Analysis and Visualization of NC Code
Konečný, Michal ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
This project deals with NC tooling visualization and NC code analysis problems. Implementation`s solutions for tooling`s techniques and tools are described in the project . Here visualization`s solution of the tooling`s proces are described, for this OpenGL library si used. In this work problems, we encoutered during work on this project, are analyzed.
Compiler of Equation in Energetic Indusrty
Pehal, Petr ; Goldefus, Filip (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the specialized programming language used for specific calculations in power grid controlling system. First, it presents general significance of these calculations in energetic industry and then particular utilization of the language. It introduces language's syntax and semantics along with its interesting features. Further it focuses on design and implementation of language optimization and extensions.
Parallel Lexical Analyzer
Ježek, Lukáš ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with generating a lexical analyzer which analyzes a file in parallel, i.e. by several threads at a time. The analyzer is generated on the basis of regular language and is represented by finite automaton with the necessary functions. The emphasis is placed on the parallel processing. The possibility of forward and back threads processing is discussed in this thesis. The method of the forward threads was decided to be used for implementation. The problems during implementation that lead to almost none of the desired speed-up of the analysis are discussed.
Generating Code of Optimised Mathematical Operations
Beneš, Vojtěch ; Horáček, Petr (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with creating a simple programming language for working with mathematical operations. Main point of the thesis is to create a compiler of this language, which is using MMX technology to generate instructions of an assembler code. The optimized code generation is based on modified algorithm of context generation.
Embedded Modules of Modern Mobile Devices
Pelikán, Ondřej ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis concerns mobile application development for Windows Phone 7 platform focused on lifestyle changes and dealing with problems concerning weight, physical condition and appearance. The application uses built-in modules of modern mobile phones like GPS navigation, high resolution camera and Internet connection. The application development description starts from general introduction of the issue, through description of main features of the platform Windows Phone 7, concrete architecture of the application and solution of implementation problems, to description of methods and tools used for the design and planning, library and third-party framework description.
Suffix Arrays Construction and Their Use in Bioinformatics
Hlávka, Ondřej ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This work describes perspective data structure called suffix array. This data structure is described in more detail and this paper also contains taxonomy of suffix array construction algorithms. A few algorithms are described more precisely and most space is devoted to algorithm called qsufsort. Finally we will show how can be suffix array used in practice. This work shows usage of suffix array in exact (binary search) and approximate (QUASAR) string matching in DNA sequences.
Checkers - like Network Game
Semerád, Lukáš ; Horáček, Petr (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with board game checkers. It summarizes the history and previous games. The thesis discusses the various versions of the rules that are played around the world. It also deals with the analysis of algorithms for a computer game. The result of this work is a program that allows the game two players, game via network and play against the computer. Also allows different setting default rules.
Suffix Trees Construction and Their Use in Bioinformatics
Hlaváček, Pavel ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This work discusses problems of suffix trees implementation and their use in bioinformatics. There are given different sorts of algorithms for building suffix trees in this work. In the first place, it deals with the on-line method implementation for building suffix trees, proposed by E. Ukkonen and approximate string matching. That is made by application of dynamic programming principles, adapted for  using suffix trees. Both of these methods are described by pseudocode and implemented in a work supplement.
GPU Image Processing Library
Čermák, Michal ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This work is concerned with architecture of recent Nvidia graphics cards and application programming interface CUDA. That is used to create accelerated image processing library. It place emphasis on testing performance gain compassion with high optimized and used OpenCv library.
PDF Annotator for Android
Vejtasa, Ondřej ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and implement an application for Android platform that enables the annotation of PDF documents. This application allows both to read a PDF document and to add and edit customized notes in a PDF document. The application is implemented in Java programming language and makes use of modern librariesfor work with PDF documents.
