 to 36). The effectiveness was evaluated by exercise test in a laboratory run by FTVS UK in Prague. Outcome: The first proband managed to reduce the overall weight by 2 kg (i.e.2.65 %), out of which the percentage of body fat decreased by 11.82 % and the weight of fat-free matter increased by 0.2 kg (i.e.0.3 %). The ECM/BCM ratio increased by 0.04 (i.e. 4.7 %). The value of aerobic endurance VO2max increased by 8.9 ml.kg-1 .min-1 (i.e. 23.2 %). The running speed per one kilometre (min.km-1 ) at the anaerobic threshold level fell from the original 4:58 minutes to 4:30 minutes (acceleration of 28 seconds). Probands Nos. 2, 3 and 4 managed, on average, to increase their overall weight by 1.7 kg (i.e. 2.11 %), out of which the percentage of body fat increased by 3.07 % and the weight of fat-free matter increased, on average, by 0.73 kg (i.e. 1.11 %). The ECM/BCM...
Practice analysis of development of Strength Abilities in Childhood and Teens
Schröder, Patrik ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Practice Analysis of Stimulation of Strength Abilities in Childhood and Teens. Objectives: The primary objective of this thesis is to create a body of information about this topic, which can then serve as a source of theoretic basis for trainers, fitness instructors and PE teachers. While working with young people to gain information about methods used by them in Czech fitness centres, which then will be compared to general recommendations. Methods: The analysis of recent and actual technical literature, which is dealing with similar questiones, has been used during the methodolgy. Another research method of this thesis is for the participants to assess whether they follow correct procedures by means of a target group survey. The assessment of these procedures should be compared with gained data from target group and theoretical methodology gained by analysis of the literature. Results: Stimulation of strength abilities in childhood and teens is a propriate activity, but only if respecting correct procedures. There are some incorrect procedures followed by youth in Czech fitness centres as outcome of the research. Keywords: strength, strength abilities, children, youth
Artrosis of knee joint
Jahnová, Michaela ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: Movement as a prevention of arthritis of the knee joint Objectives: The aim of my work is to sum up all the available facts concerning the problems related to arthritis of the knee joint and, on the basis of the results of the literature search, to make a recommendation of a training programme for its prevention. The intended objective is to focus on the causes of its formation and development and to use this knowledge in the suggestion of the training programme which could help to prevent or delay the onset and reduce the progression of this disease. Methods: For the Bachelor work I will be collecting, sorting and organising all my information. As a result of this examination of literature I will achieve my intended goal for this Bachelor work. Results: I found out that we cannot cure arthritis of the knee joint, we can only reduce its development and final results. The most important part is the prevention, which includes daily functional exercise and specially designed programmes. Developed muscles stabilise the knee joint and therefore intelligently planned daily activity is important for the construction of an intact knee joint which is needed to ensure safe operation in many sports and even in our daily activities. I focused the recommendation of a training programme on the midlife and...
