Feasibility study of a project of extension of an equestrian centre

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the viability of an investment project which is concerned by extension of an equestrian centre. Two main components of the project are the construction of a new mounted riding hall and the extension of the stables for clients' horses. The evaluation will be based on a feasibility study. The thesis analyses the reasons for realising the project, describes the factors which influence its feasibility and evaluates their impact. The result of the study is summarized in the recommendation for the investors. This recommendation will serve as a basis for the decision making of both the investor and the current owner.
Project Management of small projects and its application to internal project of industrial company

Master's Thesis deals with project management of minor projects and its utilization in industrial company in environment with minimal knowledge of project management. Thesis is based on analysis of internal project in the department Transpormangement in the company SKODA AUTO a.s. The goal of the thesis is to create an effective recommendation of workflow which will be exploitable in future similar projects. The author examines internal project through methodologies for Change management and Project management used in company. The author sets recommendations in problem area of stakeholders, communication and risks.
Multi-criteria evaluation of risky alternatives in area of mobile technologies

The master thesis deals with managerial decision-making, more specifically with the multi-criteria evaluation of alternatives under risk for the GAMACZ.CZ company, which currently solves problem of low profitability. The aim of the thesis is to define the decision-making objective(s), determine the set of evaluation criteria, identify potentially successful alternatives, determine their impacts and finally evaluate alternatives and recommend the most suitable one for the company. For the purpose of the multi-criteria evaluation with risk integration the author uses the Weighted Sum Approach. On the basis of these methods the most suitable option together with suggestions of implementation are proposed to the company and the reality check is executed.
Evaluation of a project financed from public funds

This thesis is focused on evaluation of a project financed from public funds. Theoretical basis for project management was described and discussed. The specifics that are encountered in the management of soft projects were also described. It was subsequently discussed the possibility of financing soft projects from EU structural funds. The practical part follows the theoretical background and focuses on the evaluation of a specific non-investment project. The selected project aimed to promote the application of people over 50 years in the labor market. It was evaluated what the organization did well in managing this project and what could be improved in the future.
The Application of new project management trends within a specific IT project

The Information technologies are becoming a key element in achieving an advantage above your competitors. Therefore, it is as important coming up with new and original ideas as well as having the ability to enforce those ideas by current management. The chances of enforcing new ideas are higher if you manage to implement the changes within set up forecast. The lack of flexibility and a low percentage of successful projects within these limits were the main motivation for composing this Master Thesis. There is an introduction to the agile project management in the first part of this paper and a specific implementation example of this method in the second part.
Application of Risk Management Methods on Decision Making Process regarding company ComAp entering hybrid systems market

Decision making is one of the primary management activities, sometimes even referred to as the core of management. In order to survive in today's turbulent and competitive environment, the company places even greater demands on managers who control the firm through their decisions. Practice shows that the risk during their decisions is often underestimated, in many cases even ignored, threatening the business prosperity of companies. Such an unfavourable situation was the main reason why the author of this work decided to apply risk management methods for solving a decision problem in practice. For this purpose, author cooperated with company called ComAp, which is nowadays considering expanding its focus and eventually enter into new markets. The aim of this study is to assess the possibility of ComAp entering the market of hybrid systems and by using the methods of risk management to recommend a suitable alternative. Another objective of this work is to evaluate the contribution of the Monte Carlo method for solving the problem possible usage of this tool in ComAp in future.

The aim of the master's thesis "Making use of best practice and lessons learned while processing the standard project Flexi Office" is to streamline project management in the selected company by analysing the errors and positives from completed project and processing the standard project for Flexi Office. Theoretical and methodological part describes the project management aspects, methods of planning and project evaluation. The practical part describes the characteristics of the examined company, reference project Flexi Office, processing evaluation of the project under which were stated lessons learned and best practice for the project, and using which are suggested some ways to improve project management in the selected company.

The aim of this thesis is to carry out analysis of methods of evaluating project management maturity, to use a selected method on a specific company, and to propose appropriate arrangements in order to improve the level of project management in the selected company. The thesis deals with important terms such as project, and project management. The next part contains the analysis of methods of evaluating project management maturity. From these methods, the author chose the CMMI model, applied it to a specific company, and proposed specific arrangements.
Efficiency improvement in a decision-making process using methods of managerial decision-making in a printing company

The goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to verify the application of managerial decision-making methods for selected managerial problems and thereby indicate ways to improve the efficiency of decision-making processes in a given printing company. The Thesis focuses on two specific decision-making problems. The first one is selecting from a list of offers of a printing machine and the second one is determining the amount of workers who should work in production during one shift. Selected methods for determining criteria weights and for multiple-criteria evaluation are applied to these problems in the Thesis.
The evaluation of the product portfolio applicability in other Balkan states

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation in the marketability of the products of the particular company, which operates in the territory of Albania in the production of ceramic bricks. After that their possible application to current markets as well as considering the possibility of expansion to other Balkan states. The thesis further explains the reasons leading the company to consider the expansion.In the thesis there has been evaluated the current economic situation of the company, a survey of the business environment about countries being considered for expansion has been made as well as the research of the competitors in the given area. An important part of this thesis is the selection of the forms of entry into the selected foreign markets by using selected methods and tools of managerial decision making.
