Detection of cellular processes in image sequences
Hatrinh, Hung Anh ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
Překlad abstraktu (Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá segmentací buněk od obrazového pozadí a detekcí buněčných procesů v kvantitativních fázových obrazech získaných koherencí řízeným holografickým mikroskopem. Navržený algoritmus na segmentaci buněk využívá hranového detektoru watershedingu. Implemtován byl v programovacím jazyce C++ a využívá knihovny OpenCV. Detekce buněčných procesů je řešena metodami strojového učení v MATLABu.)
Realization of educational multichannel sound generator
Homzová, Eliška ; Valach, Soběslav (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is an implementation of an educational multichannel sound circuit, which will be used as a laboratory exercise in the course called "Logical circuits and systems". This paper includes an overview of principles of multichannel sound generation, selection of a suitable architecture of programmable sound generator and its implementation into the FPGA. Part of the work is also a design of communication between development boards and PC.
Image analysis of object surface texture
Klimeš, Jiří ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with design and implementation of algorithms for image analysis of object surface texture for the purpose of automating the surface grinding process. In the first part of this thesis, a search was performed in the field of image analysis of object surface texture. The proposed descriptors were tested on the created annotated database of texture images. Subsequently, a scene for image acquisition of the machined object was designed and assembled, and the grinding process was automated based on the results of the previous analysis. The implementation and achieved results were evaluated and other possible improvements were proposed.
Text document plagiarism detector
Kořínek, Lukáš ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This diploma thesis is concerned with research on available methods of plagiarism detection and then with design and implementation of such detector. Primary aim is to detect plagiarism within academic works or theses issued at BUT. The detector uses sophisticated preprocessing algorithms to store documents in its own corpus (document database). Implemented comparison algorithms are designed for parallel execution on graphical processing units and they compare a single subject document against all other documents within the corpus in the shortest time possible, enabling near real-time detection while maintaining acceptable quality of output.
Unary Classification of Image Data
Beneš, Jiří ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The work deals with an introduction to classification algorithms. It then divides classifiers into unary, binary and multi-class and describes the different types of classifiers. The work compares individual classifiers and their areas of use. For unary classifiers, practical examples and a list of used architectures are given in the work. The work contains a chapter focused on the comparison of the effects of hyper parameters on the quality of unary classification for individual architectures. Part of the submission is a practical example of reimplementation of the unary classifier.
Retargeting of the C language compiler
Pončák, Matej ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
In order to program a target architecture in one of the high-level programming languages, the compiler must support that architecture. The thesis describes the structure of SDCC and LLVM compilers and the procedure of retargeting these compilers. The SDCC compiler is widespread among programmers for its simplicity and the LLVM compiler for its great reusability. Finally, this procedure is implemented for the HCS08 series microprocessor in the LLVM compiler.
Automated sprinkler system for houseplants
Active protection and monitoring device for wireless chargers
Volek, Radim ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of monitoring device, which should serve for measurement and recording measured values of wireless charging device. The thesis further solves design of device protection method. Measuring instrument is equipped with several temperature sensors, which measures temperature in selected points of charging device and is also equipped with current sensor, which measures current from power source of charging device. Sensors are connected to development board FRDM-KL27Z with microcontroller MKL27Z64VLH4. Part of this work is also software which serves to evaluation of data obtained by the sensors.
Strip thickness measurement device
Vitoslavský, Ondřej ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work deals with the design of software capable of operating individual components of measuring equipment and acquaintance with these components. These components are analog-digital converter AD7175-2, digital-analog converter DAC8563 and LCD BC- 1602A-YPLEH. It also deals with communication via the Modbus with superior PLC, which has the ability to read data from the measuring device and control the device to a certain extent.
Temperature control and monitoring system
Mitter, Martin ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work is dealing with the design for maintaining and monitoring optimal temperature for home-based data center. The purpose of this work is to prolong the life of hard drives in data center for as long as possible. First of all, the attention is given to establishing what the optimal temperature for maintaining long-live of hard drives is and how to correctly measure it. Based on the knowledge obtained from theory and from the prototype testing the final design of embedded system for maintaining this function is created.
