Eliminate structural thermal brigdes

The Bachelor thesis deals with the ways of eliminating thermal bridges in overhanging concrete structures using ISO-beams. The first part of the thesis presents a list of producers who provide ISO-beams in the Czech Republic, a comparison of products according to the transfer of internal forces, and the complete product list of ISO-beams by Schöck GmbH. The second part deals with the calculation of internal forces of particular balconies and design reinforcement.

Design and verification of training sprinter

The goal of the diploma thesis is the design of a training program for sprinters and verification of the training by physical metrics. Experiment is method, which was used in this work. The experimental and testing period lasted from February to June 2013. In the theoretical part, we present the history of sprinting, the various sprinting disciplines, the means of energy supply for sprinting performance and training for the various disciplines. In the practical part, we deal with development of the training plan and evaluation of this plan. Analysis of the results then confirms the hypothesis. There have been improvements in tests of speed, power, reflexes and endurance following the training program. Training plan was successfully authenticated.

Testing market approach using regression equations to estimate the market multipliers for software companies

Ph.D. thesis deals with testing precise use market approach to the valuation of software companies. Contains justification for the need of dealing with less traditional valuation methods, theoretical approaches for the use of market multipliers and existing knowledge to regression analysis is used to explain the multipliers. The analytical part is assembled its own regression equation to determine the multiplier in the years 2004-2010, the usability was tested in comparison with the use of a multiplier based on the median level of comparable sample of firms. There was also objective to determine the preferred type multiplier for software companies, which can be used e.g. when using scoring methods to adjust the multiplier. Complementing the thesis was to compare the quality of its own regression equations and equations published by Professor Damodaran. In most years through its own regression equations managed to establish a more precise multiplier than was achieved by using the mean value of a comparable sample of firms. We were also able, in most years to find suitable regression equation than the equation published by Professor Damodaran. Type multiplier P/E appeared to be significantly better to explain the regression equation in comparison with the other types of multiplier.

Implementation of multiproject management in terms of IT department of international business organization

The diploma thesis deals with the implementation of multiproject management in terms of international business organization and its IT department. The aim of this thesis is to describe the current state of project management in the IT department using methodology for measuring the maturity of processes. Define the management requirements for project portfolio tool, establish criteria for the selection and also tools comparison. After choosing the tool which satisfies all the requirements and criteria, proposal for implementation of this tool will follow. The conclusion is devoted to a summary of the results and proposals for change, to encourage improvement in the level of maturity of the project management process and project portfolio.

Business valuation of the company Gastroma a.s.

The goal of this Master's thesis is the valuation of the company Gastroma, a.s to the 1st January 2010. The first part of thesis is focused on strategic and financial analysis. Based on results of these analysis, there is determined value of generators and is created financial plan. Executed analysis did not confirm the assumption of going concern and it was replaced with limited standing company. The main valuation method is a yield method of discounted free cash flow to entity because of technical and technological base of company. At the end of the first phase the company will be sold sell for exit value. There was chosen market comparison approach as a supporting method.

Web 2.0 and its impact on business

The thesis Web 2.0 and its impact on business introduces the Web 2.0 concept and its characteristics in the first chapter. Owing to the fact that Web 2.0 is still a controversial theme to a certain extent, the following chapter is focused on the question, whether Web 2.0 is only a marketing label (buzzword) or a conception with a real content. In the third chapter there are examples of concrete web applications and services, which illustrates the areas, where the new Web is successfully established. These representatives are Web 2.0 flagships to a certain degree and for many people synonymous with this term too. The thesis is also concerned with the possibilities of commercial Web 2.0 usage. Web 2.0 has been discussed for several years and since relevant services have been in existence, there have been visible impacts of those new Webs on business. The last but one chapter deals with its possible impacts on selected areas of business. The content of the last chapter is a contemplation on how the Web is going to develop in the next years. There are also discussed social questions connected with quick development of the Internet and Web 2.0.

The goal of this thesis was to find out the market value of the company Procesná automatizácia a.s. Košice to the day of valuation on 1st of January 2010. Coherent individual steps that led to valuation were made. Financial analysis, strategic analysis and analysis of generators of value. According to financial plan market comparable approach was apllied in two forms. A selling price in 2015 discounted to the date of valuation and market value according to comparable approach with the group of companies were set.

The valuation of the company HYDRAX s.r.o.

The goal of this diploma thesis is the estimation of the market value of the company HYDRAX s.r.o. as of 1. 1. 2010. The thesis is divided into two parts, the first one is theoretic and the second is analytic. To keep the valuation approach, the financial analysis was performed at first, that should consider the financial condition of the company and value the existence of going-concern in conjunction with the strategic analysis. The earnings prediction is another aim of the strategic analysis and this prediction is the starting point for the analysis and the prognosis of value generators and financial plan. The DCF equity method was applied for the valuation itself. The final estimation is determined by means of interval valuation emerging from the optimistic and pesimistic earnings alternative.

Modern methods of data acquisition

This diploma thesis describes with simple bus 1-Wire technology, which is suitable for transfer of data measured by sensors. It describes the standard of bus and 1-Wire and iButton functional elements. This theoretical knowledge was applied during the construction of practical part. There has been a meteorological observatory constructed, which has been described in the next part of the diploma thesis. The last part of dissertation describes online distribution of measured values on internet.
