Bachelor thesis deals with historical develophent of education in childbirth assistance in ancient Egypt,Europe and Hradec Králové. It refers to brief develophent froh ancienit times up to the prezent in the profession of midwives or nurses.Emphasis is put on education of midwives in ancient Egypt and Hradec Králové. The focal of thesis is qualitative exploratory investigation in women who were engaged in obstetrics nursing practically. Changes and improvements in this branch. The surveyed Hample is made up of nursing staff-midwives and nurses working in this profession in the Czech Republic.
Nurse care of woman in puerperium

The thesis is deals with explanation of physiological puerperium process and points out risks of pathological puerperium. The main reference of this work is to refer to significance of nurse care of woman in puerperium in area of hygiene, clothing, boarding, medicine ingestion, exercising, relaxation and sleep but also advice in area of woman's sexuality. Empirical part o this work compares level of nurse care in puerperium department at maternity clinic in Hradec Králové in 1970s against present.
Antenatal care and delivery of multipath pregnancy

Baccalor work is specificly dealing with leading prenatal care at multipath gravidity. It describes frequency of appearance of the multipath gravidity and etiology. It characterizes the most occuring threads for mother as well as for unborned child, which could arise during multipath gravidity. There is set of rules, in accordance with is dealing about the way, how is childbirth carry on. Empirical part is composed of quantitative research. It is dealing with a measure of awareness among mothers about multipath gravidity. It pays attention to rising of complications during pregnancy in dependence on the way of conception. It finds out, which health complications are the most common for mother and if there is necessary hospitalization because of them. It examines in which part of the pregnancy women give births with the highest frequency and what is the most often way of the birth of the multipath birth.
The most widely used contraceptional methods for women in age range 17 to 25 years

My bachelor work treats of particular kinds of contraception. It enlarges each method, concerns with positive and negative aspects of contraception. This work involves also few information from history of contraception. The focal point is made up by quantitative research that is mainly focused on findings of most widely used contraceptional methods for women aged 17 to 25 years. It also investigates whether chosen method met women expectations and whether this method corresponded with their needs or if they had to interrupt usage of contraception.
Influence of the life style resulting in the obesity

Bachelor's thesis deals with an influence of the lifestyle resulting in obesity. In the theoretical part of the thesis I focused on the definition of a healthy lifestyle and on introducing of the problematics of obesity, its diagnostics, possibilites of treatment, risks and importance of the obesity prevention. The Empirical part is focused on the analysis of the clinic's for reduction of overweight and obesity clients questionnaire surveying. I tried to assess how the lifestyle is reflected on the nutrition condition of the selected group, to evalute the nutrition condition of clinic's clients and their physical activity and find out their attitude to their own health together with treating with it concerning the overweight and obesity.
Multicultural Nursing of the Muslim Women during Pregnacy and Childbirth

This final work deals with the basic conceptions relating with multicultural topics, culture and communication. Moreover it is concerned with the specificities in the field of nursing of the muslim clients / patients and in this connection there is mentioned the conception of Madeleine Leininger. In the final work there are the information about Islamic religion and culture and especially the information about nursing of the muslim women during pregnacy and childbirth in the Arabian countries. An integral part of the final work is the quantitative experimental research which is focused on the awareness and experience in the field of nursing of the muslim lady clients / patients. The surveyed sample is created by the midwives from selected hospitals in the Czech Republic.
Preparation of education of a (lady) client before beginning of stimulation at the assisted reproduction programme

The paper deals with education of women who are suffering from infertility. In the paper there is acctented first - rate and right education before beginning of stimulation at the assisted reproduction programme. In the theoretical part there is global information about infertility, its causes, diagnostics and treatment. The theory of nursing education is included. In the practical part there is research which explores the quallity of education made by nursing staff. The other goal was to explore the level of knowledges of educated patients/clients and their partners. Searched group is composed of patients/clients who attend the Centre of assisted reproduction which is included in PPCHC s.r.o., Sanus Hradec Králové. The outcome of this research is that there is a need of establishing standardisated education. This education would offer completed information about infertility treatment and it would help to improve the quallity of nursing care.
Pregnancy, birth and new-born care in the 16 th and 17 th centuries professional practices and reflection

The bachelor's thesis deals with pregnancy, birth, child-bed and new-born care in the early modern period. It attempts to reveal how women and the society of the period understood the knowledge on conception, fetus, sterility and child mortality. Using the examples of medical books from the 16th and 17th centuries, the work describes the professional practices of doctors and mid-wives and compares them with contemporary medical science. It also examines how the information from the medical books penetrated the everyday lives of the noble society.
Activism of seniors living in nurturant and retirement houses

Activism of seniors living in nurturant and retirement houses Bachelor's work was aimed for nurturant and retirement houses. Focus was the fact whether in these institutions the free-time activities are being prepared and who and how is managing them. My findings were positive, as the acitivities are established at all locations, at some of them with educated staff, at some with specialized programs with reccurences and wide offers. Also exact activities for immobile clients are created and helping to motivate them to shake off the fear and check something re-new out. Research pointed out the interests of seniors and their willingness to change their life to better. Activism of seniors takes really serious place in policy of human aging.
Education of female clients in operation gynecology

The bachelor's thesis deals with education's activities in the operation gynekology. It refers to the right to be informed which is one of the basic needs of people, and the necessity to make all women share the responsibility of their health. It places emphasis on activities of the physicians, but primarily on the activities of the nurses/midwives in their roles as educators, and it places emphasis on respecting female patients as individual human beings. The goal of the bachelor's thesis is research on the gynecological ward in the Regional Hospital in Pardubice. The research's goal is to assess the extent and needs of education in the pre- and post-operative periods for hospitalized women who undergo a serious gynecological surgery.
