Self - esteem in Adolescents in Institutional Care with Foster Care Experiences

This thesis is devoted to the self-esteem in adolescent children (16-18 years), who have a long term foster care experience and due to their educational problems they have been ordered institutional care. The aim of the thesis is to explore how adolescents perceive and evaluate themselves with this experience and whether and how they reflect their experience with subtitute family care and institutional care to their self-esteem. The theoretical part is focused on specifics of adolescence, theoretical construct of self- esteem, system of foster care and institutional care in the Czech republic. The practical part includes research with adolescents within the qualitative paradigm. The form of self-esteem is explored through interviews with boys. Results of the data analysis are compared in the final part with actual theoretical knowledge in this area. Influence of Stress Factors on Life Satisfaction

ABSTRACT
 This diploma thesis deals with whether and, if so, what influence the stress factors have on the life satisfaction of adults. It also focuses on what other aspects are important during the evaluation. The thesis is based on a qualitative research, in which the individuals have given authentic testimonies when evaluating their life satisfaction and conditions, which significantly affect the evaluation. Attention was paid to both negative and positive effects and strategies when coping with difficult situations, trying to find similarities and differences and evaluate substantial factors. The goal also is to show possibilities of achieving a higher level of satisfaction. The merit of the thesis is in honest and comprehensive testimonies of the individuals on this topic and in the possibility to think about one's own life attitude and about the level and limits for reaching life satisfaction in general. Burnout syndrome of teachers

The diploma thesis is concerned with the burnout syndrome in the case of teachers at elementary schools in Prague. The main target is to define the rate of burnout among teachers according to the grade of the school, level of education and the length of their practice. Also their sex and age were evaluated. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the specifics of teachers' profession with their extra requirements. There is drawn a comparison between the teachers at the 1st and the 2nd grade focused on the difficulty of their profession connected to the burnout syndrome. There are also defined the stressful situations which influent the burnout syndrome. The problem of burnout syndrome is described in general and aimed at the teachers, too. The practical part contents the empirical research of data obtained from the written questionnaire - quantitative method. The data were processed and analysed with a computer programme. I checked the result reliance on sex, age, level of education, length of practice and the grade of the school where the teacher affects. I compared my results with specialized literature. Literary-didactic potential of Capek's Apocryphs

The main aim of this thesis is to show the didactic potential of the Apocryphal Tales by Karel Capek as well as to suggest the possible ways to include it in the high school literature education. The theoretical part of this thesis mainly deals with the author - Karel Capek and the concept of the Apocryph. These theoretical chapters study the Apocryphal Tales in detail, especially, focusing on the origin of the book and the existing editions, content and formal analysis, author's work with the intertexture and artistic progress used by Karel Capek. The special part is dedicated to the possible reasons of underestimation of the Apocyrph within author's other works. The practical part targets the didactical potential of the Apocryph. There are described the possibilities of the work with all the texts and possible ways how to work with the idea of Apocryph. The crucial part shows the detailed analysis of the didactical potential of seven selected texts integrated with extended commentary to the structure of this chapter. Another very important part pursues the verification of didactical potential of one of the Apocryph in the framework of secondary school education. ABSTRAC The theme of this dissertation work is teachers' burnout syndrome. The theoretical part contains information from scientific literature concerning terms: burning out, exhaustion and stress, and shows their causes and symptoms. Teacher's personality is described from points of view of typology, professional demands, burnout syndrome and it is also explained how to prevent this syndrome. The empirical part of the work is represented by the research on various types of Prague schools. The standardized questionnaire Burnout Measure adopted from authors Ayal Pines and Elliot Aronson is used on that matter.
Profile of helping professions in MMPI-2

My bachelor thesis is devoted to Profiles of Care Occupations in MMPI- 2. The thesis is devided into 2 parts -a theoretical and an empirical. The theoretical part explains the expressions such as "personality", "caring", "prosocial behaviour", "care occupations" and "volunteerism". I describe the personality of a care occupation mainly from the point of view of individual personal characteristics. The explanation of the characteristics is based on the researched facts. I operate with a questionnaire Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory 2 in the empirical part of thesis, I decided to include an introduction of this psychodiagnostical procedure and I focuse it on diagnosing those personal characteristics that are connected to care occupation personality. Empirical part of thesis is devoted to a research based on following questions: 1) Do psychologists, the representatives of care occupations, show this characteristics in a questionnaire MMPI-2 that are commonly connected to care occupations in general? 2) Do the psychologists differ from volunteers in their scores in MMPI-2 (in terms of comparing profiles of personal characteristics of those 2 named groups)? 5

This diploma thesis Accounting According to Czech Accounting Standards and IFRS in Agriculture presents a comparison of accounting according to Czech Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. Theoretical solutions addressing agriculture under the rules of the Czech Republic. Later it described treatment under IAS 41 Agriculture. The practical part of this standard is applied to the selected company. First is characterized company. Then they defined biological assets and agricultural production, classification of biological assets and valuation at fair value. The discussion describes changes related to the application of this standard. Finally they summarize the differences between the accounting adjustments.
