Using the Elements of Music Therapy in the Educational Process

This work is focused on the possibility of incorporating practical elements of music therapy into education and is divided into both theoretical and practical sections. In the theoretical section, I will introduce the topics of music and music therapy in general. First, I will summarize for readers the history of music therapy progression, starting with its inception and leading up to its possible application to education in the present. Furthermore, I will discuss the ways in which music therapy can help address several issues in education; namely, the specific elements of music therapy that can be used within the classroom and for which purposes. At the end of the theoretical section, I will compare the personalities of the music therapist and the educationalist. In the practical section, I will introduce several particular activities related to music therapy, which are divided into three categories: 1. Society, conflict, prevention 2. Developing empathy, self-knowledge, getting to know others 3. The Importance of the Human Factor in Coping with Culture Shock

This thesis deals with culture shock, ways it can be overcome and how its process is affected by presence or absence of human factor. In addition to culture shock, the work is also concerned with questions on what is culture, what is the experience of persons finding themselves in a new unknown culture, what are their emotions, what they feel. The thesis further discusses ways to aid a person experiencing culture shock and help him/her integrate into the new society. It discusses both professional and lay counselling, especially the qualities of a good listener. The practical part is conceived as a qualitative research using semistandardized questions. The research consists of witness accounts of several girls that have experi-enced culture shock. In a dialogue the witnesses describe their experiences shortly after coming to Czech Republic. Mother Centres - Phenomenon of Modern Society

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of mother and family centers in the Czech Republic, their development from 1992 - present. Theoretical part focuses on the issues of today's family, Czech family policy, civic society, especially with the view of its impact, development a sustainability and new civic initiatives that emerged after November 1989 in response to the need of creating and supporting a safe place for future generations, especially the mother and family centers as a phenomenon of a reborn civic society. The practical part contains description and comparison of two organizations, established within the interval of 20 years in the conurbation of Brandýs nad Labem - Stará Boleslav and whose main commitment is to support family and civic society development. Based on the annual report analysis and questionnaires that were carried out with their representatives and members, the mapping of their development, provided services and activities and their impact on local community was carried out and the strategies of sustainability for future development were proposed. The subject of this bachelor thesis has been the importance of psychotherapy training in working with transference / countertransference processes in the relationship between helping professionals and clients. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts and mutual relationships between transference and countertransference, with a focus on helping professionals at social work. It deals with the importance of self-experience psychotherapy training for helping professional's self-knowledge. The practical part deals with the quantitative research of professionals, trained in psychotherapy and working in social sphere. The aim of the survey is to demonstrate the usefulness of self-experience psychotherapy training for the work of a helping professional, with a focus on transference and countertransference. Domestic Violence Against Women

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of domestic violence committed on women. The aim of this thesis is to penetrate into the issue of domestic violence, using professional literature and described life stories of abused women to describe factors that had impact on the origin of domestic violence in their families, including problems they had to cope with during their living with violent pertner. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part I concern generally with the charakteristics of domestic violence. I try to clarify the basic terms, describe its categories, forms and risk factors that affect the origin of domestic violence on women. In the conclusion of this part I deal with legislating perspective of this issue, with prevention, the issue of gender and status of women in our society. In the practical part I describe life stories of abused women and carry out subsequent analysis. I searched for the reasons of origin of domestic violence. Nearly almost the basic factor is the experience of victim or the offender with pathological phenomena earlier in their primary families. The view on a relationship aspects between a man and a guide dog

Ve své práci jsem se zaměřila na vztah člověka a vodicího psa. Cílem mé práce bylo zjistit, jak takový vztah může fungovat a jaké jsou jeho hlavní prvky. Věnovala jsem se otázkám pozitivních i negativních stránek soužití a jeho celkovému hodnocení majiteli vodicích psů. Důležitým okruhem byla i motivace k pořízení vodicího psa. Teoretickým základem mé práce jsou historické souvislosti vztahu člověka a psa a jeho vývoje, včetně rozvoje výcviku psů jako pomocníků člověka. Dále jsem se věnovala popisu druhů zrakového postižení, průběhu výcviku psa i legislativě ve vztahu k vodicím psům. Informace ohledně soužití s vodicím psem jsem získala prostřednictvím rozhovorů s respondenty, kterými byli tři muži a sedm žen. Z rozhovorů i prostudovaných materiálů jsem dospěla k závěru, že soužití člověka s vodicím psem je pro člověka se zrakovým postižením velkým přínosem. Z rozhovorů vyplývá, že tento vztah přispívá ke zlepšení kvality života člověka s postižením. Vodicí pes je zdrojem pocitu bezpečí z hlediska pohybu v prostoru a zároveň je člověku společníkem a přítelem.

Influence of current legislation on supported employment in Prague

Tématem diplomové práce je vliv legislativy na podporované zaměstnávání. Důvodem pro výběr tohoto tématu je to, že z praxe víme, že se jedná o velmi problematickou oblast. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je poukázat na největší problémy agentur podporovaného zaměstnávání, které vycházejí z legislativy a nastínit jejich možná řešení. Druhým cílem je průzkum na pražských úřadech práce zjišťující, zda státní úředníci znají pojem podporovaného zaměstnávání a zda znají základní znaky a charakteristiky této aktivity. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na pražské agentury podporovaného zaměstnávání. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř hlavních částí. První část se věnuje popisu služby podporované zaměstnávání. Podrobný popis podporovaného zaměstnávání a toho, jak funguje v ČR i mimo ni, je uveden proto, že pro pochopení problematiky vyplývající z legislativy je nutné tuto službu dobře znát. Ve druhé části diplomové práce je zpracován přehled základní legislativy a jiných dokumentů, které ovlivňují agentury podporovaného zaměstnávání v Praze nebo celé České republice. Jedná se o přehled zákonů a dokumentů, které podporované zaměstnávání ovlivňují nejvýznamněji. Tato část se nejdříve věnuje českým zákonům, které mají na agentury podporovaného zaměstnávání vliv, dále se zaměřuje na mezinárodní dokumenty a v závěru jsou popsány ty...
