New building coffehouse with art gallery
Smolík, Tomáš ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
This work addresses the new building cafe with a gallery of fine arts in the city Havířov, district of Karvina. Project documentation is processed in accordance with current applicable laws , regulations and standards. The building will be located at the edge of the land of park in the city centre. The property is located close communication of III. class and all utilities. In addition to the land is central car park with parking space for visitors and the main entrance to the main pedestrian road. This is a two-storey building on the first floor of an establishment cafes and sanitary facilities cafes . On the second floor there is a gallery spaces themselves with one living cell. Ground-plan of the building has an irregular shape , the outline dimensions are 18,25 x 12,00 m Basics is designed as a monolithic plain concrete with embedded arm-reinforcement. Vertical load-bearing envelopes are made from heat - insulating ceramic masonry. Ceilings are made of ceramic beam system with ceramic inserts MIAKO. Most of the floor space is composed of ceramic tiles. The building is covered monotube sloped flat roof insulation. The headliner is designed plasterboard. This work dealt with the preparatory work and study, detailed documentation, text messages, calculations of the thermal assessment, fire safety solutions and seminar work that addresses the problem of flat roofs.
Java Based 3D Application
Slavík, Roman ; Kršek, Přemysl (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes the differences between the graphic libraries of Java3D API and jMoney engine. The first part deals with the features and differences in the architecture of both libraries. In the second part, their achievements are compared by mean of several tests, especially emphasizing the number of depicted pictures a second, workload of the processor and memory-intensity. The third part concerns with a suggestion and an implementation of a demonstration application in the jMonkey engine environment.
Design and development of ecological insulation material based on natural raw materials
Šťastná, Lucie ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a new insulating material based on natural raw materials. In theoretical part, there is an overview of available types of loose fill insulation along with describtion of selected natural raw resources and their possible use as thermal and acoustic insulation for the area of ecological woodwork building. The practical part deals with the verification of key characteristics of manufactured samples of insulator. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to optimally modify loose fill insulation based on recycled paper with woodchips from roots to achieve better acoustic properties of recycled paper.
Total insurance of business entity
Moltaš, Jakub ; Slavík, Roman (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
This diploma work describes the no-fault insurance project for specific entrepreneurial subject. The work includes the characteristics of selected company, hazard analysis, the selection of the most suitable insurance company and the optimal no-fault insurance plan that would minimize the most severe hazards of the company.
Chronic somatic disease in adolescence
Slezák, Tomáš ; Hrachovinová, Tamara (advisor) ; Slavík, Radovan (referee)
The aim of this work is to introduce the problematic of chronic somatic illness in adolescence. In some parts the ontogenetical approach is used. We describe the experience of the impacts of the illness in the area of closest relationship of the adolescent and his need to be seen as normal. The influence on family relationships is also described. So is the question of adherence and the relationship between the adolescent and health-staff. We describe also the influence on school performance and peers relationships. Attitudes of the adolescent to the future are also a topic of this work. Chapter seven describes possible psychosocial interventions for the adolescent and the family systém. The research proposal is aimed to find relationships between the HRQOL of adolescents suffering from psoriasis and their age, sex and some aspects of social and behavioral functioning. Design and construction of an apparatus to simulate material degradation
SLAVÍK, Radek
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design, construction and testing of a device for simulating material degradation (PSDM). In PSDM, UV radiation is generated, to which the samples are exposed. The samples are also exposed to temperature fluctuations in an attempt to approximate natural climatic temperature variations. A 400 W UV black light mercury discharge lamp is used to generate UV radiation, which approximately generates UVA radiation in the wavelength range of 350 nm - 400 nm. In addition, four Repti Planet UVB lamps, each with a power of 26 W, generate UV radiation, approximately generate UVB radiation in the wavelength range of 290 nm - 350 nm. A convection freezer and a refrigerator are used to simulate temperature fluctuations. Furthermore, the temperature fluctuations are applied to the samples in the PSDM and a dryer with adjustable temperature. The device was tested on a pilot set of samples according to a 30-day schedule that approximately respected the weather conditions. After sample exposure, an analysis of the results was performed by comparing the weights and SEM analysis using an electron microscope. In comparing the weights of the samples, an average decrease of 0,14 % in the weights of the samples simulated in PSDM was observed compared to the original weights of the samples. Differences in the structure of the samples were observed in the SEM analysis. The reference sample showed a duller edge structure of the material with minimal surface damage. Furthermore, there was a small amount of morphological formations with blunt edges on the surface. In the sample exposed to PSDM, sharper edge structures of the material and cavities on the surface were observed. Moreover, greater surface degradation of the sample was observed. The results of the analyses suggest that the resistance of PLA material for FDM 3D printing to weather conditions and UVA and UVB radiation may be significantly higher than generally assumed.
