Quality of services in IP Telephony in Wirelass Networks
Slavíček, Tomáš ; Kyselák, Martin (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the principles of assurance quality of services in IP networks. The first part of the thesis describes specifications which are required by current applications for data network, and also illustrates the methods suitable for solving those requirements. The most attention is given to multimedia service VoIP whose development has not been finished from far. That theoretical knowledge implies in the second part of the thesis which analyzes the implementation of assurance QoS for the service VoIP within the standard 802.11, or more precisely, for wireless networks in general. The simulation of wireless networks within the program Opnet Modeler and the attest of the ability to assure QoS within both wireless networks and their limitations with an unswitched network are described in the next step. The current possibilities how to build up WLAN with the bearing QoS are sized up in conclusion.
Quality of Services in Wireless Networks 802.11
Kopeček, Tomáš ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis reports an integrated view of wireless networks of standard 802.11, known as Wi-Fi. It contains three main parts, the first two of them are theoretical knowledge. The first part of work have to do with the security issue of WLAN, the second part refers to security issue of quality of services (QoS). The aim of the third, practical part is to verify the right functions of standard 802.11e, which ensures the support of quality of services in networks 802.11. Because of huge expansion of multimedia services demand, is this support in wireless networks necessary.
System for support for work of programming translators in MS Windows - Visual Studio or Delphi
Kozempel, Lukáš ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Cvrk, Lubomír (advisor)
Subject of my bachelor's thesis is practical realization of the system, which controls program MS Word. It ensures underline that line in document, which is currently translating by translator. In the first part technologies used for create this system are analyzed. In the second part I have described function of created program.
Temperature scanning with Web site presentation
Svoboda, Vít ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Kacálek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis solves design and realisation of device for temperature value scanning. First chapter introduces reader into basic principles of transmitting data over inetrnet. Next, the conception of whole designed system is described. Third chapter treats about suitable types of hardware to complete the system. Fourth and fifth chapter describes coherent vision of software realisation for values scanning and their storing into database. Last part attends to implement the dynamic web pages.
Development trends of TCP for high-speed networks
Modlitba, Jan ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
The master's thesis solve the problem of setting new TCP variants for high-speed IP networks. The first goal was to describe in detail the behaviour of TCP and then analyse a problem of utilization the available bandwidth with standard TCP in high-speed network. Work consequently deals with selection and description the most perspective ones. Further the reader is familiarized with reasonable simulation tools of existing problems and their brief description. Main part of this thesis presents examination of performance of new TCP variants for high-speed network. During the examination the aspects on efficiency and fairness of competition flows on shared bottleneck are taken. The results are tabularly displayed plus compared with each other.
Voice-over-IP principle and security problems
Bořuta, Petr ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Vyoral, Josef (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with security properties of protocols used for VoIP systems. In the first part, there is a description of most commonly used protocols and structure of VoIP systems. This part also discuss signaling and transport protocols. The second part of this paper describes techniques of ensuring quality of services. The next part presents SIP messages and communication. Last part of this paper overviews security risks of VoIP protocol. Practical part of this thesis describes creation of a testing VoIP network, on which several attacks has been made, fallowed by securing of mentioned VoIP network. Result of this thesis is evaluation of security risks connected to VoIP communication.
Design of the laboratory task for attack on fingerprint authentication
Spurný, Jiří ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deal with personal fingerprint authentication and contains basic types of fingerprint readers included their principles of working. In this thesis are collected published attempts to this type of biometric authentication and in detail described way, how these attempts were realized . Realization of lab measurement is mentioned in practical part of thesis, is designed based on collected and evaluated information. Tendency for realization was to use materials and procedures which are available on market as well as computer technology. So no special equipment is needed for realization. Practical part describes in detail procedures for papillary lines capturing and their electronic processing. Described is also way to break through optical finger print sensor. For confirmation of procedure was made 12 artificial finger casts from Lukopren material. There casts were used to attempt on optical sensor Microsoft Fingerprint Reader with 100% success. Based on realized tests to produce artificial casts was proposed procedure for realization of laboratory measurement. This procedure is described in main part of this thesis. Proposed procedure has been confirmed in 90 minutes time limit, based on requirement to achieve time limit of school training session.
Architecture of channels in UMTS networks
Souček, David ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
Mobile networks and their services are one of the most importantly developing domains of telecommunication these days. The mobility of subscribers and services is the funda-mental need for dynamic development of not only the economics, but also of other fields of human performance. The charge for the mobility and integration of various kinds of services in mobile networks is an extensively complicated architecture and a protocol equipment. The important aspect of mobile networks is the efektivity of utilization of radio sources, which are scarce and form so called narrow neck of the communication chain between the mobile terminal and the network terminal. That is the reason why the perfection of mobile technologies is closely related to the improvement of efficiency of the usage of radio sources, which is reflexed in the UMTS network by an extensively complicated layer architecture of communication channels, that is formed by three layers as distinct from the GSM/GPRS network, where the architecture of channels was in two layers.
Software support for cryptography education
Stančík, Peter ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Burda, Karel (advisor)
The main aim of this thesis was to study, choose and decribe techniques eligible for cryptography education. A pedagogically appropriate presentation for the selected techniques' principles was to be chosen. Another goal was to create an integrated modular web interface containing a calculator focused on cryptographic operations. The eligibility of techniques was assessed accordingly to the computing processes implied by these techniques and also accordingly to the ability of being presented in an illustrative way. A program simplifying calculations used in symetric and asymetric cryptography was designed and implemented. It disposes of a web interface and one of its parts is focused on steganographic techniques. On the other hand, any pedagogically appropriate presentation interconnecting this program with theoretical findings from this field was not found.
CMS system combined with e-shop system
Orság, Lubomír ; Vyoral, Josef (referee) ; Cvrk, Lubomír (advisor)
Aim of this master’s thesis was design of front-end and back-end interfaces of electronic shopping system. Design consists of completing individual use-case and workflow diagrams. Next it was explored possible security risks, designed security actions against these risks, explored payment methods usable in electronic shopping systems and methods of its implementation. There was chosen PHP programming language in combination with MySQL relation database management system to be used for development of final application. As result of this work was development of electronic shopping system final application with extended user options, ability of placement at any business type and possibilities that present-day internet user expects from electronic shopping system. To accomplishment the aim of this work contributed implementation of extended user options as advanced catalog items sorting, multi level catalog structure and advanced search options. It succeeded in choosing and implementing designed security prevention and implementing of template engine into final application. Whole system is described in detail using data modeling and class diagrams.
