Petříčková, Kristina ; Konvalinková, Romana (advisor) ; Jeníček, Jakub (referee)
BAKALÁŘSKÉ PRÁCE V AJ Author: Kristina Petříčková Supervisor: Mgr. Romana Lavičková Opponent: Title of bachelor thesis: Functional electrical stimulation of nervus peroneus of patients after stroke Abstract: This bachelor thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the option of managing foot drop with the use of functional electrical stimulation. It provides background research of available thematical literature, information about current options of using funtional electrical stimulation and information of its combination with other types of therapy. It also provides results of research studies that have been realized and describes effects of functional electrical stimulation on different aspects of gait and function of the lower limb. Described effects are both of orthotic (immediate) and therapeutic (long-term) character. Goal of the practical part was to compare gait of one patient after stroke with no compensational device and with functional electrical stimulator and to sum-up the orthothic effect of electrostimulator. It was anticipated that both quantity and quality of gait would be improved, but there was no noted improvement in quantity. Key words: Functional electrical stimulation, foot drop, nervus peroneus, stroke, ankle-foot orthosis
Effect of reducing the effect stays for bariatric surgery
Petříčková, Klára ; Matoulek, Martin (advisor) ; Piecha, Roman (referee)
(teze) Úvod: Redukční pobyty hrají významnou roli při snižování operačních rizik a napomáhají ke zvýšení účinku bariatrických výkonů. Metodika: Data byla sbírána z části prospektivně a z části retrospektivně. Na oddělení D3 III. interní kliniky VFN v Praze a v obezitologické ambulanci. Získali jsme 188 pacientů, kteří podstoupili bariatrický výkon, z toho 133 pacientů před operací neabsolvovalo redukční pobyt a zbývajících 55 pobyt absolvovalo. Výsledky: Bariatrická chirurgie Restriktivní výkony podstoupilo 82 % pacientů, zbývajících 18 % pacientů podstoupilo kombinované a malabsorbční výkony.
Characterization of N-demethyllincomycin-methyltransferase.
Poľan, Marek ; Najmanová, Lucie (advisor) ; Petříčková, Kateřina (referee)
Lincomycin is a naturally occurring member of a lincosamide group of antibiotics. The cluster of lincomycin biosynthetic gene was already decribed and the function of many of genes has been clarified. This work, "Characterization of N-demethyllincomycin-methyltransferase", is focused on the study of the final step of lincomycin biosynthetic pathway - the methylation of nitrogen atom from the pyrollo ring of the propylproline unit of the N-demethyllicomycin (NDL). The aim of this work was the characterization of the protein LmbJ, catalysing this final biosynthetic step. All the experiments were provided for the enzyme LmbJ with N-terminal histidine tag, which had been prepared by the heterologous expression in E.coli cells. The pH and temperature optimum was determined as well as the Michaelis constants for both substrates of the reaction - N-demethyllincomycin and S-adenosyl methionine (SAM - a methyl group donor). With the exception of the pH optimum, all specified parameters have markedly differed from the data published for the enzyme isolated from the natural source. Based on the comparison of electron microscopy, blue native gel electrophoresis and gel filtration results, the hypothetical model of the LmbJ quarternary structure was created. Majority of methyltranserases, so far described occure in...
Project management with the specifics of tourism
Petříčková, Kateřina ; Potluka, Oto (advisor) ; Švecová, Lenka (referee)
The thesis focuses on issues of project management and the project life cycle in tourism. It answers the question what specifics are reflected in projects financed by the European Union in the tourism sector. The thesis evaluated the benefits of selected projects financed by EU funds for the development of tourism and the development of the Czech Republic through the tourism sector.
