Title: MABC-2 test battery analysis of primary school children with hearing impairment Objectives: The objective of this work consisted in assessing motor skills in children from the primary school degree at elementary school Holečkova for children with hearing impairment using the assessment battery MABC- 2 (Movement Assessment Battery for Children - Second Edition). Achieved results were compared to standard population of British children. The secondary objective consisted in assessing the relation between the results from using the assessment battery and reported participation in regular movement activities. Methods: The assessment of the motor activity in children with hearing impairment was performed by using the assessment battery MABC-2 (Henderson et al., 2007). The method of comparison between the results from assessed and standard children were used in this work. It was revealed by a non- standard questionnaire whether the children do sports, in which way and where. Descriptive statistical methods in the form of graphical analyses were used to process the results. Results: Children with hearing impairment from 6 to 14 years of age were showing significant difficulties in abilities of catching and aiming on target in comparison to the standard population. Despite our expectation the...

Title: Functional stability and mobilization of spine for subjects with chronic back pain. Objectives: The aim of my work is to determine whether the specific kinetic intervention in form of "Spiral stabilization and mobilization of spine" is an effective exercise for subjects with chronic back pain. Methods: It was a case report study, single-factoring case history. Showcasing kinetic changes of the subject in exist time interval. In pretest - in the beginning of the case history- and posttest - in the end of the case history (i.e. after six months). Women 42 years old took a part in that research. She had chronic pain of her back and hypesthesia in her left leg, after the surgery of the prolapsus of the intervertebra discus L5/S1. The case history was ambulatory in Na Homolce hospital, in Prague. The woman had passed "Spiral stability and mobilization of the spine" two-times per week. Kinetic programme was ran individulally. I aimed my case history for the output variables: shortened and weakened muscles, better mobility of the joints and the improvement of dysesthesia and hypesthesia. Effects: The results of this process, which I applied for the patient mention above with chronical back pain, showed that the annoyances were improved. During choice kinetic intervention of the SM system. The first...

Title: Rehabilitation of Child with Cerebral Palsy in the Preoperative and Postoperative Period Author: Renata Šmídová Objective: During my practice I have met with a number of pediatric patients affected by cerebral palsy who underwent corrective orthopedic surgery, which in some cases were unfortunately unsuccessful. Based on the initial acquisition of information on this issue, I found a number of studies and articles on the success of orthopedic surgery in cerebral palsy. In many studies point out that the proper choice of physiotherapy has great benefit for orthopedic intervention, so I decide to map a connections orthopedic and physiotherapy approaches on the case and describe the elements of rehabilitation used in the treatment of selected patient. In the first part of the thesis I process in detail neurological disorder cerebral palsy (CP) and surgical treatment of deformities resulting from the operation of this disease. The second part includes a case study that describes the rehabilitation work of the physiotherapist with a child patient who undergoes corrective surgery on the lower limb. The third section contains qualitative research, conducted on the parents. Using the survey was to determine the effect of parents' opinion and the whole course of therapy. The aim: Demonstrate the...
