As a subject matter of my dissertation I opted for "Education of foster parents by means of professional educational courses, seminars, programs etc." I believe that educational seminars and also programs developing forest parents ́personality, events enabling them to share their pleasures and worries with other foster parents or just relaxing events are not only enrichment to their lives but are also necessary and beneficial. Within the framework of my dissertation I worked with the offer of three private organizations operating in the region of the capital city of the Czech Republic - Prague: Středisko náhradní rodinné péče, sdružení Rozum a cit and Fond ohrožených dětí. I carried out a survey whether their offer of courses, seminars and programs is sufficient and satisfactory not only considering their extend but also regarding the satisfaction of all needs of forest parents. Moreover, I tried to investigate whether there is any interest on the side of forest parents. In order to find the answer I used the statistical figures provided by the organizations and the results of a questionnare given to chosen forest parents. Mediation and its Posibilities of Use Within the Scope of Divorce Suit

This bachelor work is concentrated on mediation and possibilities of its use in divorce suit. In teoretical part I present and describe mediation, its history in the World and in Czech Republic, its principles, aim, phases, forms, suitable and unsuitable cases, requirements for mediator etc. In fourth chapter I attend to family mediation and I present it as one of the possibilities of resolution of family conflicts, I define its object, advantages, continuity with social work etc. In practical part I process casuistries of cases which are suitable for mediation, which confirm effectivity and applicable mediation to family conflicts field. Main aim of this bachelor work is to present mediation as one of the potential way of family dispute resolution in divorce suit, and also in social work with families. In my bachelor thesis Stress in a life of a child - relaxation techniques and a possible use of swimming pool therapy while coping with the stressful situation the child's life I am describing the problem with stress in a life of a child and the possibility how to solve the problem using relaxation techniques, particularly swimming pool therapy. In more detail I describe the stress in general, its component parts, the period of stress, stressful factors, which the most of the children and youth are facing up during their adolescence or which they might be facing up, but also stress, which is caused by traumatic experience. I have focused on the prevention of the stress of children and on the use of techniques, which help to cope with these situations. The practical part of my bachelor thesis is devoted to the introduction of the method called swimming pool therapy and to the confirmation or negation of the hypothesis, that the relaxation technique - the swimming pool therapy - has according to the internal opinion of their parents an impact on coping with stressful situation in a child's life, which I have gathered from the research (questionnaire). The result of the research I describe by the help of verbal evaluation and objective graphs.

Domestic violence against men

This thesis deals with domestic violence against men committed by women. It starts with defining the phenomenon of domestic violence generally using the contextualization. The main part of the thesis focuses on domestic violence against men and its aspects. The characteristic features of this form of spousal assault are completed with several statistics from the Czech Republic and from abroad as well. The description of the domestic violence against men consists of typical forms of illNusage committed by women, consequences of it and the list of the most frequent cause of women's aggressiveness against partner. A brief evaluation of services provided to men under threat by most significant NGOs is included. The thesis contains public inquiry focusing on men under threat of domestic violence as well. Domestic Violence - Focus on Aggressors

This bachelor ́s thesis deals with the issue of domestic violence and strives to describe why domestic violence represents a serious threat to families and society as a whole. It emphasises the importance of facing the problem of domestic violence in a comprehensive way: from the angle of victims as well as aggressors. Predominantly, the thesis focuses on perpetrators, aggressors, violent persons and individuals with behavioural problems. This field has been substantially neglected in the Czech Republic, and that is why this particular segment of persons was selected as the main subject. The thesis aims to develop a field study which would map a current status of work with this target group in our country. For the purpose of facing the issue of domestic violence, prevention of domestic violence as such and prevention of its relapse are equally crucial. However, the Czech Republic has a highly limited experience in treating aggressors and no literature and/or expert studies are available. Consequently, the practical part of this thesis is based on experience from abroad. Kolping house, shelter for mothers with children, to prevent social exclusion

Bachelor's thesis - Kolping house, shelter for mothers with children, to prevent social exclusion, deals with the social phenomenon - social exclusion. Especially on the causes and issues that relate to this. Social exclusion also applies to lonely parents and this work focuses mainly on this group. The following is part of the work on the role of state organizations that promote socially excluded persons through financial and social services aimed at prevention. Practical work is given Kolping house - the house of asylum for mothers with children, who risk social exclusion. I present here the objectives of the organization, the conditions of stay in Kolping house and who is resident in the house Kolpingově primarily intended. The work contains a description of social work in Kolping house, especially information about the service under the name video interaction guidance, the story - case study of typical clients with I have a longer time in contact, interview with social worker Kolping house, questionnaire and providing satisfaction and quality of social services in Kolping house. Problems of social work in relation to syndrome CAN

In my bachelors work Problems of social work in relation to syndrome CAN I investigated some eases of child neglect, mental abuse, physical abuse and sexual abuse. The general term for these types of behavior in syndrome CAN. The goal of my work is to define the problem typically encountered by social workers. Throughout these problems are a lack of information from the profession and public. The lack of state rare which should provide family therapy, disfunctionality of multidisciplinarity cooperation, the lack of social workers and the repented interviewing of children during a suspected case of CAN. I have divided my work into two parts - the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part is focused on the status of children in society past and present. I also mentioned the legal parameters encompass the status of children in society. Furthermore it's about the prevention of CAN, it's consequences and revealing cases of CAN and the status of social workers in these cases and the problems which they encounter. In practical part I addressed the causes of the case of one girl who was physically punished by her of one girl who was physically punished by her mother. Contact Centres for Drug Addicts and their Support Activities

The aim of the thesis "Contact Centres for Drug Addicts and their Support Activities" is to describe a specific way of work with drug addicts except the alcohol drug addicts. Firstly it considers the concept of drugs, drug addiction, while examining an impact on an individual as well as the society. This work describes the functioning of the low threshold contact centres as one of the possible solution of this problem. The philosophy of the centres is to be easy accessible to everyone. The contact centre s purvey to its clients anonymous services free of charge. Service of such centres leads to the reduction of health hazard (transmission of infectious diseases, inflammatory diseases, etc.) and a social stabilization of the client. At the very most it may also leads to the therapy and permanent abstinence of the client. It means this does not solve only the drug addiction, but also decrease the impact of drug addicťs risk behaviours to the society. The research was conducted in the contact centre Sananim. It maps the range of clients in this centre, investigates the degree of their social stabilization, service using and the effectiveness of harm reduction.

An Analysis of Social- educational Activities in the Educational Care Centre at Klíčov- Pontis

My work deals with the activity of Educational Care Centre Klíčov - PONTIS, which is residential section of preventive education for children and youth with behavioural disorders. It is the section 1 work as an educational worker assistant with specialization in sporting activities. The first part of my work, consisting of 3 chapters contains some basic facts and concepts connecting with social, psychological and behavioural disorders of our clients, with social-educational activity in general and also with the position of Educational Care Centers in the social support, care and education system. In the second part, consisting of 7 chapters I deal with the factual aims and with the educational system of our Centre. I also deal with the problems and questions the persons (workers and clients) in our Centre are confronted most often with.
