2 Abstract: Title: Self-evaluation of work competencies as a part of functional evaluation of work potential according to Isernhagen Work Systems. Study object: To compare a perception of own physical competencies versus real competencies of somaticaly handicapped persons. Find an influence of occupation on conducted self-evaluation. Isernhagen Work Systems is a possible tool for evaluation of physical work potential. This system consists of model activities for freight handling, persistence in static position, work in stimulated position, locomotion, coordination and hand strength. As a standard of this system a Performance Assessment Capacity Testing is used. Method: In the study, there are compared results of the test for a perception of own physical competences PACT before and after the Isernhagen WS. The study was realized on 30 probands in standard test conditions. Results: The experiment did not validate the change in perception of own physical competences before and after the Isernhagen WS test. Also the influence of occupation on self-evaluation was not validated. Key words: Isernhagen Work Systems, functional evaluation of work potential, self- evaluation, perception of own competences.

3 ABSTRAKT: Title: Offset of load to sole of feet of special Police units members Objective: Objective of the thesis is to analyse causes and link between health problems and overload of the whole organism, lower extremities in particular. The issue has been narrowed down to special Police units, whose specific job increases strain to the whole organism as a result of using ballistic protective components. Methodology: In cooperation with the Ortopedica company which specialises in production of surgical insoles, a method called podography is used for diagnostics of sole of the foot. It is a simple, not expensive and accessible method enabling to acquire two-dimensional image of surface of the foot sole. The Ortopedica company provided all necessary equipment, and has carried out expert evaluation of samples of Mayer's method. For acquire of statements is used questionnaire survey. It is the method which explore and describe a behaviour and an opinion of specific group of people. For collation of two groups of plantograms is used a method called comparison. The first group shows a condition of sole of foot after initial measurement. The second group shows a condition of sole of foot after the compensatory training. Results: Results of the research are process as a case study. Results show impact of overload...

3 Title of the thesis: Changes in blood pressure during group remedial exercise in cardiac patiens Objektive: The aim of this thesis was to describe the changes in blood pressure during remedial exercises. Method: There were 11 females participating in the study, all of senior age and suffering cardiovascular conditions. The exercise unit was intentionally selected to suit treated cardiac patients. The blood pressure readings were taken during the one-hour exercise units at Motol Faculty Hospital. Mercury tonometers were used for the measurements and readings. Results: During the exercise, average systolic blood pressure readings ranged between 137,73 mm Hg and 183 mm Hg, (± SD 28,99) ,diastolic blood pressure ranged between 85,91 mm Hg and 100,45 mm Hg, (± SD 18,88), and pulse rate was between 69 and 77. In four of the tested subjects the systolic blood pressure exceeded 200 mm Hg during the exercise. The highest blood pressure readings were taken when lying down, after a dynamic warm-up, and during lying on the back while moving one leg vigorously. Title Scoliosis correction in school-age children Aims To introduce the ways of affecting scoliosis in school-age children using means of exercise and methods. To assess the influence of the targeted motion programme with the help of findings in developmental kinesiology and its positive influence on exercisers with scoliosis. Method This work was compiled as a casuistic study where I chose and clearly arranged exercises with the use of findings in developmental kinesiology, which were supposed to affect favourably exercisers with scoliosis. The exercises were done with five exercisers of school age. Before performing the specified program of exercises and after a period of six months, the exercisers were examined and the results were further processed. Results Based on the results of observation, it is possible to confirm that using means of exercise and and a choice of appropriate exercises can favourably affect scoliosis and thus improve the quality of subsequent exercises.
