Dissolution testing of tablets containing theophylline and mixtures of two types of calcium hydrogen phosphates and lactose

PharmDr. Zdeňka Šklubalová, Ph.D. Student: Lucie Dušková Title of Thesis: Dissolution testing of tablets containing theophylline and mix- tures of two types of calcium hydrogen phosphates and lactose The aim of this diploma thesis was to study effect of the composition of pow- ders on the tablets dissolution. The mixtures that had been used to prepare the tablets that were composed of three types of fillers - lactose, calcium hyd- rogen phosphate anhydrous and dihydrate, theophylline as model drug and magnesium stearate as lubricant. Dissolution tests were performed using those prepared tablets. Basket dissolution method was used (USP-1) with 0.1M hyd- rochloric acid as dissolution medium. The results of this work show that different fillers have different effect on the dissolution tests. Total amount and release speed of theophylline from tablets can be influenced by the ratio of lactose and one of two used types of calcium hydrogen phosphate. The fastest drug release was observed in tablets containing high percentage of lactose. Comparison of efficiency in lexicon test for children with Specific language impairment and children with acquired aphasia

The thesis is composed of two main parts - the theoretical and the practical one. The theoretical part sums up the knowledge about language communication, word and lexicon, and mentions diversity of access to model of the language with emphasis on localization lexicon in the human brain. There is also outlined physiological and pathological development of the lexicon, word-stock problems by children with Specific language impairment and children with acquired aphasia, and finally options of lexicon assessment in the Czech. Practical part is focused on evaluation of lexicon in children divided into the three groups. Each group is consists of three age categories. To analyse lexical profile of these children was compiled the test, which contains ten subtests intent on the rate in obtaining words, structuring of mental lexicon and meaning of the words. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate differences of lexicon between intact children, children with Specific language impairment and children with acquired aphasia. Surnames in the town of Pacov

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is the onomastic analysis in the town of Pacov specifically, it is focused on the area of anthroponyms (surnames, names caused by houses and nicknames). The source material for analysing surnames was ac-quired from the municipality of the town of Pacov, names caused by houses and nicknames were obtained by explorative methods such as questionnaires and interviews. The analysis and classification of the material are based upon academ-ic literature from the field of onomastics. This paper aims to provide analysis of the most frequent surnames in the town and to map local names caused by hous-es and nicknames.

Evaluation of Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS)

The bachelor thesis concerns with comparing the features and functions of four commercial software specified to creating the content of elearning courses, so-called Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS). Orientation will primary lead to the important aspects during creating of courses for education of adults. All classifications are realized on the basics of empirical research in selected software with having a respect to the technical documentations of these software. In the end of the thesis is it possible to find the completed pursuit - complex SWOT analysis of evaluated software.

Administrative building Brno Hlinky, implementation of facade and roof cladding

The subject of this Bachelor thesis is offering solution of technological steps roofing and cladding of an office building in Brno, Hlinky. It is a two storey building, partial basement, the overall module dimensions 9.4 x 37.5 m. Main supporting skeleton consists of roof trusses and ceiling beams that are attached to poles. The roof is purlin, load-bearing layer is trapezoidal sheet, which is on the top flange purlins. The walls are self-supporting, walled. Roof cladding is insulated with layer of polystyrene, the main waterproofing layer is mPVC film. Most of the cladding is designed as external thermal insulation composite systems with ceramic tiles, part of the facade on the west side of the building is made up of wood paneling with an air gap.

This thesis analyses the activity of the volunteer firefighter units from the public finance perspective. It summarizes the legal background, finance, and activity of volunteer firefighters in Czech municipalities. The main contribution of the thesis is that it conducts a cost-benefit analysis of the activity of volunteer firefighter units from the societal point of view. The existing literature deals only with the costs. My estimates suggest that the social benefits associated with the volunteer firefighter units substantially exceed the social costs born by public budgets.

Microworld of guards and prisoners in Theresienstadt.

The main task of this thesis is to explore the relationship between the prisoners and the guards at Theresienstadt. Given the complexity of the Therezin ghetto guards hierarchy -- and in order to aim at the very hub of this problematic question -- this paper will focus primarily on the gendarmes, who were in everyday contact with the prisoners. Were conditions of the forced occupants of the given ghetto so dramatic without any exceptions -- or -- was there at least anyone willing to help them? Why were some prisones being ill-treated and brutally murdered while others were being priviledged? The key role in the different living conditions of the "Forced communities" (as H. G. Adler often calls them) played the relationships between gendarmes and the prisoners -- that is why these two "social roles" are the dominant feature of this paper. The Holocaust witnesses evidence stored in the Jewish Museum in Prague and the published origins and the latest sources of literature were used as some of the primary sources.

Praktická část práce hodnotí systém zaměstnaneckých výhod ve společnosti Laufen CZ, s.r.o. Zaměřuje se především na to, jaké zaměstnanecké výhody společnost svým zaměstnancům nabízí a také na to, jak jsou tyto výhody zaměstnanci využívány.
