The Influence of Activating Activities on the Development of Persons with Mental Disabilities from the Perspective of the Volunteer

The thesis deals with volunteer's view on the issues of development of mentally handicapped people through activating activities. The theoretical part describes the problem of mentally disabled people and characterizes work with this target group, including volunteering. The thesis also describes activating activities which are used in the Day Care Center for Mentally Handicapped Children, Youth And Adults in Strakonice. The practical part presents the assignment and the results of the survey which was aimed at finding out what specific qualities can volunteers bring to the activities in the Day Care Center for Mentally Handicapped Children, Youth And Adults in Strakonice. The research survey was carried out using interviews with staff and volunteers of this institution. The results prove that volunteers can bring new ideas, approaches and perspectives to the work with mentally handicapped people.

Preliminary measures in civil proceedings

The presented master's thesis on the "Preliminary measures in civil proceedings" deals with the institute of preliminary measure in the civil procedure as a measure, which provisionally ensures the rights of natural or legal persons. The preliminary measure is used in such situations, where there cannot be awaited until the final decision in the case is issued, with regard to the threats to individual rights or with respect to the concern, that the enforcement of the court decision is threatened. The aim of this thesis is to provide the reader with the complex overview of the information about the preliminary measure, both about the so called general preliminary measure governed by the Act No. 99/1963 Coll., Code of Civil Procedure and about the so called special preliminary measures governed by the Act No. 292/2013 Coll., on Special Court Proceedings. The master's thesis is structured into five chapters. The first chapter refers to the historical development of the preliminary measure in our territory and provides general information about this institute and its purpose. Title of bachelor's thesis: Physiotherapy of Walking in Parkinson's Disease Patients Using Visual and Auditory Cues Abstract: This bachelor's thesis investigates Parkinson's disease and the possible effects of physiotherapeutic intervention on gait. The applied gait therapy consists in the use of cueing strategies in which movement can be controlled directly by the cerebral cortex, excluding the activity of the disturbed basal ganglia. The thesis includes a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part, which is divided into chapters, gives a summary of general information about Parkinson's disease, of the possible physiotherapeutic treatment of particular symptoms, and a detailed outlook on the possibilities and benefits of using cueing strategies in gait therapy. The practical part aims at verifying the theoretical knowledge through applying cueing therapy on patients. The results are recorded in two case reports in either of which a different type of external stimulation has been used (visual, auditory). For an objective evaluation of the effects of both therapies (changes of gait parameters), functional tests (Ten Meter Walk Test, Emory Functional Ambulation Profile) and gait analysis by the GAITRite system have been used. Mather and doughter's influence on the future partners relationship

Presented task deals with a relationship between mother and daughter and the effect on a future partnership. The task consists to the theoretical part, which includes several thematic units such as definition and the mother-daughter relationship´s development, systemic view of the family, pathology in this specific relation and future impacts, recommended solutions of problematical relationship with mother and life partner as well. The practical part deals with case problem of one family, which is focused on five generation´s female bloodline. Five women were interviewed and two women were interpreted by memories. The object of this task is to understand the depth of particular relationship between mother and daughter and its effect on oncoming relations from the personal story side. Interviews were evaluated by Adult Attachment Interview (AAI) method from Mary Main and other components.
