Thesis deals with definition, time table and criteria for measurement these pumps. Further thesis deals with total efficiency of the pipe system in relation to pump efficiency. Follow example of a calculation of the one stage volute pump.

Vývoj finanční a nemovitostní krize ve Španělsku a vybraných makroekonomických veličin

This bachelor thesis debates the causes, evolution and consequences of the Spanish financial and real estate crisis that came not only to Spain in 2007 and 2008. As the crisis's development was influenced by the country's history, there is a chapter summarizing what had occurred before the crisis actually started. To prove how the economy was damaged and what the evolution of the problem looked like in the real world, I followed with analysing some of the economic variables. At the end, there are several solutions the Spanish government proposed and made. Consequently, I mentioned some ways that, I suppose, would prevent such problems in the future and I also included my explanation of why preventing similar crisis is such a complicated issue.

Cooperation between the Insurance Companies and Insurance Intermediaries

This bachelor thesis deals with cooperation between insurance companies and insurance intermediaries. In the first chapter, I focused on the characteristics of the subjects on the Czech insurance market. In the next chapter, there are defined insurence intermediaries according to the Czech law. The collaboration with intermediaries is described on the example of an insurance broker. In the third chapter, there are described broker´s basic activities. Furthermore, this chapter provides the benefits of cooperation with the broker and the client. Than there is also analyzed remuneration and selection process for brokers. The final section describes a practical example of cooperation between the client, the broker and the insurance company.

Peer-to-peer insurance

My bachelor thesis deals with peer-to-peer insurance as a segment of the insurance industry. The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the basic aspects of this field, its history and application worldwide. To do so, the thesis is divided into 4 chapters. Each of the chapters is dedicated to a different aspect of peer-to-peer insurance. The first charter incorporates peer-to-peer insurance characteristics, its history and its application in the world insurance markets. The second chapter is dedicated to peer-to-peer companies. The third chapter deals with peer-to-peer products and their characteristics. The last chapter discusses advantages, disadvantages and risks of peer-to-peer insurance and analyzes the conditions of peer-to-peer insurance application in the Czech Republic and in the world.

Fundamental and technical analysis of crude oil price

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the possibility of foundation and forecasting the future crude oil price. The first part of the thesis deals with the description of oil market, determination of the main factors influencing the price of oil, and the definition of current trends. The second part presents a theoretical explanation of prediction methods. The third part operates with long-term oil price development using fundamental analysis and the effect of main factors estimation. The fourth part focuses on application of technical analysis emphasising the most usable tools of trading strategies, which are then implemented and evaluated.

The analysis of factors affecting the mortgage market in Slovakia

This Diploma thesis analyzes the development of the mortgage market in Slovakia. The thesis achieves partial goals which lead to the analysis of the factors affecting the mortgage market. The subject of the practical part, which at the same time happens to be a partial goal, is to analyze the overall development of the mortgage market together with the surrounding markets, to identify the key factors, to monitor their development along with the development the mortgages provided, and to analyze econometrically selected factors affecting the mortgage market. The analysis shows the scope of the force and direction of the selected factors. The theoretical part emphasizes the characteristics of the type of mortgage banking with a focus on the system existing in Slovakia. The thesis also follows the risks from the perspective of the entities in mortgage banking. It also defines the rules, interest rate conditions and types of government-sponsored support. The relationships between the Slovak mortgage market and its subjects are also being explained. Special attention is being paid to the legislative developments having current impact on mortgage banking.

The bachelor thesis is concerned about crowdfunding and focuses on two Czech campaigns, which were successful. Its main objective is to clarify this concept, to bring the total history of collective financing, explain its various kinds, legal form, and finally evaluate its pros and cons. In the practical part is dedicated to two Czech crowd funding campaigns that have succeeded with their contributors. There are ten questions answered for each of them from the founders that bring their experience with this kind of funding.

Financial analysis of J&T BANK

The aim of this thesis is to assess the financial health of the company J&T BANK for the five-year economic period from 2010 to 2014 based on various methods of financial analysis. The entire thesis is structurally divided into two main parts. The first part, purely of a theoretical nature, deals with the very financial analysis, or its main aspects, which can comprehensively evaluate the bank's performance using financial and analytical methods. In the second part, there is application of the selected methods, which were introduced in the theoretical part, on the bank. First, absolute and ratio indicators are analysed-also in the context of the bank's competitive position-which are then supplemented by a detailed breakdown of return on equity, results of selected prediction models of financial distress, and SWOT analysis. In the conclusion, the thesis sums up all partial results obtained, which are then used for the prediction and evaluation of the overall financial situation of the company.

Professional liability insurance in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with professional liability insurance in the Czech Republic. The first chapter focuses on a general description of the insurance and its construction, the basic classification of legal liability and explanation of the types of insurance. The following chapter closely examines the status of professional associations and analyzes the framework agreement concluded by the selected associations. Another part is focused on the professional liability insurance of insurance intermediaries and independent loss adjusters. The last chapter describes the progression and current situation of professional liability insurance, focuses on the current possibilities of arranging insurance and presents selected insurance products.
