Recruitment and staff selection
Bláhová, Lucie ; Kocianová, Renata (advisor) ; Pivoňková, Lucie (referee)
Recruitment and staff selection is a topic which deserves attention to be given in literature. Recruitment and staff selection are areas of personnel work that are crucial for any organization because they influence its efficiency. The fundamental part of successful selection process is job analysis which is followed by recruitment. Every organization should consider choosing recruiting from internal (inner) sources or recruiting from external (outer) sources, or its combination. Another issue that an organization should consider is the method or methods of recruitment. Staff selection is not less important than recruitment and there are more methods of staff selection as well. Regarding both methods of recruitment and methods of staff selection, organization usually chooses more than one method of recruitment and more methods of staff selection at the same time. In the practical part of my thesis I concentrated on AYS and its service portfolio. I focussed my attention on ways of recruitment and the process of selection. AYS uses well-established means of recruitment such as on-line recruitment, advertisements and its own database of applicants. The whole selection process is executed according to the company's procedure and its know-how. I also tried to point out both weaknesses and strengths of AYS. There...

The aim of this thesis is the financial analysis of the COOP ENERGY company, based on accounting data and reports from the years 2012 to 2015. Thesis is divided in two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part I present used methods of financial analysis, especially horizontal and vertical analysis, focused on individual indicators from the financial statements and audit reports. I consider and compare the development of indicators of profitability, liquidity and debt ratios. This focuses on assessments of debt levels and debt capital and consequent risk of insolvency proceedings. The practical part presents the company as an subject in competitive and liberalized energy market and compare the position in the market with the competitors with similar scope and business potential.
Plasmachemical deposition and characterization of hexamethyldiloxane thin layers
Blahová, Lucie ; doc. Mgr. Vít Kudrle. Ph.D. (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
Thin films have been used to modify surface properties of various materials for many years. Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD) is one of the possible methods for their preparation and this technique is applied in this work as well. An organosilicone – hexamethyldisiloxane – is used as precursor. Thin films are created on the surface of the substrate using mixture of precursor and oxygen in radiofrequently excited capacitively coupled plasma. The aim of the thesis is to find the optimal deposition conditions for production of transparent thin layers with good barrier capabilities, low oxygen transmission rate especially. Thin film depositions were realized for different compositions of the deposition mixture in continuous and pulsed mode of plasma with varying supplied power and duty cycle values. The deposition process itself was monitored in situ by optical emission spectroscopy. Thin film coatings were analyzed to determine their physical chemical properties (infrared spectroscopy, surface energy) and barrier properties. Using optical emission spectroscopy, important particles were identified in the deposition plasma. Vibrational, rotational and electron temperatures were determined from relative intensities of chosen fragments. Composition of thin films was studied by infrared spectroscopy. The best results of oxygen transmission rate were achieved with layers prepared from deposition mixture with high oxygen content. It was possible to improve barrier properties by performing deposition in pulsed plasma mode with 20–30% duty cycle. In this diploma thesis, optimal deposition conditions of thin films from hexamethyldisiloxane with low oxygen transmission rate were determined. It is possible to use these results in practical applications, such as corrosion inhibitors for archaeological objects. Optionally, they can be used in various industry branches where it is desirable and feasible to prevent oxygen access to the material by deposition of barrier coatings.
Characterization of plasma during organosilicone thin film deposition using haxamethyldisiloxane monomer
Blahová, Lucie ; Mazánková, Věra (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is plasma diagnostic during deposition of thin films based on organosilicones. Hexamethyldisiloxane was used as a precursor for plasma deposition in the presence of oxygen, and the diagnosis was performed by using optical emission spectroscopy. The theoretical part summarizes the basic characteristics of plasma and processes occurred at plasma polymerization and deposition. It also deals with thin films and their use in coating materials. A relatively large part is devoted to the specification of the physical-chemical nature of the used analytical method – optical emission spectroscopy. Finally, the principles of rotational, vibrational and electron temperature calculations are described. The contemporary deposition process was carried out in continuous and pulsed mode of radiofrequently excited capacitively coupled discharge. The effects of monomer flow rate, plasma power and duty cycle on the deposition process were studied. In the individual spectra, atomic hydrogen lines of Balmer’s series as well as an atomic oxygen line were identified. Molecular bands of CO have been identified as Angstrom’s system and 3. positive system. In the case of the identified fragments, the intensity dependencies on the monomer concentration in mixture, plasma power and duty cycle were detected. Electron temperature of plasma was also calculated using the relative intensities of atomic hydrogen lines of Balmer’s series. Vibrational and rotational temperature could not have been determined because no suitable fragments for their determination were found in the spectrum. Based on findings mentioned above, partial composition of plasma and some of its properties were estimated. The subject of the further research will be determination of the exact content and structure of the thin films and investigation of other plasma characteristics. Plasma deposition is influenced by many factors, and the study of their optimal combination for the most efficient deposition process is a goal for the future research.
