Title: Case Report of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Osteosynthesis of the Talocrural Joint Fracture Aims: The main aim of this thesis is to acquire theoretical knowledge concerning anatomy, kinesiology and traumatology of the ankle joint. Another aim is to make the summary of physiotherapy techniques used in this field and the subsequent elaboration of the case report of a selected patient with this diagnosis during my continuous practical training. Methods: This thesis is based on my continuous practical training from 18 January, till 12 February, 2016 in the Rehabilitation Clinic Malvazinky in Prague. The thesis consists of the general and special part. The first, general part was written on the basis of the specialized literature and is focused on summarizing important information and knowledge in the field of anatomy, kinesiology, traumatology, therapeutic methods and essential physiotherapy techniques which are used during the rehabilitation after the talocrural joint fracture. The second, special part describes the case report of the patient with this diagnosis. It contains the initial kinesiology analysis, draft of a short-term and long-term treatment plan, the course of the therapy, final kinesiology analysis and most of all, an assessment of the physiotherapy treatment....
Case study of a patient with hemorrhagic stroke in cerebellum
Alharthi, Faisal Fahad M ; Maršáková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Smejkal, Petr (referee)
Physiotherapeutic case study of hemorrhagic stroke in the cerebellum with hemiplegia patient as bachelor thesis is provided for you to show the full kiensiological assessment, special therapy approaches and therapy effect during 9 sessions. The farther goal of this thesis is to explain the clinical picture, physiological, biomechanics points of view. During my clinical practice, we used the main structure for the Kinesiological assessment according to the Prague School approaches. Manual muscle testing according to Kendall and Janda were used also. Due to the instructions and the protocols from the UVN hospital in Prague the main therapy concept was following " Grasies Concept" for stroke patients. Finally, we applied final kinesiological assessment to compare the patient situation before and after the therapy with focusing on the "Grasies Concept" effect. As a result of our work we found that the "Gracies concept" shows a great result in spastic pattern prevention more on the lower extremity. However, significant improvement in patient stability and verticalization ability which influence the improvement in ADL scale results. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Title: Postural stabilization and balance - theoretical background and definitions (literature review) Objectives: The aim of this theses is to investigate the present situation of theoretical background of postural stabilization and balance and find out the differences between both of these phenomenons. The theses should summarize the current literature including the newest studies. Furthermore, it discusses the most used computerized measurements methods for assessing balance and postural control. Methods: The theses has character of literature review. It is divided into several parts. The beginning introduces the theoretical background. The descriptive and analytical chapter discuss the most used computerized measurement methods for assessing balance and postural control. The discussion summarizes the current situation and results of the theses. Results: The total amount of the 104 studies was found, but only 12 of them met the criteria of the theses. Currently the most used methods for assessing balance and postural control are the computerized dynamic posturography and the visual feedback posturography. In the published studies there were found several differences in the methods of posturography. Even, there was revealed ideological diversity in the authors' opinions and disunity in...

Electroencephalographic correlates of prolonged locomotor performance of professional musicians
Brabencová, Zuzana ; Pánek, David (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: Electroencephalographic correlates of prolonged locomotor performance of professional musicians Summary: The aim of this work is to verify the presence of alpha activity in the electroencephalographic recording during prolonged (20 minute) violin play and compare its morphological and topical parameters with the native EEG record before and after the performance. Research sample consisted of five professional violinist in the age range of 25- 60 years. The results showed the occurrence of alpha activity for four of five probands, in one case with a very low incidence. There has been also demonstrated changes in the distribution of alpha activity from parietooccipital areas before the preformance to central areas during the play and immediately after finishing. All probands showed increased amplitude of the alpha activity immediately after finishing. The obtained results confirm the changes of morphology and the changes of topic alpha activity during cognitive activities and at the onset of central fatigue during physical aktivity described in literature. These changes were demonstrated by increasing the amplitude of alpha activity and the shift from parietooccipital areas to central areas. Keywords: EEG, alpha aktivity, violin performance, brain mapping
