Analysis of development concerning use of electronic marketplaces in Ministry of Transport

This bachelor diploma thesis is focused on an analysis using the electronic market system by means of the time series theory. The analysis covers a mentioned process of public procurement made by contract owners registered in Tendermarket electronic marketplace and researches closely the public procurement process at Ministry of Transport. An analysis of eight different indicators, of which the total defines the resulting trend of this significant method use applied during public funds gaining, is included. Given the volume of public sector contracts, the electronic form of tendering is one of important means to reach an efficacy of expended funds. The result provides particular indicator values of the marketplace use and a future prognosis.

The bachelor thesis Waste management in the Czech Republic deals analysis and development of waste management in the Czech Republic. In the bachelor thesis are evaluated and compared between each other individual regions of the Czech Republic and periods. In the first part explains the basic concepts related to the waste management and the legislation dealing with this sector. The national waste policy in the Czech Republic is introduced there. The practical part is focused on analysis of waste management. With the help of time series is monitored the development of production of selected types of waste. Followed by comparison Czech Republic with countries of EU. Another section of the thesis deals with the vision of waste management in the EU. The final section presents suggestions that could contribute to the reduction of waste, the efficient use of already generated waste and ecological waste management

Waste management in Czech Republic

This diploma thesis discusses issues of waste production and related issues of waste management in the Czech Republic. Wastes are generated almost every day as a result of the most of human activities. The main objectives of waste management policy are the effort to regulate the amount of produced waste, increase the utilization of waste instead of its disposal and especially eliminate the negative impacts on the environment, natural resources and human health. These objectives are enforced especially through legislative instruments. Theoretical part of this thesis is a comparison of findings and knowledge gained by the studying of literature and other relevant sources from the area of production and management of wastes. The practical part of this thesis deals with the analysis of waste production and waste management in the Czech Republic in selected time frame and includes a prognosis of future development. The basis of the practical part are statistical data, processed with chosen statistic methods, especially with the analysis of time series. Finally, a survey about the waste management is carried out with the aim of finding the current state in the field of waste sorting.

Production of electric energy in Czech republic

This Bachelor thesis deals with the production of electricity in the Czech Republic. The search part is focused on describing the different sources of electricity production and the characteristics of the sources in the Czech Republic. In the practical part is sequentially compared the total electricity production in the Czech Republic and the EU per capita, compared to European countries, according to the sources of production, comparison of electricity prices in Europe for households and industrial enterprises and other comparisons in the field of energy in the Czech Republic, the EU and other European countries. Furthermore there is verification of the renewable and nonrenewable sources electricity by using the correlation coefficient. The last part is the forecast of electricity production in the EU, using time series analysis.

Stock market

This bachelor thesis deals with the stock market in the Czech republic. The first part of this work is focused on the characteristics concepts of the stock market. It is comprised of the definitions of the financial market, stocks, commodities, the stock exchange indexes and others. Introduction to the term Forex and definition of the types of stock exchanges and exchange trades. Introduction to the OTC trading and how the stock exchange work.
In the analytical part there is introduction to the stock exchanges in the Czech republic and the stock exchange indexes. A considerable segment is dedicated to the Prague Stock Exchange and the RM-SYSTEM Czech Stock Exchange. The development of share rates will be observed on the selected companies for the period of 12 months on the stock market.
In conclusion there will be a written assessment of companies and the development of their rates.

Tourism in South Bohemia

This bachelor thesis is focused on tourism in South Bohemian region. The theoretical part deals on the general specification of tourism, individual types and forms of tourism, development of the modern tourism, services within of tourism and support of tourism in Czech Republic. The second part of the theoretical part is focused on general characteristics, natural beauty, description of provided services and support of tourism on regional level in South Bohemian region.
The practical part is dedicated to tourism development. The development of turnout is divided by country of arrival, progression of number of collective accommodation establishments and of number of overnight stays between years 2000 and 2013. Prognosis of development of number of collective accommodation establishments was calculated for years 2014 - 2015. Conclusion of this bachelor is focused on suggestions and recommendations for further development of regional tourism in South Bohemia. For the underlying data processing were used the professional process from statistical methods.

Demographic profile of the cities of Prague and Bratislava

Prague and Bratislava historically were located in one country. Nowadays, Prague and Bratislava have been more than 20 years capital city of two neighbored countries. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to create demographic profile of these two capital cities. Demography is science about the population and its reproduction due to indexes e.g. natality, abortions and mortality. Demography is wide range science and therefore this bachelor thesis is focused beside the indexes mentioned also focused on marriage, divorce and migration indexes. There is also economic point of view and indexes as unemployment and average gross salary. The theoretical part of the thesis is about these indexes and its description. The practical part of the thesis shows us practical using and implementation and comparison of these indexes in both Prague and Bratislava. The prediction and development of demography indexes in future are mentioned in the end of the bachelor thesis.
The data for the purpose of this bachelor thesis were collected from Czech and Slovak Statistical office. The graphs were created and described based on the sources data.

Vietnamská komunita v České Republice

Hlavním cílem této práce je zjistit účel pobytu Vietnamců v ČR. Dílčím cílem je zjištění a porovnání života Vietnamské menšiny v ČR s životem Čechů. Tato práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Teoretická část popisuje a vysvětluje pojmy, které jsou potřebné pro danou problematiku. V této části se také analyzuje data týkajících se migrace, kriminality a jiné demografické aspekty, které mají vliv na život Vietnamců a Čechů. Praktická část se věnuje analýze dat získaných z dotazníkové šetření. Vybrané respondenti jsou především rozděleni podle původu a národnosti na Vietnamce a Čechy.

Organic agriculture and consumption of organic foodstuffs in the Czech Republic

The master thesis deals with the organic farming and the organic food consumption, not only within the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the master thesis, characterizes this dynamically developing industry, subsidy policy, legislative page and describes each of the production and non-productive functions of organic farming. It also presents the action plan for the following years, in which the sector should take. On approaching the definition of the concept of organic foodstuff, its specifics, the essentials of marking, control system and forms of sale. Finally, it deals with comparison of nutritional values of organic food and conventional food and also organic food consumption itself on the domestic market, with a forecast for the next years. Filling the empirical part is a statistical comparison and analysis of time series of organic farming, to which are added the individual predictions for the following four years. Furthermore, the practical part, respectively the consumption of organic food, supplements the statistical analysis of data obtained from an anonymous questionnaire survey concerning the preferences of consumers in matters of purchasing and consumption of organic food. Conclusion of the work is devoted to a summary of the data from the questionnaire investigation and proposing recommendations for organic farming and the Czech organic food market.

Tourism in central region of Czech Republic and Prague

The BA thesis focuses on analyzing the inbound tourism in the Central Bohemian Region and Prague. The theoretical section presents a general characteristic of tourism, basic concepts of tourism, its forms, types, and services. The practical section analyzes data using mathematic-statistic methods. Firstly, an analysis is made of the turnout in collective accommodation facilities from 2005 to 2015 in terms of foreign and domestic guests, as well as the total number of cantoned in the two regions. Concerning the number of tourists who visited collective accommodation facilities, a future estimate for 2016 is examined. Further analyzed is the development in the number of accommodation facilities in the Central Bohemian Region and Prague. Subsequently, the turnout in accommodation facilities based on nationality is provided.