Investment life insurance
Bláhová, Lucie ; Bílková, Diana (advisor) ; Valová, Pavlína (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the investment life insurance. Investment life insurance combines the classical life insurance and the investments in open-end mutual funds. It is a widely discussed financial product, especially for its high expensiveness. Nevertheless, the investment life insurance holds a significant share of the insurance market. The aim of this diploma thesis is the analysis and exploration of investment life insurance market in Czech Republic. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part the basic concepts of this insurance product are defined. Theoretical part further contains the theory related to time series analysis and the description of mutual funds. Practical part deals with the five most significant insurance companies in Czech Republic, compares various mutual funds and analyses the selected mutual fund in detail. The forecast of selected mutual fund price development was performed. It turned out that the price forecasting is complicated because of variety of factors affecting the price behaviour. Further, the calculations of insurance premiums and technical provisions were performed. MS Excel was used for the calculations and the time series analysis was performed using the statistical software Eviews. Diploma thesis assists the readers with the orientation in the investment life insurance problematics.
Social work and necessity of a united professional association seen through gender policy
BLÁHOVÁ, Lucie
The thesis deals with social work and its current situation. The work focuses on the reflection of the gender issues in social work. The introductory part is devoted to the public and the private sphere and the way how it was set in the society and to the consequences for men and women. The next part briefly introduces the history of the social work as a domain of women and the church, which reflected/did not reflect the social revolutions, development and changes that have happened in our society up to the present day. The second part of the work points to the uncrystallization and fragmentation of social work, difficult self-definition/identification of male and female social workers as a result of the post-modern society code and the gender contract. The thesis subsequently compares the problems of social work and women´s associations and finds the solution in the implementation of a united professional association.
Effect of robotic milking on the behavior of breeding cows
BLÁHOVÁ, Lucie
With increasing consumption of milk and milk products, there were increased number of dairy cattle, but the increase of demand for dairy cows and thus to changes in technology and technique of milking, which would increase milk production, productivity, and improve the welfare of dairy cows. An efficient solution could be milking robots. The first robot was placed on a farm in the Netherlands in 1992. The introduction of robotic milking on agricultural farms in the Czech Republic began in 2003 when the main reason was a shortage of skilled manpower that would be willing to work in harsh working and sanitary conditions. The thesis aim was to assess the effect of milking by the milking robot on the behavior of breeding cows throughout the day in relation to milk yield and fertility in relation to lactation and genotypic classification (H100, HxC, C100). The behavioral monitoring was carried out in dairy farms Brloh (milking by milking robots) and Haklových Dvorech - the control group (in the milking house) in the period from August 2009 to January 2010. The data processing was done with using the Microsoft Excel program. For the evaluation of all parameters were observed in herds calculated basic statistics. Differences disappear individual indicators were evaluated single-factor analysis of variance. The first monitoring of the findings in cattle reproductive performance was the terms of genotype. The values were found favorable for fertility groups HxC in the both stables. Length insemination interval reached 69.1 days in ZD Brloh (compared to 110.1 of the ŠZP Haklovy Dvory), length of service period of 110.8 (vs. 142.9 days). In the meantime, the length (due to differences in the number of animals in the group) was a length of 409.5 versus 438.5 in the group of breeding cows milked in a milking house (ŠZP Haklovy dvory). Further indicators of fertility were evaluated in terms of lactation. The longest length of service period was recorded at 1st lactation in ŠZP Haklovy Dvory were 176 days. The shortest service period was found at the 3rd and subsequent lactations of 133.5 days. Insemination interval, indicating the search of breeding cows, which were in a rutting season, was roughly the same at all lactation ZD Brloh (range 72.7 to 78.2 days) for the ŠZP Haklovy Dvory was the longest period of time to 2 lactation (118.9 days). In terms of breeding cows for milk yield for each lactation cows achieve greater results in the production company with robotic milking (100 days - 3539.1 kg, 200 days - 6727.5 kg of milk 305 days - 9602.9 kg of milk). Compared to the control group, where a 100 days lactation cows milked 3240.06 kg of milk 200 days produced 5433 kg to 305 of milk and 5327.18 kg of milk daily. The behavioral surveillance in both companies was carried out for 24 hours using the interval method with a 10 minutes interval period. The largest part of the day the cows were lying. The second largest dairy operations were the category of standing, which represented the average length of 6.05 hours in ZD Brloh. In the ŠZP Haklovy Dvory was the time period 5.71 hours. The significant period between groups is also the time of feeding, which in the system with the milking in milking house is much shorter by 1.79 hours and it taken 3.71 hours. The length of the movement was in the milking house more than half the size shorter and was 0.32 hours. Also, the length of staying in the milking house was about half shorter and it was 0.22 hours.
