1 Summary Aims: The aim of the theoretical part was to summarize information about the dental hygiene of the interdental space, characterize the anatomy, the morphology of the interdental space, and related physiological and pathological states. It was crucial to mention the utilities of professional and surgical care. The practical part was devoted to the problems of interdental toothbrushes. The aim was to engage in their correct calibration, resistance and recalibration. Methodology and set: The practical part was divided into two sections. The exploration part, focused on calibration and resistance of interdental toothbrushes according to norm ISO 16409:2016, was undertaken in the first section. A well-arranged passage hole diameter was constructed on this basis. The second section was devoted to a survey targeted on the use of interdental toothbrushes. Outcomes: It was proved in the first section, that a half of the interdental toothbrushes are correctly calibrated according to the ISO norm. In the second section it was established that a recalibration of interdental toothbrushes was done to a majority of respondents. Conclusion: Interdental toothbrushes are important interdental tools.
