Simulation of a temperature field of the FDM printhead
Rousek, Jakub ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the thermal behaviour of the printhead used on RepRap 3D printers. The main focus was on heatbreak zone, where are located important processes in terms of softening and melting of materiál. For choosed printheads is looked at effect of their design on the temperature profile and lenght of thermoplastic transition phase. For the purpose of simulations, 3D models were created using CAD system. These models were then used as vase for the simulation models of temperature distribution and spreading. The prinhead used for CR10 printer reach significantly worse result of heat distribution in heatbreak for model with bolt attachment between heat block and heatsink. This attachment is increasing temperature at the bottom of of heatsink and also increasing length of transition zone. The same attachment is look at for the second type of printhead – A10M. Here is difference less noticable. The heat transfer by attachment bolts is compenzated by reducing thickness of wall in the heatbreaks. For the printhead type diamond was deemed necessery usage of insulation materiál between heat block and rst of the components. Insufficient insulation is increasing risk of clogging and thermal damage to construction supporting fan.
Surface treatment of ABS parts after FDM 3D print
Světlík, David ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the surface treatment of parts made of plastic produced using FDM technology and design of technological device for surface treatment. The thesis describes FDM principles, according to performed experiments in a technological device there are suggested technological conditions for the surface treatment of parts made of ABS plastic. In the end of the thesis, there are calculated costs of the technological device and its operating costs, also mechanical properties, surface roughness and other specifications from before and after the treatment are compared.
Finished cutting operation holes to installation bearing.
Rybařík, Jaroslav ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
A survey of some methods of finishing cutting of holes such as fine tuning, fine milling, grinding, boring, reaming and core-drillings, honing and roller-burnishing. Requirements for the surface before placing the bearing, examples from engineering production and a proposal of solution of cuts of holes for placing of bearings in the gearbox.
Ecological factors and chip machining
Tomek, Jan ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the effects resulting from the machining performance aspects of the cutting process, recycling and waste management. The aim of this bachelor work is a search problem of cutting and its effect on ecology.
Production technology for selected part of the hydraulic rolling machine
Mynář, Josef ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
Description of the machine with a closer analysis of a structural node, in which is situated the produced part. Design, calculation and the choice of blanks for the two variants of the production. The choice of machines for piece and series production, the choice of instruments and gauges for mass production. Developing manufacturing processes with the choice of times in the piece production and the calculation for mass production. Technoeconomic assessment of the costs of semi-finished products and variants of production.
Hobby milling machine design
Valášek, Ondřej ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
At the introductory part, this thesis deals with description of individual parts of construction and control of CNC machine. Individual parts are described by vievpoint of principle of function, attributes and possibility of implementation on hobby machine. Furthermore is performed brief analysis of commercially manufactured CNC milling machines, which can be purchased on domestic and foreing markets for a purpose of milling wood and eventally aluminuum alloys. Main purpose of thesis is custom desing of CNC milling machine for non-commercial use. Three draft proposals are created first. Then one of them is developen into complete proposal. This design is then subjected to numerical simulation to pre-determine the machine's stiffness and ability to milling aluminium. The result of this simulation confirms the possible use of the machine for milling aluminium alloys. According to the simulation, the maximum deformation for possible machining of aluminium under predetermined conditions is 0.18 mm. In the last part of the work a price calculation was made, determining the approximate cost of the machine production at 75 000 CZK. The work includes a complete drawing documentation of the mechanical parts of the machine.
3D print of composite materials
Kašpárková, Kristýna ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor)
The submitted thesis deals with a study of composite materials and processing them using 3D printing technology. The experimental part of this thesis is focused on the production of test samples with the use of additive technology Fused Deposition Modeling and Continuous Filament Fabrication. The composite samples made of common onyx material, individually reinforced with continuous carbon fiber filaments, kevlar, or fiberglass, were made with Marforged Mark Two 3D printer. The other samples made of PETG PM and PETG CFjet materials were made with Original Prusa i3 MK2S 3D printer. For technological evaluation, a tensile test was performed on samples, following the norm EN ISO 527-2:2012. Based on results obtained from tensile testing, the properties of materials strength and usability are verified and compared. In this work, the production process is proposed, and technical-economic evaluation is made. In conclusion, achieved results and overall benefits of this work are summarised.
