Family house

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of project documentation for the construction of a family house in Brno. The construction plot is located in the Jundrov district in the northwestern part of the city of Brno. The house is designed as four floors, of which one floor is underground. There is one apartment unit in each above-ground floor and two parking spaces per unit. The project documentation also includes an assessment concerning building physics and the concept of technical equipment installations. The work was processed using the following programs: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Autodesk AutoCAD 2022, BuildingDesign, SketchUp, Lumion.

THE ANALYSIS OF MARKETING STRATEGY OF A HOTEL

The thesis is related to the sector of services in the hotel industry. One of partial aims of this pthesis was a thorough analysis of the historical advancement till the present days. The marketing and management methods of SWOT analysis, STEP analysis and a questionnaire have been used to elaborate the work. In addition, various marketing strategies which could be put to use for the hotel in question have been evaluated. However, the main target of the work was a draft of such a marketing strategy that will appear the most advanced in the future.

Mass spectrometry imaging

The course will focus on MALDI mass spectrometry imaging. Knowledge and procedures of sample preparation, matrix application, measurement, and evaluation of MALDI MSI will be summarized. The first part will be followed by a block dedicated to the practical experience of MALDI MSI of lipids,metabolites, and other analytes on tissue sections and other planar surfaces. We will also explain MSI by other ionization techniques (DESI, DAPPI, LAESI, etc.)

HyperCuts pro filtrování Linuxových paketů

Filtering of packets by multidimensional cutting is one of the new approaches to the solution of the packet classiffication problem. It is based on creating a tree that contains the set rules of filtering. In this case a packets matching is considerably faster than linear traversing of all rules. The HyperCuts methods are one of the latest methods that use multidimensional cutting. At first sight the implementation of the HyperCuts method demonstrated its utility. However, the final decision about the usage of the HyperCuts program in practice can be made only on the basis of the results of testing in it is necessary to can be using in a practice it have to be tested in practical operation. In comparison with the PTree program, which is based on the TBF method, the HyperCuts program, was more successful. The comparison was based on resolving the problem rather than on implementation aspect or success with the same data. In case, where we use PTree source code for confrontation, we compare it with source code of HyperCuts from our implementation. We compare time and memory complexity. In the theoretic part there is explain why the "range match" was used. There is definition of term "cut" which is very advantageous for time and memory complexity. Investment strategies

In this thesis we study interest rates and we introduce short rates models. Then we study interest rate dependent financial assets. Next we introduce duration and duration of portfolio of bonds. In the next part we focus on fundamental analysis. We mention its basic parts and we introduce tools used in fundamental analysis. In the last part we focus on technical analysis. We start with chart formations and then we describe indicators. We show application of indicators on data from real market.

Routing simulation in wireless networks

This work deals with creation of system for routing simulation in wireless networks. System allows the user to enter relevant parameters for simulation and analyses the network. System can assign simulation parameters automaticaly based on chosen algorithm. First it counts node output powers and second communication routes. It is easy to add new algorithms. System is focused on user friendliness and good extensionality. The objective was not to implement realistic model of real network, but to create system where could be new algorithms tested. There is described architecture of the system in the work, so one can continue with development.

Algorithm Visualisation

Animelib is Java library, which visualizes data structures. It is designated for user-friendly visualization of algorithms. User-friendlyness is done in two ways - programmer of algorithm has much less graphics code to write (none ideally), and user - viewer should be pleased with what he sees.

Methods of the visualizaotion in teaching

Program orgpad is used for sorting, sharing and "brightening" own ideas. Orgpad is the program, which was designed based on Herbart's psychology, respectively Herbart's knowledge of his own mind. This work is an introduction program pi-mind.js, which is the allocation of orgpad. The thesis discuss the status of the program pi-mind.js in the context of the current "brain mapping" and the program is put into the context of the educational process and its possible use in this field, in particular is examined through a questionnaire survey of its usefulness in writing thesis, respectively Ph.D. thesis at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Charles University.
