The comparision of the basketball coaches'competencies to the other sports

Title: Comparison of basketball coaches competencies with other sports. Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis was to compile a basketball coach's competence list and compare these competencies with demands on selected coaches of other sports. Semi- structured interviews with active basketball coaches as well as the literature were used to obtain desired competencies. Methods: This marketing research included both quantitative and qualitative methods. The collected data from questioning players and coaches was obtained via an electronic questionnaire. The 4 level-point Likert scale without central tendency was chosen for evaluating the importance of the collected data and a semi-structured interview with active basketball coaches had been used to obtain desired competencies. These competencies were categorized into clusters which, subsequently, made the interpretation of the results more transparent. Results: The results of the research identified the most important competencies for the profession of an "ideal" basketball coach. These competencies (20 of them in total) were chosen to take part in competency profile. The quality of sport-related services in institutions designed for children aged 3-6 years (pre-school education).

Title: The quality of sport-related services in institutions designed for children aged 3-6 years (pre-school education). Objectives The quality of objective of this work is to determine the quality of sport-related services in day-care centers in the Czech Republic. Methods: This marketing research is going to be conducted using standardized methods of SERVQUAL in the form of a written questionnaire, which is going to be left to the principals of selected day-care centers who will further hand it to the parents of the children. Results: The results of this marketing research show that neither of the two nurseries provides such good sport services so that the parents were fully satisfied. The day-care center of Matjuchinova in Zbraslav presented itself with the better results. The results of the second institution - the day-care center of Psáry - turned out very badly and many of the local provided sports services can be described as poor. Design and construction of Src biosensor

Src kinase is a well-known proto-oncogene that contributes to cell migration and proliferation and is often found deregulated in tumors. Yet, biology of Src is not fully understood and great effort is made to find new tools for broadening knowledge about the kinase. In this thesis is described design and construction of a novel Src biosensor that exploits genetically encodable fluorophores derived from green fluorescent protein and Förster/fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). The fluorophores are inserted directly into the structure of full-length c-Src in the way that should not impair the inner regulatory mechanisms of Src. The created biosensor proved to be sensitive to various stimuli, which also activate c-Src, by increase of activating autophosphorylation on Tyr4162 and decrease in FRET. Preliminary experiments indicate that the Src biosensor can be used to reflect Src activation in fixed cell as well.

Polyfunctional building

Diploma thesis deals with a new polyfunctional building with in the town Třebíč. The aim of this work is to develop design documents for building construction. It is detached building with five above-ground floors and one basement. Spaces that are used to operate on the first floor and second floor are operationally separated. Three floors are intended for occupancy 30 – 40 persons.

Design of brake test pedometr

This bachelor thesis is focused on equipment used for measurinng the handling force of braking system, a regulations of homologation tests (by ECE) and inspection checks (by MT) of braking systems. Furthermore, it includes a survey of commercial pedometers and their working principles, its andvanteges and disadvanteges. To end with, the author presents custom pedometer with a calibration device.
