Ethical issues in the profession of a soldier
JELÍNKOVÁ, Markéta
Introduction: This thesis deals with the influence of the military operations troops after a moral-psychological page. Objectives: The aim is to identify with such ethical problems they may encounter Czech soldiers during overseas operations. Method: I was doing qualitative research semistructured interview. The target group was military chaplains of Army of Czech Republic, who have experience from overseas operations. Results: Processed talks (transcripts can be extended to look at the appendix) with military chaplains, who are focused on work with the soldiers after the ethical and psychological. Summary of individual questions is under discussion. Conclusion: In conclusion, there are summary and proposals for the elaboration of further research on the issue.

This thesis aims to ascertain which method is the most appropriate to measure impacts of Corporate Social Responsibility and also specifically Corporate Community Investments as a part of Corporate Social Responsibility. Various methods were used in the Master's Thesis, such as analysis, comparison, several personal as well as phone interviews or questionnaire. Section 1 provides overview of Corporate Social Responsibility from various perspectives. Sections 2 and 3 focus on measuring impacts of Corporate Social Responsibility and particular measurement methods. Section 4 provides a comparison of existing methods. In section 5, Case Study on projects of ČSOB regarding Financial Literacy in the Czech Republic is being solved, including analysis of Financial Literacy in terms of "Need" and "Supply" as well as the application of measurement methods. As of the results, Global Reporting Initiative proved to be the most appropriate method to be used for Corporate Social Responsibility/sustainability measurement in general while London Benchmarking Group methodology is the most suitable within Corporate Community Investment. However, both methods should be supplemented when being applied as they are not exhaustive.

Lincomycin, produced by Streptomyces lincolnensis, is important, clinically used antibiotic. Its gene cluster consists of twenty-seven putative open reading frames with biosynthetic or regulatory functions and three resistance genes. Comparison of the chemical structure of the lincomycin and celesticetin indicates, that in the biosynthesis of celesticetin the whole propylproline branch is absent and proline is substrate of the penultimate step of biosynthesis, the condensation reaction. Second part of biosynthetic pathway including conversion of L-tyrosine to L-proline should be involved in the biosynthesis of functionally different anthramycin antibiotics. Thus it appears, that genetic information on lincomycin and anthramycin biosynthesis must also share common elements (genes), both biosynthetic and regulatory. The organization of transcription units was found. The analysis of the lincomycin biosynthetic gene transcripts in various cultivation stages revealed the genes with putative regulatory functions which are transcribed sooner. A set of probes based on the sequence of lincomycin biosynthetic cluster was used to search for analogous genes in celesticetin producer Streptomyces caelestis and three producers of anthramycin antibiotics: Streptomyces refuineus, Streptomyces albus and Streptosporangium sibiricum. Hybridization experiments proved presence of several analogues of genes coding for sugar moiety biosynthesis in S. caelestis and analogues of some genes coding for anthramycin antibiotics in different anthramycin producers. A rough restriction map of a part of celesticetin gene cluster presumably responsible for sugar moiety biosynthesis shows the gene arrangement to be very similar to that of lincomycin biosynthetic cluster.
