Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá pohledem dobrovolníka na problematiku rozvoje mentálně postižených prostřednictvím aktivizačních činností. Teoretická část charakterizuje problematiku mentálně postižených a přibližuje práci s touto cílovou skupinou, a to včetně dobrovolnictví. Popisuje také aktivizační činnosti, jež jsou využívané v Denním stacionáři pro mentálně postižené děti, mládež a dospělé ve Strakonicích. Praktická část obsahuje zadání a výsledky výzkumného šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jakou kvalitu mohou dobrovolníci vnést do aktivizačních činností v Denním stacionáři pro mentálně postižené děti, mládež a dospělé ve Strakonicích. Výzkumné šetření bylo realizováno prostřednictvím rozhovorů s pracovníky a dobrovolníky zmíněného zařízení. Výsledky dokazují, že dobrovolníci mohou do práce s mentálně postiženými přinést nové nápady, přístupy či pohledy na věc. The thesis deals with volunteer's view on the issues of development of mentally handicapped people through activating activities. The theoretical part describes the problem of mentally disabled people and characterizes work with this target group, including volunteering. The thesis also describes activating activities which are used in the Day Care Center for Mentally Handicapped Children, Youth And Adults in Strakonice. The practical part presents the assignment and the results of the survey which was aimed at finding out what specific qualities can volunteers bring to the activities in the Day Care Center for Mentally Handicapped Children, Youth And Adults in Strakonice. The research survey was carried out using interviews with staff and volunteers of this institution. The results prove that volunteers can bring new ideas, approaches and perspectives to the work with mentally handicapped people.
