Process optimalization and 5S implementation in the manufacturing company PressMetal-CZ, Ltd

Bachelor's project deals with optimisation of industrial process using 5S method in a business unit, which was recently acquired by PressMetal-CZ, s.r.o. The first part of the project is focused on theoretical findings and description of each step of the method. The second part is concerned with the process of implementation of 5S method in the business unit. It consists of description and practical solution to the problem, calculation of costs and savings resulting from introduction of 5S method. Conclusion summarises achieved goals and contributions of this project.

Feasibility study of aluminium parts manufacturing at Alfa company

This thesis is dedicated to a study of manufacturing of aluminum parts at Alfa company. A complete analysis of the company's main product which are roller doors for commercial vehicles is elaborated. The thesis is based on a existing operation of the company and tries to find the optimal solution for the future. The result is the definition of a new solution and determination it’s operating costs, economic impacts and suggestions for improvement. Key words roller door, aluminum profiles, slat, roller shutter, manufacturing of aluminum parts.

Analysis of the Interface Systems and their Influence on the Product and Production Qualification

This thesis study deals with the development of supplier relationship model, connection to the system concept of this relationship and the use of the fuzzy logic in the supplier evaluation. Thesis study focus on the evaluation of the supplier relationship from the quality point of view, further describes the role of the purchasing within the organization. Than is a description of the Lean concept in connection with the supply chain management. The practical part of the thesis study contains an analysis of a selected companies including supplier evaluation using a mathematical model – fuzzy logic. The conclusion and benefits are described in the final part of the thesis study .

Theoretical design of the steel production hall

The bachelor´s thesis contains a summary of the steel structural types of the halls and the principles of designing the steel supporting structure of the hall building. The thesis deals with the design of the layout of the hall, the individual elements of the structure, such as columns, purlins, trusses, crane runway and also roof and perimeter cladding. Furthermore, the thesis contains machining and other processes in the production of steel structural elements of the hall. And finally, the technical and economic requirements and costs of the construction of the steel hall are evaluated.

Process optimalization and lean implementation in the manufacturing company ADC Czech Republic s.r.o

This Master's thesis deals with the optimilization of the production process of the firm ADC Czech Republic s.r.o. The first part the tesiis focused on the research study of the issue, which is used in the practical part. The second one is devoted to brief introduction of the company ADD Czech Republic and the introduction of the product, that is engineered on the production line. The next chapter is divided into three parts. The first chapter creates an analysis of actual condition. The second deals with the implementation of the proposial. Finally, the third part is focused on other possible proposals, which have not been properly worked out
