Dále obsahuje informace o fyzioterapeutických metodách užívaných v terapii herniace meziobratlové ploténky. Speciální část této práce obsahuje podrobnou kazuistiku fyzioterapeutické péče o pacienta s herniací meziobratlové ploténky v segmentu L5/ S1, která byla zpracována na základě čtyřtýdenní praxe v Oblastní nemocnici Kladno a.s.  Title: Case report of physiotherapeutic treatment of patient with L5/ S1 disc herniation Summary: General part of this thesis contains theoretical information about functional anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of axial skeleton emphasising lumbar discs and information about physiotherapeutical methods used in treatment of herniated disc. Special part of this thesis contains detailed case study of physiotherapeutic tretment of patient with L5/ S1 disc herniation.
